SmackDown Leaves Us with a Christmas Present....

Happy Holidays, Enthusiasts! For those who celebrate in The West, Merry Christmas! I can cover the general bases for the time. Why not 😉 The Wrestling World appears to be on a slight hiatus for Christmas, especially with it falling on a weekend this year. I will be in town for tonight’s pre-recorded SmackDown so, I’ll get to watch along with all the other West Coast aficionados. Can’t say I’ll be along for the fun next Monday, though. Who wants a clip show of this? Isn’t that what YouTube is for? In any case, the stuff that has been catching my eye for this part of the week is the talk of WWE potential returns. The most speculative of which being Rusev’s/Miro’s. According to Lana a.k.a. CJ Perry, it’s not so much a matter of “if” but “when” he returns to WWE.  To be honest, this isn’t a surprise. Rusev was always WWE material and though he was somewhat bitter about how things went, let’s not forget that the biggest grievance between the 2 parties was Rusev breaking kayfabe on social m

TLC Closed Us Out So, RAW....Now What?....

A Merry Monday to You, Enthusiasts! Hope all is well.   So, TLC was actually a lot of fun!   I know some people had some problems with it but I enjoyed it.   The matches I touched on more or less made the grade.   Bray Wyatt and The Miz had potential but as I’ve been saying, Wyatt appears to be having a hard time landing his reinvention in person and last night was no different.   It was a  little more palatable but for me, I’m not seeing the point of getting in the ring if he’s not going to throw down.   Nothing is really happening in these matches.   The only thing that happened is that a cleaned up Daniel Bryan “reappeared” and laid waste to Wyatt.   That would have been even more fun if Wyatt and Miz actually threw down but no, Wyatt opted for masochism and then sudden dismantling of the Miz.   The match fell flat but Bryan kept it afloat. Aleister Black and Buddy Murphy were true to form and apparently didn’t hold back.   Hopefully, there’s no hard feelings as Black may h

Don't Let the Cold Leave You Too RAW...

How Goes It, Enthusiasts! It’s another Monday and with Clash of Champions done and dusted we now set our sights to the Royal Rumble.   Tonight’s RAW is supposed to get us thinking about what’s going to go down and who’s got what it takes to face Brock “Gun Jack” Lesnar in battle.   The obvious answer comes in the form of Braun Strowman, most would say, just due to his size and might.   As a believable opponent, he certainly fits the bill but is he a compelling one?  Does anyone really want to see Brock Lesnar and Braun Strowman go toe-to-toe?   It could be interesting but the last couple of previews were underwhelming at best.   We’ll see if they can actually hype this one up. Besides that, we may get to see what Matt Hardy does with this “Woken” gimmick.   Still not entirely sold but I am open so, if he changes my mind, he changes my mind.   And Absolution may just get some of what they’ve been dishing out.   There’s also a rumor floating around that we shouldn’t expect to see

Tonight, We Witness a Clash of Champions!!!

Greetings Enthusiasts! Tonight should be interesting, with it being the final PPV of the year the Blue Brand has the dubious task of closing things out and setting us up for 2018.  Given the match card, we shouldn’t be too disappointed.  It looks like Mojo Rawley and Zack Ryder will work out their break up in the ring for the Kick-off show.   Guess Rawley is ready for his solo run.  We have a few multiple person melees set as well with The Usos, The New Day, Rusev Day and Benjamin, Gable & Associates going for what looks like a tag-team Fatal-4-Way.  Along with Dolph Ziggler, Bobby Roode and Baron Corbin set for a Triple Threat match.  I get the feeling we’ll close with either Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn against Randy Orton & Shinsuke Nakamura or AJ Styles vs. Jinder Mahal.  It’s hard to say.  Charlotte and Natalya going for it has gotta fit in somewhere too along with Breezango and the Bludgeon Brothers.  I wouldn’t be surprised if the latter finds its way to the Kick-of
