How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Happy Friday! Bed is gonna feel good tonight, I know it. But before that there’s a few things we can discuss concerning the Wrestling World. Most of it isn’t anything new but it should give me at least 1,000 words to type so let’s get on with it. Everyone wants to get to their weekend.   In the Realm of AEW, the pieces for the Future are being subtly laid. I wouldn’t suspect a thing so that’s promising. I can see that a clash for Papa Christian and Uncle Edge could be on the horizon as they have some business with the Riders of Death. Also, I noticed that the showdown between Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay could potentially be derailed by Kevin Knight as Omega and Knight are set to box later in the month. Knight now affiliated with the Don Callis Family could present an opportunity to “screw” Omega over but as I keep saying, that is not necessary just something to keep in mind should they want to supplement Omega’s wrestling lore.   ...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Welcome to a new week! Well, when a door closes, the Gods open up a window, don’t they? The return of Baron Corbin to the WWE Universe is a delight but we’ll get into that later. There’s not much for me to report on today so, this should be a relatively short post but you know, I can always start rambling. Let’s see where I end up. Here we go.   Over in the Realm of AEW, the groundwork for the future is definitely being laid given what I witnessed on the most recent Collision . As for the Future specifically, I’ll just say Our Man Moxley is starting to posture in a way that’s “strangely familiar”. Uh-oh. Here it comes. How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Welcome to the weekend. Well, there’s not much to report but I’ve got a couple things to talk about. It’s an interesting time in the Wrestling World, I think. I’m sure many have some things to gripe about but when is that not the case. I don’t think there’s been a time there wasn’t someone bitching but it is what it is. In any case, this could go a little long but I hope it’s captivating enough. I’ll try not to bore you. Let’s dive in.   In the Realm of AEW, it would seem that MJF is angling for a bigger part in the Future. After CM Punk returned to wrench the Undisputed Title from Sami Zayn’s hands he posted a face-swapped image of Punk as Hulk Hogan when he did something similar back in the day. He quickly deleted the image but that didn’t stop other posters from picking up on the sentiment and posting their own. How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Well, some stuff went down over the weekend, didn’t it. Guess something had to with it being so quiet. We won’t jump right into it but what I’m gonna talk about may have some correlation. Let’s take a little time and unpack.   So, we’ll start with the curmudgeonly ravings of Jim Cornette who had nothing good to say about WWE or AEW recently. WWE is too manufactured and AEW is full of wannabe jokers no one wants to emulate. What’s a person to do who wants some good old fashioned wrasslin’? Well, that is a good question. Probably stay in the past with the old footage available for consumption.   Most commenters pretty much hit it on the head that Cornette is coming off like the old man that he is here. The good old days have their charm but that was then and this is now. Like I’ve said before, I treat my wrestling just like Parkour. Always move forward. How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Happy Independence Day Weekend! I know that comes with some very mixed emotions in the United States but I’ll just say this. This country is a living experiment of the concept of Freedom. Note how that is more nuanced than simply doing what one wants. The conflicts we face stem from some feeling what they desire is better than what others desire. Freedom ultimately comes down to what works for society. We should be free to live. Free to prosper. What ultimately matters is that the method is effective. Remember, that can take many different forms and that requires tolerance and civility. We are entitled to our preferences but when one’s preference must become imposed, the point of Freedom is lost. Endeavor to live freely with all the trappings and intricacies that can create if you want this experiment to prove successful.   As for the Wrestling World, things appear to be a lot simpler but there is a lot of speculation wafting through the ...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Welcome to a new week. Well, it was an eventful weekend for the Wrestling World. Anyone who cared to, witnessed the juxtaposition between WWE and AEW and was able to come to whatever conclusion. Both have their pros and both have their cons but for the most part, I think the majority of us were entertained. And in both cases, the question now becomes what’s the fallout?   Let us start in the Realm of AEW. The prevailing story appears to be the “new and improved” Will Ospreay. Both he and Swerve Strickland ended up wearing plenty of red as Ospreay surged on to take the match. Strickland didn’t just give it to him, hence the bloody affair but with the Riders of Death in Ospreay’s corner, Ospreay appears to headed towards his “destiny”. How exactly that manifests and what exactly that is remains to be seen, however.   There are a few logistical questions raised by many fans as there appear to be some incongruities with the trajector...

  How’s It Going, Enthusiasts? Here we are at Night of Champions and this should be an interesting night. Now, word has it that we shouldn’t expect too many surprises but that doesn’t mean there won’t be anything to hold our interest. You can view this as a sort of midterm. We’ll see who’s measuring up and who needs a rethink. Given that, I’m not too invested but I think we are all more or less curious about the same match so, let me just get to it. So, King of the Ring. Will it be Oba Femi or will we have to endure Jey Uso? Personally, I’m fine  with Jey because of what many people think. It’s too soon for Femi. However, it doesn’t mean it couldn’t be done. Could he beat Jey? Certainly but should he…not so much.  The name of this game is generally entertainment and entertainment for the long haul. How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Happy Friday! Well, there are a few things we can chat about this Night of Champions Eve but it’s not that much really. I shouldn't blather on for too long but it may be engaging. I could lose myself a bit. Guess we’ll see. Let’s just jump right in.   Over in the Realm of AEW, preparation is in full swing for Forbidden Door this Sunday. My primary focus is on the Future and technically what I’m seeing appears to be continued foundation laying. I won’t go into too much detail because the point is the Future but I will say that I can see that the set up is in place. It’s comforting and exciting. I’m getting a little insight in how this business can be respectably conducted and it’s nice to see. When things get going…it’ll be rightfully nuts and some people can get left by the wayside.
