Happy New Year, Enthusiasts!   Ready for a new year in the Wrestling World? I wouldn’t say it’s my life but it’s definitely an important pastime for me. 2025 is a 9 Year for you numerologists out there so, this should be a year of completion for a few things. As you can see, RAW will be on Netflix this year, officially making it a part of the modern era and tonight SmackDown will commemorate being 3 hours for the foreseeable future. And so, minor but as you can see, it more or less illustrates my point. Things won’t be the same in some areas this year. We’ll see how that plays out overall.   As for tonight’s post, we’ll start over in the Realm of AEW. With Adam Copeland/Uncle Edge back in the mix, I feel that things can be left to him to steer for a little while, especially since he can tout an Emmy Nomination at present. Happy Friday, Enthusiasts! Is it treating you well?   Well, if it’s not, do something nice for yourself tonight.   Sometimes, we just gotta take care of ourselves.   So, I suppose we can all breathe a slight sigh of relief as we can now put the Lana and Lashley saga behind us…at least when it comes to nuptials.   To be honest, I didn’t think they’d have as much fun with it in the end and I have to kinda, half give it to Lana.   They must have had her sit with Vicki Guerrero a little bit to get some pointers on how to be annoying in a heel way.   Though many feel they want those 20 minutes back, I kinda get what they were going for, the Funny Cringe.   What came out, unfortunately, is that the players may not have the chops to sell it.   Not to say the WWE should stop trying to hock that angle but they’re going to have to do it with people who can sell the material.   Hope someone is taking note. Happy New Year Again, Enthusiasts! I hope the bulk of you aren ’ t done in with hangovers.   Regardless , we welcome 2019 with a taped episode of SmackDown and the main feature is the return of John Cena.   Now, I know we ’ re all a little … unsure of how to best approach this situation and I ’ m not sure easing him back into the pool with a Mixed Tag alongside Becky Lynch against Cien Almas and Zelina Vega is the best way to get him back to where he was.   Not sure you can because … the truth ’ s kinda out.   Unfortunately, somewhere down the line, Mr. Cena lost touch.   I playfully refer to it as being in “ Cena-ton ” .   Understand that any celebrity may come down with a case of this.   I believe Kanye West is the best general example.   He ’ s been in Yeezy City for quite some time.   The advent of fame and fortune has decidedly changed their reality and they lose touch with the Common Person.   I feel that Cena has lost touch ...
