A Survivor Series to Remember?....

Image
Uhhhh....We'll see.   Greetings Enthusiasts!  Yes, I have been missing in action of late but I've been keeping current with the goings-on.  So, we'll see who takes the Heavyweight Title tonight while Seth Rollins recovers.  I don't really care what they do with this as long as it's well executed.  Seeing how the WWE Universe is an entity unto itself, there's no telling how anything will go or if it will even make sense so, all I'm aiming for is to be entertained.  A good match will do me fine because chances are it won't matter much come tomorrow (^_~)  Funny tweets get retweeted and don't strain yourselves for a Favorite.  Let that come naturally. See You in a Bit, -Nicole Alexis.

BEEN SOME TIME SINCE I’VE GOTTEN RAW…

Image
Guess a little taste wouldn’t hurt (^_~)   Evening Enthusiasts! Yes, the pull of everyday living has been a little strong for me of late but now I think I’ve found some breathing room.   So, I figured I could take a gander at one of my well-documented guilty pleasures.   Now, just ‘cause I haven’t been watching doesn’t mean I haven’t checked in on what’s going on.   Apparently, Mr. Seth Rollins has succumbed to a knee injury and isn’t due back until sometime next year.   Pity, because it snarls up the plans for Survivor Series.   Blessing in disguise?...We’ll see.   Wouldn’t fully count on it but, I’ve certainly been surprised before.   Anyway, in the meantime, let’s see how this WWE Universe contends with the curveballs Life continually throws.   Funny tweets get retweeted and any real gems that make it through, may just become a Favorite. See You in a Bit, -Nicole Alexis.

Feeling RAW? Why Not Watch Some (^_~)…

Image
Greetings Enthusiasts! I’ve been away but not away, you know. I’ve been watching but not tweeting. Other things continue to grab my attention but the action has been all right. I’ve been impressed with the Divas, certainly. A feminine revolution definitely appears to be in the works. As for everyone else…well, I just hope they’re having fun. Not much to work with of late but that happens in the WWE Universe. Let’s see how they continue to string things together as we lead up to Hell in a Cell. Funny tweets get retweeted and a Favorite certainly gets the same. See You in a Bit, -Nicole Alexis.

I Can Do Some SMACKDOWN...

Image
How's about you? (^_~) How's it going Enthusiasts?  Well, I've been better but I shan't complain.  It could certainly be worse, of that I'm sure.  But enough of me.  So, we've got this "big match" with Big Show and Brock "Gun Jack" Lesnar coming up and I can honestly say I have no plans to watch.  Yet, I'll catch whatever news that trickles through on the Twitters or somewhere.  I'm not expecting glowing reports. As for the night's events *shrug* the spoilers don't give a way much though some of it is predictable but, what isn't these days?  I suppose the real news that's been circulating, and not just through the online communities, is the flailing ratings that RAW has been bringing in.  Well, it's nothing like good ol'lack of interest to get feet held to fire.  Let's see if Creative can get some solid juices flowing that gets us interested in watching these matches.  I'm curious as to what they&

Oh That's Right...RAW Will Soon Be Upon Us...

Image
What can we expect this evening, Enthusiasts? Oh, I'm sure much of the usual.  Some heavy pushing for this supposedly exciting match between Brock Lesnar and the Big Show this weekend, I'm sure.  Wow, that one seems like an act of desperation.  With no real lead up or attachment to any loose plot in action, I'm guessing it's just supposed to be a spectacle but of what, I don't really want to know.  I hope they have a lot of filler that evening 'cause I can't see that match going more than 20 minutes or being all that fun to watch for that matter. In any case, the prep is now for Hell in a Cell which I am comfortably lukewarm about.  I took a little break last week, skipping the TweetFest but now I'm getting back into the flow of things...see if the WWE spits out anything interesting.  We shall see as always, Enthusiasts.  Funny tweets get retweeted and who knows, a Favorite may just come along after all (^_~) See You in a Bit, -Nicole Alexis.

After a Night of Champions, We Get Back to Being RAW...

