How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Welcome to the weekend. Well, most of us know that this weekend is essentially for AEW as their All Out PPV is set for this Saturday. Meanwhile, WWE will be placing the final pieces for Money in the Bank down for the next couple of weeks. There’s not anything too exciting going on. A few talking points here and there so this post shouldn’t go for too long. Let’s get into it so we can get to our own pursuits.   We’re going to start in the rogue city-state of MLW this time around. Hearing that they finally got a TV deal with Tubi, I decided to check it out. It’s only an hour after all. It’s definitely low-rent programming but personally, I still like their content more than AEW’s. Something about the no-frills, outcast sensibility resonates with me. How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Welcome to another week. Well, it’s fairly quiet on the wrestling front at the moment so this should be a short post. But it does appear that the future should provide quite a bit to chat about 😉 Let’s just take it one day at a time.   Over in the Realm of AEW, the Riders of Death had another big night. Our Man Jon Moxley had main event duty while PAC tried on a more concentrated version of his persona. Seems like the masses don’t mind this particular focus.   PAC faced a guy from Alabama by the name of Adam Priest who put up a decent fight. They’re both stocky gentlemen so, at a glance it appeared well matched. Priest did what he could but it seemed pretty clear that PAC is angling for the next level which is fine. He’s got the respect and the skill to back it up so, you’ll hear no complaints from me. How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Happy Friday! It’s not a particularly good one for me, just mixing up the greetings. The Wrestling World has a few grumblings but nothing is rattling the windows, so to speak but I got some stuff I can talk about so let’s get into to it. Shouldn’t take up too much of your time.   So, in the Realm of AEW, I would say that the future is coinciding with The Future if I’m reading things right. The match/segment order seemed to focus on the key players. The opener had Papa Christian and Uncle Edge in action. They should initiate Strike 2 when it’s time. Then Jon Moxley took a moment to speak to Will Ospreay in monologue in a backstage promo flanked by both PAC and Gabe “The Hooligan” Kidd. Nice use of vocab words, shall I say. Told ya he’s smarter than he looks.   The promo in itself was “telling” in a few ways. I appreciate how Mox is questioning whether Ospreay is really ready for the Big Time. How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Welcome to a new week! So, there’s not that much going on in the Wrestling World but there are a few points that grabbed my interest so, we’ll chat a little about that but this shouldn’t go on for too long. Not much going on after all. In any case, let’s get into it.   In the Realm of AEW, last week’s Collision had plenty of Riders of Death action. Jon Moxley roughed up a gutsy Mike “Speedball” Bailey. The Dogs borrowed PAC to take out the Bang Bang Gang and Daniel Garcia finally picked up a W in the realm’s Memorial Battle Royale for Andy “The Butcher” Williams.   However, what stuck out was the “pep talk” Mox gave Clark “Pantene ProV” Connors. Connors has great hair, so far that’s the most that I’ve noticed of him but he runs with The Dogs and had some questions as to why Gabe “The Hooligan” Kidd is taking orders from Mox. How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Welcome to the weekend! So, there are a few things we can chat about tonight. I’ll admit they primarily concern the Realm of AEW but there’ll be some spillover into the WWE Universe. Nothing too shocking, just my take as usual but I could get a little carried away so, if you got other things you want to do, you may want to circle back. It’s my blog after all, so I’m not gonna hold back. Ready? Here we go.   In the realm, we’re seeing how the future will take shape but first a couple tributes were the focal points for this week’s Dynamite. I heard that this show was going to be a tribute show for Rebel Heart initially. She’s a lady wrestler who is stricken with ALS , but I don’t know much about her. I was shocked to see that the disease has already done a number on the poor dear. She’s wheelchair bound and is losing the ability to speak. My heart goes out to her. I can see it’s a hard disease to watch someone suffer through, especially if...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Welcome to a new week! Most of us in the States have today off so I hope this is a leisurely start for you if that is your lot. If not, I hope this week is a good one for you. Life carries on as you can see.   It’s relatively quiet in the Wrestling World as it has suffered a loss in the passing of “The Butcher” real name Andy Williams. I only knew of him so I don’t have any real words to say outside of offering condolences. I think his passing resonates more given he suffered the fatal medical emergency at a show. It reminds us that these Titans are mortal and that none of us are guaranteed anything in this world. Our next breath can be our last so proceed with some respect and consideration. Get those health check-ups as well. Prevent the tragedy if at all possible.   As for this weekend’s action, it was subdued I would say. How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Happy Sunday! Hopefully you got Monday off. If not, there’s no shame in catching the show later. Since this is a short card, I’m only looking at 2 matches. Everyone else will just have to earn their keep and I’m pretty sure they’ll be able to do that. So, let’s get into it.   The first match I’m looking at appears set to have all sorts of hijinks as Lil’ Yachty tries to stay alive for 5 minutes against Baron Corbin. Given the “training video” Yachty debuted on this week’s SmackDown , it’s hard to say Yachty takes this seriously. I’m thinking he enlists local sports talent either from the Atlanta Hawks or the Atlanta Falcons to do the dirty work for him or this proves to be 5 minutes of comedy while Yachty runs around the ring and perhaps the arena trying to evade Corbin.   I don’t mind either as long as it’s entertaining. How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Happy 3-day Weekend for those in the United States. So, it is an interesting time in the Wrestling World. AEW appears to be proving that they’re no flash in the pan and may very well be here to stay as the promotion for real pro-wrestling. I think this is fine because as we all should know, WWE isn’t the best place for pro-wrestling in its purest form. It’s more about sensationalism and “fisticuffs” I would say but I prefer it so, no complaints here.   In any case, after a successful All In, the Realm of AEW had its Fallout and I would say it was respectable. They overran their 2-hour allocation and from the looks of it, it was simply allowed. I didn’t see anything that specifically needed more time. So, a nitpicker could call it “sloppy” but if Warner/Discovery doesn’t have a problem with it, that’s just unnecessary bitching.   I will say that it’s looking like “The Hooligan” Gabe Kidd is going to be “a problem” going forward.
