How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Welcome back to the grind. So…there are a couple things we can talk about in the Wrestling World. You actually may not appreciate my practical take but when you look at this stuff regularly, you just can’t fool yourself anymore in certain regards. You’ll see what I mean shortly. Shall we get to it? Here we go.   In the Realm of AEW, they pulled some double duty cranking out a Dynamite and Collision in Cincinnati, OH. Jon Moxley didn’t let his hometown down by working both shows. On Collision it was all “business” however as he had to have the Cincinnati Street Fight with Shane Taylor Promotions (STP). Mox basically had to finish what Taylor started on Dynamite.   It was a fun display. Perhaps a bit long but I appreciated the “realness” they tried to capture. How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Welcome to the weekend! Well, there’s some rumblings going on in the Wrestling World but I wouldn’t say it’s anything too exciting but there are some talking points that have definitely gained my interest. This shouldn’t take too long but I’m not going to restrict myself so, we’ll see where we end up. Shall we?   In the Realm of AEW the Future appears to be in its infancy. This week’s Dynamite definitely had some encouraging signs. The most promising of which being Don Callis and MJF. So far, they're exactly where they should be. No notes. They understand the assignment and are on it. As you were, gentlemen. I knew I had MJF pegged right. How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Welcome to another week. There’s not too much going on so, this should be a relatively short post. I’ve been chatty of late because there appears to be subtle things going on but I can’t substantiate anything as of yet so remember my ramblings are all speculation. Let’s get into it, shall we?   Over in the Realm of AEW, I’d say the foundation for the Future is in the process of being laid. Yet, before that can be explored, this young faction called Shane Taylor Productions (STP) is starting a little shit with the Riders of Death. They faced them in a Trios Match and then jumped Wheeler Yuta backstage to call out Jon Moxley for the Cincinnati Dynamite set for this week. According to Taylor himself, Mox has gotten soft. Does he still have the cojones to honor a call-out? Mox’s rebuttal? How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   A Happy Friday to you. There’s not that much to discuss at the end of this week but there’s enough for a short chat. I won’t take up too much of your time. So, without anymore ado, let’s get into it.   In the Realm of AEW, a couple things of note transpired. There was the return of Mercedes Moné for one. This doesn’t do much for me but I took a look at her match to see if we’re missing out on anything. She’s solid in the ring. I will give her that, but I have no desire to see a WWE return. She’s just too small for me.   Being petite doesn’t stop the ladies. There are the likes of Alexa Bliss and Liv Morgan just to name a few but they are a little crazy or cheat. Their gimmicks, presentation make up for the lack of stature. I don’t know why I accept it more. I mean, I don’t really, but it works enough that I don’t complain.   With Moné, she leads with the prowess in the ring, as she should, however what’s to stop a larger...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   How’d you like Clash in Italy? Personally, I enjoyed it more than I anticipated. I was expecting it to be a whole lot of whatever and if you go by what the IWC says, it was but it was fun. You won’t hear too much complaining from me unless it drops back to where it was when I started. I witnessed WWE produce crap and what we’re getting now is just standardized. It can’t be “crazy” every week. They have to build to moments of crazy so expect this to read like work some weeks. Technically to them, that’s what it is 😉 I don’t have too much to talk about but we got enough to have a brief discussion. Let’s dive in, shall we?   Over in the Realm of AEW, there’s not much to report from this week’s Collision . The Future seems to be advancing on schedule as Jon Moxley partnered up with PAC to take on some kids who call themselves The Infantry. That went more or less to plan. How’s It Going, Enthusiasts? Here we are at Clash in Italy and the big question suddenly becomes what shall we see? There’s talk of injury but…can we believe it? You never know in this universe. Let’s have a little chat. It won’t be long but let’s see where it goes. So, the word is Sol Ruca and Jacob Fatu may be too injured to perform. What happens then? That’s the question. The other question is how they handle the Oba Femi vs. Brock Lesmar Match. With Lesnar “half retired”, does Femi make it official or is this only the beginning? Personally, I can’t wait until Femi turns Heel but I hope they wait until he’s at least 30. You need to be in the right head space for that.  But I digress. With the “situation” up in the air it’s hard to comment so, I’m not going to really. How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Welcome to the weekend. So, there are few things we can chat about. Not exactly about the recent rumblings but we can touch on a few things there as well. If anything, there were a few observations I’d like to reflect on and then we can get into our tape-delayed action. You ready? Let’s do it.   We’ll start in the Realm of AEW as I was curious to see how Lio Rush was doing with his new “unbalanced” gimmick and wasn’t I delighted to see him going with the “Midnight Bomber” touch. This is why I always suggest humor. It’s the sugar that helps the medicine go down.   I’m glad. I get what he’s trying to do but you gotta entertain first and foremost and now I think he can just have more fun with it overall. How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Enjoying the final leg of the Memorial Day Weekend, if it applies? It was a busy one for the IWC so we got a few things to chat about. I won’t talk your ear off like on Friday but we’ll have a decent conversation. Let us begin, shall we?   In the Realm of AEW, they closed the weekend with their Double or Nothing PPV. It’s highly regarded as far as social media is concerned. From what I caught, I’d say that Kenny Omega proved impressive in his time on-screen. I know he’s good but he seemed to put on a short clinic this past Sunday. Gotta prove why you’re a “big deal” from time to time. He’s spoken highly of for a good reason.   As for my observation of the approaching Future, I’d have to say that Kyle O’Reilly vs. Jon Moxley was a mild downer in the kayfabe sense that O’Reilly either suffered or aggravated an injury. You figure O’Reilly would have put up more of a fight if at 100%.   It’s too bad for O’Reilly as Mox maybe...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts? Happy Memorial Day Weekend. So, I made comments on all the things I really wanted to say and looking at tonight’s card. This is an interesting time indeed. On paper, this is a mid-card show. The “meat & potatoes” are being saved for Clash In Italy so this show should be telling. Everyone we see tonight, is basically singing for their supper. Less so for the Ladies. The Lady Stars seem to be proctoring their matches but the men have to keep themselves in the conversation with this one. What should we care? Why should we watch? The assignment for those we witness tonight is “make it work”. It’s the wrestling version of Project Runway. Who will “make the cut”? I’m not going to speculate. As you can see, these are strange times and I promised a short post. Let’s see who earns their keep and I’ll talk about it come Monday.