Image
Evening Enthusiasts, Well, in terms of Michael Bay, I'd say Night of Champions came in at a solid Armageddon .  Mainly due to the Father-Daughter bonding in the form of Charlotte winning the Divas Title and Ric Flair showing his emotional pride.  Have to say it got to me a bit. Very well sold.  As for everything else, well it was solid.  Nothing jaw-dropping, though it is nice to have Dad (Kane) back but I'd prefer him in the suit and tie.  He can be as mean as he wants, let's just not forget that the man's pushing 50.  As I've said before, he looks great but I liked the Korporate transformation because, realistically, it's the next logical step and it keeps Dad in the game a few more years.  I'm sure he'll suit back up before long. Anyway, let's see what keeps, what reverts back and whatever the hell else that might happen.  Funny tweets get retweeted and if someone spins straw into a "Favorite" well, they may just have to get some so

Could this Be a True Night of Champions?...

Image
Meh, it's possible but yet again, feels best to keep expectations low.  We Enthusiasts are enthusiasts by default in many cases and so, we complain but accept more often than not because, when you think about it...it all doesn't really matter.  Of course, we'd love to see a well-crafted product in the WWE but the underlying beauty of it lies in its slap-dashedness.  It's like a live-action Michael Bay flick.  All you need are tits, ass and explosions and you got yourself a movie.  The only difference is there's a little wrasslin' mixed in when it comes to this extravaganza.  Hey, I love a good slam-bam action flick.  I know exactly what I'm getting into and expect no Oscar-worthy performances outside of maybe special effects.   This is how I generally approach the PPVs.   Even grander spectacles that I, in theory, have to pay for.   And so, I'll judge this evening in terms of Michael Bay films.  Plot may have plenty to be desired but with enough bells,

SMACKDOWN? Only If Someone Deserves It (^_~)

Image
Greetings Enthusiasts! Well, let me just say that last year's season premiere was WAY better, hands-down, which doesn't make for an inspiring lead up to Night of Champions.  Spoilers for Smackdown don't tell too much better of a tale but we'll see.  I will also say that I do like how Charlotte is manifesting in the Divas Division.  Though done in on RAW  by some dastardly "Twin Magic", she sold her performance well and I can now start to see what all the buzz is about. Now, if they could just get some more Divas that actually look like they can kick your ass, we'd really be going but, one step at a time.  Until then, let us take in our "Go-Home" showing and keep those expectations low.  Funny tweets get retweeted and we'll just see if a Favorite rears its head. See You in a Bit, -Nicole Alexis.

Can't Create Champions Without Getting RAW from Time to Time...

Image
Evening Enthusiasts! The flavor of the month is Night of Champions and we're now in "Go-Home" territory.  As is often the case, I'm not really sure what to expect.  The past PayPerViews have been at least entertaining so I haven't felt the need to feel cheated yet set-up, as per usual, has plenty to be desired.  'Tis the crux of this genre I fear.  The slapdash nature of it gives you the same in terms of performance and product more often than not.   The question then becomes, is that the point?  Perhaps we ask too much.  Perhaps we should revel in the fact that in the WWE Universe, just about anything can go...if you at least make it watchable and hit your marks. (^_~)   Anyway, let's see what they come up with to get us interested this time around. Funny tweets get retweeted and if a Favorite arrives, a Favorite arrives. See You in a Bit, -Nicole Alexis.

See, Now We Can Do Some SMACKDOWN....

Image
You know, in moderation (^_~) Greetings Enthusiasts! How is everyone doing?  Well, I can't entirely complain, especially since this week's SmackDown appears to have some fun bits to anticipate given the spoilers.  I'm always up for a good time.  Aren't you?  Who doesn't like a little premeditated drama?  Funny tweets get retweeted and we'll be patient when it comes to Favorites. Don't want to ruin the integrity of the content. See You in a Bit, -Nicole Alexis.

It's a Little RAW Tonight...

Image
But that shouldn't last. As They say, that which does not kill us, makes us stronger (^_~) Greetings Enthusiasts! Yes, I have taken a minor leave of absesnce due to other distractions but those having abated I return to this WWE fair. Strangely get the feeling I didn't miss much; beauty of this genre, really.  You never really need to know what's going on. Besides, it's generally easy to piece together anyway. So, let's see how the preliminary lead-up to Night of Champions fares. Funny tweets get retweeted and in the event of Favorite, the whole world will know of that too. See You in a Bit, -Nicole Alexis.

