Well, it wasn’t quite the “Army of Darkness” upgrade that it usually is but, I enjoyed this week’s Smackdown.   There were a lot of things being tested out and the fact that improvements are being attempted is promising.   Better than just sticking to a whole lot of shit that just doesn’t work, that is for sure.   I think we can, not so much rest assured but be somewhat optimistic about our road to WrestleMania.   I’m not expecting to be utterly blown away, though it’d be nice, but I think we will get our money’s worth at the very least so we should generally simmer down and try to enjoy the ride.   No doubt it’ll get bumpy from time to time but, isn’t that the fun of the WWE Universe? No day is ever the same, repetitive at times but always different. Evening, Enthusiasts!  How's everyone doing?  Well, this has been a little gossip filled week, hasn't it. The real question, are some of us just starting trouble or is this next level kayfabe?  Who knows but as They say, all publicity is good publicity. Fast Lane has come and gone and we’re more or less back at the beginning in a lot of senses, Enthusiasts.  With Randy Orton back in televised action, we can just about pick up where we left off when Roman Reigns had to go on the Disabled List with an “incarcerated hernia”.  And with the Heavyweight Championship Title match settled as well, we can all focus on the hijinks and drama set to ensue on the way to WrestleMania.  RAW did its usual Pay Per View follow-up where much of  what transpired on Sunday comes up for review and in some cases gets reversed. I would say there wasn’t too much of the latter but interesting addenda have been introduced to the mix and we may have ourselves quite the little mélange for March, 29 th . W e open in Nashville, Tennessee to a livelier crowd than the one we had in Memphis and to greet us right off the bat, The Viper, Randy Orton.   Orton is a little miffed this evening.   Yeah-yeah, it’s great he’s back but he’s still gnawing on that shit

It appears that going in blind seems to help when it comes to the WWE.   All I knew was the card going into Fast Lane.   All the promos and lead up matches would indicate nothing in regards to the quality of the evening and with my expectations decidedly at “0” all the wrestlers had to do was perform well and I have to say there really wasn’t a bad match.   There may have been spots of undisputed disinterest but the WWE can’t really be too surprised at that.   The product has been more or less mediocre for years and if the prime directive is just to get asses in the seats as opposed to keep them entertained, they should be glad they got at least that.   Yet, they can’t expect too much growth and can simply hope to maintain with that tactic. It’s these simple truths that I hope prompts the WWE Creative team to do what they should have been doing and sit down and really flesh out a long-term game plan that validates all the pomp and circumstance.   We may have settled the WrestleMa
