RAW Has One Last Hurrah on Cable TV...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts? Getting ready for New Year’s Eve? I’m surrounded by family so, it’s not going to get that nuts but it’s the first time in a long time I've celebrated with them. We’re usually elsewhere so, I’ll make the most of being together.  As for the Wrestling World, there are a few things to talk about. Should give us a decent post. Ready to get into it? Here we go. So, in the Realm of AEW Edge/Adam Copeland made his triumphant return and as expected he set his sights on Jon Moxley and the Death Riders. I knew Copeland would be all over him. I didn’t even remember that he has no patience for the SHIELD in general. Now, Uncle Edge looks about as good as he can but we can’t forget that he’s pushing 600 years old. Though FTR have his back, will he be able to hold up and make a difference? Hard to say but we got a front runner for who may go get the taser to handle this. Things should remain palatable with Uncle Edge back in the mix. He’s got enough TV experien...

RAW Rings in 2023...

Happy New Year, Enthusiasts!   It’s 2023 and we’re about to get a taste of what that means for the WWE Universe. So far, it’s hard to gauge. With what’s going around, it looks like some skeletons may fall out of the closet first. There are some engaging rumors floating around to start off this week. Let’s see what’s going on, shall we?   So, what’s going on with Kurt Angle? It appears his ex-wife, Karen Jarrett is ready to tell all. Apparently Angle stepped out a few times back in the day. Not sure where this is all coming from but I can’t help my penchant for gossip. This seems a little after the fact, though. Did they recently split? Because this is the mark of a woman scorned. Perhaps this is a late money grab but I’m not sure how many people really care. I’m not exactly surprised that anyone had an affair at this point. I’m sure it was par for the course at a certain time. The only one who would be a jaw dropper is someone like John Cena. Anyone else comes off like...

SmackDown Opens 2021...

Happy New Year, Enthusiasts!   Here we are to inaugurate this year 2021. Given last year, most would say there’s nowhere else to go but up. Let’s hope this rings true. In meantime, let’s see what’s going on in the world of wrestling.   Well, it was emotional but AEW held a wonderful tribute episode for Brodie Lee/Luke Harper. Word is that WWE was gracious and chose to let AEW have first dibs on honoring him, since that’s the promotion he was with. It was very touching. Moments like this can be very catalytic. In a way, Mr. Lee could become a sort of martyr, though unintentional. How he touched everyone has caused a sort of sea change. That mixed with the impact of the pandemic could prompt people to rethink their lives. Seeing how he affected so many, I wouldn’t be surprised that his passing will change how many handle their careers and hold their professional interactions. No doubt it will all be for the better.   Though it is sad it took his passing to bring hom...

A Happy New Year From RAW to You...

Happy New Year, Enthusiasts! May 2019 be filled with numerous successful endeavors.   Hopefully, 2018 didn’t disappoint.   As for me, I’ve had better years but I’ve certainly had worse as well.   I’m looking forward to 2019, actually.   Get the feeling there’s gonna be a lot of new changes.   I’m looking forward to whatever this New Year has got.   I’m ready! In any case, they’ve pre-taped tonight’s offering so that everyone gets to have some fun tonight or at the very least, just get some rest.   What looks interesting from the previews is a Steel Cage match between Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre.   Also, it appears there will be a mini Battle Royale to decide who will be the “#1 Contender” for the Intercontinental Title and after that or later in the night, that contender will face Dean Ambrose for the title.   Seems a little unfair to the #1 Contender but that may be the point. Other agenda items of note come in the form of...

SDLive's New Year's Wishes Are Better than RAW's...

Hello Enthusiasts! How does it feel being back at work, if that’s your lot?  Have to say, as much as I love being leisurely, I don’t mind having something to actually do.  Not that I missed the grind but I’m not complaining, let’s just say that.  So, last night’s RAW wasn’t bad so much as underappreciated I felt.  This time around, I think the merriment of NYE left the crowd weary.  Though there were some high points, the crowd certainly could have been better.  So, Christmas show, yes! New Year’s Day, not so much.  Kinda figures.  Sure plenty were nursing hangovers. In any case, hopefully tonight’s SmackDown crowd is more up for this evening’s action.  Looks like AJ Styles will have himself some ginger beer in the form of Sami Zayn.  The Usos have another case for the likes of Benjamin, Gable & Associates.  And will see how this US Title tournament shapes up.  Anyone know what the deal is with Dolph Ziggler?...

RAW Has Plenty of New Year Wishes for You!...

Happy New Year, Enthusiasts! I don’t know about you but I thought 2017 was a doozy.  No 2016 of course, but I’ve certainly had better years.  Let’s just say 2018 feels like it’s gonna be a good one.  Let’s cross our fingers and see if there’s any truth to that. So, R AW keeps it going through this usual Holiday for our entertainment pleasure and we’ll see if they can keep with the Quality over Quantity method as they opted for the Christmas show.   I was really surprised with the turnout and with many of us off but set for work tomorrow, I wouldn’t be surprised if plenty settle down to watch tonight as well.  What’s penciled in on the docket has Brock “Gun Jack” Lesnar needing to make use of his hangover tonic so he can make an appearance tonight.  Samoa Joe will keep his beef going with Roman Reigns and threatens to strip him of the Intercontinental Title.  Cedric Alexander will also make a bid for the Cruiserweight Championship a...