Let Us Feast Upon a SummerSlam SMACKDOWN...

Image
Evening Enthusiasts! Well, that darn busy schedule kept me partially aware of this week's RAW  but now I have some breathing room to get a little caught up and set for Sunday's SummerSlam!  4 hour spec-ta-larrrr, I'm hearing they're gonna have.  Oi.  Well, I'll have plenty of "distractions" to keep it all interesting.  Not to say that I'll be bored, I'm just gonna treat it like any other epic event.  I'm going to ease myself into a inebriated stupor and chase it with food coma (^_~)  Get the feeling plenty of you will do the same.  But, before we get into that, let's get into the Smackdown mood, shall we?  Funny tweets get retweeted and somewhere out there, a Favorite awaits... See You in a Bit, -Nicole Alexis.

Let's See What SMACKDOWN Comes Up With...

Image
Shall we (^_~) Hello Enthusiasts!  I hope this Thursday finds you well.  So, I found this weeks  RAW  delightfully entertaining.  I have to note that I like how this Stephen Amell vs. Stardust little feud is coming together.  I don't watch  Arrow  and know very little about this man but I appreciate how he's not afraid to get in there and throwdown.  That's how we do it around here.  Nice to see he's got some chops. Anyway, you know the drill.  Funny tweets get retweeted and a Favorite may or may not make an appearance...wouldn't hold my breath, though. See You in a Bit, -Nicole Alexis.

It's Monday Night So, Let's Get RAW...

Image
Greetings Enthusiasts! Well, I've been spotty on my watching but I'm slowly getting back into the swing of things.  Hmm, a little bit of drama during the house shows this past week, huh.  Maybe it's a sign (^_~)  Well, some of us are more cantankerous than others yet, that doesn't allow for bad behavior.  We get a bad enough rap as it is.  Let's try to keep each other from getting worse reps around town...wherever it may be.   In any case, so we're gearing up for SummerSlam are we?  Hmm, curious as always but keeping expectations low.  Let's see how tonight's RAW starts the buildup.  Funny tweets get retweeted & mayhaps we'll be graced with a Favorite?  We shall see. See You in a Bit, -Nicole Alexis.

RAW You Say?...Hmmm, Could Be Fun...

Image
Greetings Enthusiasts! Yes, I've missed a week due to other commitments but, now I'm freed up and I have my TV back!  I believe I mentioned a few posts back how the Powers That Be conspired to render me cable-less with a sudden leak, that led to the ceiling being partially gutted and my TV removed.  I feared it would have to be replaced but The Gods are kind and spared it from any permanent damage.  And so, it's back to originally scheduled programming (^_~).   From the tidbits I could gather, it definitely looks like the WWE is going back to brass tacks and focusing more on people actually wrestling at the moment and I find this pleasing.  That is what we're all gathered for in the first place, right?  That and having fun watching people beat each others' asses.  Call it a safe outlet.  Funny tweets get retweeted and we'll see if someone comes up with some genius for a Favorite. See You in a Bit, -Nicole Alexis.

Could Be an Interesting SMACKDOWN....

Image
Could be, Enthusiasts (^_~) How's everyone doing.  Well, spoilers speak an intriguing tale.  I think everyone can agree that the brawl that went down on RAW this week was one of the best they've had in a good, long time.  Enjoyed it thoroughly!  I doubt we'll get anything that fun but maybe the in-ring work will keep us interested to counter.  Funny tweets get retweeted and a Favorite comes if a Favorite comes. See You in a Bit, -Nicole Alexis.

From BATTLEGROUND to RAW - What Stays What Goes?...

Image
Evening Enthusiasts! The East Coasters are settling down to see the fallout from yesterday and I have to say, I kinda lost it when The Undertaker made his appearance.  Even with the photo confirmations floating around, I definitely squealed when he came out.  The man has stage presence, what can I say.  Now, the speculation continues as to how things will proceed.  Can't say that I really care, as long as it's interesting (^_~)  Funny tweets get retweeted and we won't be pushy with potential Favorites. See You in a Bit, -Nicole Alexis.

Let Us Prepare the BATTLEGROUND...

