RAW Shoulders On...

How’s Everything, Enthusiasts?   Hanging in there? Yeah, I know. Another Monday… Stay strong. So, it’s another day full of obvious news. Let’s talk about some of it. Might as well.   So, people or at least those who feel strongly enough to post on Twitter and social media platforms are up in arms about the NXT Releases, especially since word dropped during SmackDown. Well, that could be viewed as poor taste or standard procedure. “Pinks slips” tend to get handed out on Fridays. Waiting until the show may be more to limit the effect on ratings. Drop it prior you could lose viewership. Drop it after and you risk overtime.   Regardless, the only names I recognized were Mercedes Martinez and Bronson Reed. Everyone else, I’ve never heard of. I kinda think that was the point. WWE is clearly restructuring and though it always sucks when people are let go, let’s face it, an overhaul has been overdue.   The pandemic was an enlightening time for all aspects of life. RAW? Great Balls of Fire Will Do That...

How Goes It, Enthusiasts? So, how did Great Balls of Fire treat you?   Well, to be honest, I was a little surprised at the direction they’re going in.   I’m glad I called the good contest between Neville and Akira Tozawa.   Have to say I didn’t expect the Tag Team IronMan Match to be as fun as it was in the end.   Cesaro giving Jeff Hardy the “little brother” treatment to close had me rolling.   Yet, I’m sure many of you were confused a bit by the Ambulance Match and upset by the Brock Lesnar win. Personally, I didn’t mind the Ambulance Match until it got “real”.   Thing about trying to add realism to a genre such as this is that for the most part, We the Audience know that all of this is scripted.   So, given that, the bulk of us peruse the WWE’s offerings looking for a good time and fun.   So, to see a wrestler – doesn’t even really matter who it is but, in this case we all know it was Roman Reigns – “go to extremes” by actually trying to hurt a fellow wrester, we begin

Why Feel RAW When There's Money In the Bank?...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts? So, where are we?... Ah yes, Money in the Bank is now the buzz and we have a Men’s and Women’s contract up for grabs for the Blue Brand.   Now, as I touched on last week, I hope the goal here is to start some beef with the Red Brand so that they have a shot at a contract too.   I mean that would make it interesting, wouldn’t it?   I guess there are brand specific titles but the way I figure it, the goal is a match at Wrestlemania.   Why wouldn’t someone goad someone else into putting it on the line?    I don’t know, maybe it’s wishful thinking but I just find that the Blue Brand being the only ones to have a shot isn’t any fun.   I think someone from the Red Brand on both the Men’s and Women’s side should be able to snatch a title shot away and give themselves a shot at the title of their brand.   Why not?   Wouldn’t that be interesting at least?   Add a different dynamic?  Maybe I'm just whistling Dixie... In any case, rumor has it that B
