SmackDown High Tails It with the WrestleMania Finish Line in Sight...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts? Happy WrestleMania Eve! So, there’s plenty going on of course but only a few things that caught my interest. This is going to be a full weekend so I’ll keep the posts short. You’ll probably get tired of me. We’ll be talking until Tuesday. Let’s get to it. So, we’ll start with some promising news as Big E. gave us a status update. He’s mending but still not mended from what I hear. The key to when Big E. can return relies on how the bones in his neck ossify . Hard to say when that process completes but he is rehabilitating all that he can in the meantime and remains hopeful as he always has been. Naturally, we’re all hoping for his safe return but of course we don’t want to rush him. If Bryan Danielson/Daniel Bryan is any indication of how long a neck injury takes to fully heal, this may take 2-3 years. We’ll wait. In other news, Mr. Vince McMahon has legally and officially laid claim to…himself. He has been reinstated, to a degree, as Chairman for the next

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts? Everyone doing okay? I could complain but I’m not going to. Mainly because it looks like I’m buying a car instead of going to WrestleMania so, as you can see, worse atrocities in the world. So, let’s see what’s going on in the realm of sports entertainment and pro-wrestling. There are a few things I noticed. Well, we get some explanation on why Alexa Bliss peaced out for a bit. Partly due to other obligations and partly due to a health concern. Word is that she had some skin cancer detected and had it removed. She also did a stint on The Masked Singer which makes me wonder how she was responded to by the general populace. I don’t think she’s too popular outside the Wrestling World so that may have drawn some quizzical faces.  Regardless, I’m glad that she’s on the mend. No matter how you feel about any of these people it’s never so bad that we wish them ill-will. A speedy and full recovery to our little Miss Bliss. In other news, there are rumors floating a

What’s Going On, Enthusiasts? Enjoying your Friday? I am though in a very relaxed manner. So, the Wrestling World has a few tidbits to chat about. Let’s have ourselves a little review. It’s not a real surprise that CM Punk slipped back into his old self recently. The post has since been deleted but screenshots and quoted content is circulating. Though there were rumors going ‘round that Punk was missing wrestling, he made it kinda hard to go back to AEW by calling out the likes of Jon Moxley and Chris Jericho while confessing he’d never seen a Rocky Movie.  To be honest, and I’m not alone, the not having seen any of the Rockys is the most surprising part of this. You’d think he’d at least stumble upon it at some point. I’m no big Sylvester Stallone fan but I’ve seen at least the first 4 movies. They’re not bad. Endearing in their simple way. Rocky definitely takes too many hits to the face if you ask me 😉 But going back to Punk, this is why I think he should just have a tongue-in-che

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts? Good I hope. Spring is upon us and WrestleMania is just under 2 weeks away. There are also some rumblings going on in the Wrestling World. Why waste time. Let’s get right into it. So, some fans aren’t minding their manners as some have been “stalking” the schedules of certain wrestlers in hopes to obtain autographs, probably for financial gain. A video was posted to Twitter showing fans hounding Rey Mysterio for autographs and the display has put some people off, Rhea Ripley being one of them. I can understand the displeasure. Personally, I try to leave famous people alone. Having lived in Los Angeles for over 15 years, you run into a celebrity from time to time and it’s just like people say, they’re humans just like the rest of us. They’re entitled to their privacy and personal space. Leave them be and let them remember what it is to be just another face in the crowd. Yet should you feel compelled to approach a person of note, remember basic courtesy. If y

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts! If you’re in the United States, are you enjoying St. Patrick’s Day? Not sure if it’s recognized in the UK but if it is, hope you’re enjoying it as well. It’s my grandmother’s birthday in my family so, I don’t exactly go party, if you get my drift. Tends to be a quiet family affair. Regardless, we have some tidbits to chat about in the WWE Universe. Not much though so, this should be a short post. To start it off, it’s a low ratings week for both WWE and AEW. Nothing much is going on in either promotion and fans are taking a break because of it. This tends to prove my ultimate point about pro-wrestling and/or sports entertainment. Though it can develop diehard fans, people generally take this stuff casually so promotions shouldn't work too hard to pull in its audience. For the most part, we have more-involved interests. We’re not looking to trade it in for another one. But, stay fun and exciting and we’ll always come back for more.  In other news, Pete