Image
How's Everyone Doing? Well, I hope.  So, Enthusiasts we are gathered here today to enjoy the BattleGround pay-per-view and like in my last post, there's a lot speculation circulating but, when is that not the case.  I'll be tweeting and watching.  Care to join me?  A little humor makes anything fun, right (^_~) Funny tweets will get retweeted and who knows...someone may just impress me and get favorited too.  We shall see. See You in a Bit, -Nicole Alexis.

Ah Yes...Soon There Will Be SMACKDOWN...

Image
Greetings Enthusiasts, Well, with BattleGround the flavor of the month there's been a lot of online chatter but, I haven't really gotten worked up for it TV wise.  Ryback's out with a bad staph infection to the knee and there's speculation that The Undertaker may make an appearance.  That is motivating but is there any truth to it?  Judging by the SmackDown spoilers, we won't be given much aside from the usual so, I suppose we'll just wait and see.  *Shrug*  In the meantime, funny tweets get retweeted and some day, I'll be granted a Favorite and I will retweet it as well.  Happy watching! See You in a Bit, -Nicole Alexis.

Back in the Saddle - So Let's Get RAW...

Image
Evening Enthusiasts, As I'm sure you've noticed, I've been decidedly preoccupied with the goings-on of this year's ComicCon and though I didn't get to see the biggest celebs or sit in on the juiciest panels, I had myself a grand ol'time if somewhat low-key in comparison to some.  Well, it appears that there are those who would prefer it if my attention isn't spread too thinly (^_~)  I guess I can oblige to a point. In any case, I am now returning to my usual standard programming and that brings us to the BattleGround "Go-Home" rounds to set us up for this Sunday.  Like I said, I haven't been paying too much attention but now that I have to return to "normal" I'll see if my appetite is whetted any.  Who's with me?  Funny tweets get retweeted and we'll just leave the door open for any Favorites that might walk through. See You in a Bit, -Nicole Alexis.

& There's SMACKDOWN Too...

Image
Evening Enthusiasts, Man, this was a full day.  I marked out the Comic Con for this year and...I think I can take it (^_~).  Strangely, getting back into the thick of things is like riding a bike.  It's like I've never left.  I can't be all over the swag tables like I used to be, though.  No place to keep all the crap but it's exactly what I expected so far.  There was some cool surprises and some comforting standards.  I think I'll enjoy these next few days and Friday and Saturday are gonna be "double-header" days, I've decided.  I'll start off at the Con and then party after the main floor shuts down.  Downtown and the Gaslamp are all lit up with the influx of activity and so, I don't see why I can't get my feet a little wet. Yet, in the meantime, let's get back to "wrassling" shall we.  As usual, funny tweets will get retweeted and I'm just too busy for Favorites but if one shows, it won't be turned away. See

Oh Yeah...I Guess I Could Get a Little RAW Tonight...

Image
Greetings Enthusiasts! It feels like ages since I've got some good ol'wrassling in.  I've been hearing about the Beast in the East showing and the like but as for watching any, it's been since Smackdown .  I wouldn't really say I'm jonesing for it but it feels surprisingly absent.  I must admit I've been absorbed by other things, one of those things being COMIC-CON!!!!    Some of you may remember when I announced my badge purchase well, the time is now upon us!  I'll be going all 4 days and so my blog will have a Comic-Con 2015 page where I'll post my pics.  I have no idea what to expect.  I've been telling my friends and colleagues that I'm gonna treat it like "Nerd Vegas".  What happens there, stays there...for the most part (^_~).  But I digress.  The matter of the moment is RAW .  I'm not sure if I'll be able to get a look at Smackdown this week since Thursday is the opening day for Comic-Con but, I'll catch wh

Blog Changes...

Image
Greetings Enthusiasts, After a long think, I've decided to cut waaaay back on the blogging.  Life is just getting in the way too much and I'm having less and less time for it.  Part of me laments this but, meh...it's not like this stuff is all that important.  Frivolities are usually first to go when it comes to setting priorities and so goes the blog but, I'll still tweet and watch if things stay interesting.  I had a lot of fun and I hope some of these ideas don't go to complete waste (^_~) Guess we'll see.  Funny tweets get retweeted and perhaps some day, I'll get that long awaited Favorite. See You in a Bit, -Nicole Alexis (^_~)

Let Us See What SMACKDOWN Offers Up Tonight...

Image
Greetings Enthusiasts, I know my presence has been spotty of late but it should be coming back to normal soon.  Just know I've never been a fan of drama.  I'm glad the bit I've been sucked into is dying down.  In any case, let's see how tonight's episode keeps things interesting. I've been digging the improvements of late.  It's beginning to get a lot of fun again.  Let's hope it stays this way.  Funny tweets get retweeted and who knows...a Favorite may just show (^_~) See You in a Bit, -Nicole Alexis.

Seriously This Time, I'll Get a Post Up for SMACKDOWN (^_~)....

Image
Sorry Enthusiasts, With my busy workday schedge & these crazy people in my life all messed  up, I've been detained yet again when it comes to blog-itude.  Trust me, I'd rather be blogging but bills needing to be paid and such, what's a girl to do?  Well, wish me luck and I hope to post again come Friday. Peace Be With You, -Nicole Alexis.

All Right, This Time for RAW I'm Serious...

Image
Evening Enthusiasts, You must forgive me.  I've been sucked into a nasty bit of drama, not of my own making.  Long story short, some people are stupid but think they're smart.  In any case, that is why I haven't been as up to date with my postings of late but hopefully for this RAW , I may just be able to get back to my punctual self.  Let's keep the fingers crossed, shall we.  I've never been a fan of drama of not the fun kind.  So, let's see if this week's RAW can lift my spirits, shall we?  Funny tweets get retweeted and we'll just not speak of a Favorite but I'll let you know if it comes. See You in a Bit, -Nicole Alexis (^_~)

Getting Back on Track for SMACKDOWN!...

Image
Evening Enthusiasts, I hope this Thursday is treating you well.  You have to forgive me.  I been decidedly detained by other matters.  Rest assured, they aren't predominantly mine but others appear to value my assistance. In any case,  I've been quite distracted but I feel the matter is getting under control and things can now return to some state of normalcy.   Nevertheless, this week's RAW  was surprisingly refreshing.  It appears the WWE is slowly getting its balls back and I like it!  The grittier matches and more plausible storylines are making it fun again, as it should be.  That's why we're all here, remember (^_~)  Funny tweets get retweeted and if a Favorite comes a Favorite comes and you'll all know it 'cause it's been retweeted too. See You in a Bit, -Nicole Alexis.

GIVING IT TO YOU RAW…What Happened Last Night (June 15th, 2015)

Image
We’re in Fallout territory now, Enthusiasts as we see the aftermath of the events of Money in the Bank. To be honest, Money in the Bank was my favorite PPV so far. I might even like it more than this year’s Wrestlemania.   The matches were compelling and fun yet, newbie friendly.   I introduced a few compatriots and they were thoroughly entertained and so kudos WWE!   You appear to be finding your way…finally. To begin, we find ourselves in Cleveland , Ohio and Seth Rollins having retained the Heavyweight Title, Rollins is decidedly smug as he struts down the ramp, beloved belt on his shoulder.   If you haven’t noticed, he’s kind of a big deal.   Good people of Cleveland , I don’t think you know just how awesome I am.   Well, just let me tell you that given my superb performance, it’s pretty much official.   And in my efforts to be my best, I just want to thank those who helped me be the best that I could be. Rollins pulls out a list. *Ahem* Yes, I would like to thank

Money in the Bank Fallout RAW!...

Image
Hey there, Enthusiasts! Money in the Bank has passed and I wasn't really surprised with the results as I was with the action.  I went over to a friend's and made a small event of it this time around so I wasn't as focused but I will say I thought the Ladder Match was the most exciting.  Though Owens vs. Cena and Rollins vs. Ambrose were solid matches, something about the Ladder Match just got the blood going.  I can atest to that because the crowd I was watching with were a mixed assortment of viewers.  About half were kinda familiar.  2 people, me included, knew what was up and the rest were completely oblivious outside of knowing the genre exists. They were thouroughly entertained and the matches were fun.  Couldn't really complain, which is great (^_~) If only it could be that way all the time.   In any case, RAW viewing is gonna be a little different for me on the West Coast this week.  A sudden leak from the ceiling dripped water onto my usual viewing unit and s