RAW Picks up the Pace Just a Little...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts? Another Monday is here and there’s actually a few things I can chat about. Mostly WWE related but when is that not the case on this blog 😉 Let’s see what’s going on. First item of note is that Ridge Holland still isn’t being allowed to live down taking out Big E. Word is that he still gets death threats over being the cause of Big E.’s broken neck and subsequently putting his career in jeopardy.  I don’t know how this solves anything. We can safely presume that Holland has already been kicking himself over this mistake and will probably do so for the rest of his years. I would. Some “out for blood” types will never be appeased. Let this resolution remain betwixt the parties involved. If Big E. can find it in his heart to forgive him, so can we. That’s all that really matters at this point.  In other news, where in the world is Bray Wyatt? There are reports that he’s been MIA for last week’s SmackDown and a house show over the weekend. Has he been benched

Happy Friday, Enthusiasts! Hope it’s a good one for you. So, there’s not that much going on this week. There’s stuff but you know, nothing to blow anyone’s socks off. But I think I can string together a couple points of interest. I think everyone can handle that.  So, to start off, let’s talk a little bit about Bryan Danielson/Daniel Bryan. At the end of his match at Revolution this year he was filmed saying it was time for him to “go home” and naturally, that led to numerous speculations. The simplest answer is that this is in reference to a future AEW or ROH show in Seattle but some have naturally jumped to the conclusion of him returning to WWE.  Well, that depends on what he wants. AEW is definitely becoming a place for pro-wrestling fans and is distancing itself from “Sports Entertainment” , seeming fine to leave that to WWE. So, if this was foreshadowing to a WWE return, it would be a return to more storytelling as opposed to putting on a technical match. If Danielson feels he’s

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts? It’s just another Monday. 1 of 4 prior to this year’s WrestleMania. That said, those who are aware are prepared for the slow march towards the event. WWE is trying to keep our interest by promoting John Cena for their Boston show, which is tonight. Also, AEW had their PPV last night so there are a few things to chat about. Let’s get into it. So, AEW had its Revolution last night and from what I can gather there were 3 matches worth checking out. MJF vs. Bryan Danielson, Jon Moxley vs. Hangman Page and House of Black vs. The Elite. No surprise all WWE alums in that set. I’ll catch these later and see for myself. Yet, the matches aren’t the biggest buzz from last night. Apparently, MJF “shot” a little and tossed some water at some kid, who was not a plant, and naturally this caused some ruffled feathers. Many aren’t appreciative of MJF going “too heel” in this moment. I can see what people are saying. This is how people get sued so let’s just chalk this up t

Happy Friday, Enthusiasts! It’s finally clear and sunny in Southern California. It’s cold, though so, a little different. We’ve had warm days in these last days of winter in the past but right now, it’s acting like Spring isn’t around the corner. No matter, it doesn’t stop me from staying in to enjoy my Friday night. Got plans for the weekend so, it’s not all homebound. Regardless, we’ve got a few points of interest to talk about. Let’s get into them, shall we? Before we get into the rumor mill, let’s first offer some sincere congratulations to Solo Sikoa. Looks like he tied the knot this week and from what I could gather, it appears to be a lovely union. I wish the happy couple all the best. Mazel Tov! All right, now to what’s going around. The first bit of “news” isn’t all that surprising. It sounds like Brock Lesnar has no interest working with Bray Wyatt. Word is that he shot down a WrestleMania match proposed for this year. This, I don’t blame Lesnar for. The angle still has a lot
