SmackDown Fallout ─ Money in the Bank 2026

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Happy Friday! It’s a windy one in my neck of the woods. Hope yours is going splendidly. So, there are some things we can talk about in the Wrestling World. Not that much, so I shouldn’t strain your eyes but I’ll try not to ramble too much. I know we all have other things we’d rather be doing.   As usual, we’ll start in the Realm of AEW. They’re gearing up for their WrestleDream PPV tomorrow so they combined Dynamite and Collision into one supershow as they tend to do to give everyone a chance to rest up. Naturally, I keep an eye on The Future but respectfully simply observe for the future for the time being. What I saw was quite promising.   As those familiar with the goings-on in the realm, Jon Moxley is set to face Big Mean Mark Davis. Though the story of his nickname “Dunkzilla” makes sense by the look of him, I’m going to refer to him as someone with no idea of the backstory ‘cause that’s essentially who I am.   I d...

RAW Fallout ─ Money in the Bank 2026

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   How’d you like Money in the Bank? Yeah, it wasn’t the most exciting PPV but it was cleanly executed, for the most part, I’ll give them that. There have been worse so, I’m not going to harp on it too much but I can understand the general chatter of it being “subpar” but only in its lack of creativity. I’ll get into that later. It was a sort of eventful weekend so, let’s have the discussion. I agree with some of the sentiments out there but not all.   We’ll start off in the Independent Wilderness as I was introduced to the village of House of Glory (HOG) Wrestling this weekend. It popped up in my feed. Mainly due to Tommaso Ciampa taking a little break from AEW to main event counter to this Charles Mason fellow. Not sure the kids know what the moniker references but do your research. The real dude was…something. I can see why Mason aligns himself with such company, you could definitely say he plays “psychopathic”.   Naturally, I wa...

Money in the Bank 2026 - Matches of Interest

Image
Happy Money in the Bank, Enthusiasts! It’s kind of a weird time so, how to approach this is a little lost on me so, I’m just gonna keep it simple. That’s what you’re supposed to do, right? I’ll be honest. I’m only looking at the Money in the Bank Matches but I’ll give Honorable Mention to Roman Reigns and LA Knight. They get opening duties and that alone speaks volumes. Personally, I’m thinking it gets DQ’d somehow. I hope Knight at least gets some respectable time in. Though, he’s at the end of career, doesn’t mean he can’t be a contender. However, would he actually be?  It’s possible that Knight can win but it’d have to be a fair fight. In that case, I don’t mind interference. We can safely assume this game is rigged. So, how does Knight save face? I’m expecting interference from someone like Solo Sikoa. He could be so about overtaking Roman Reigns, he loses the plot. Yeah, Reigns “saved him” but maybe he likes how 946 rolls? Ain’t nobody safe! Maybe that’s what it takes to take ...

SmackDown Breathes a Sigh of Relief as Hurricane Isias Misses MITB...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Happy Friday! This wasn’t a bad week for me but it’s just nice to have a couple days to relax. Well, this weekend will have me occupied but at least not with the usual work. As for the Wrestling World, I would say it was a fairly quiet week. Nothing dropped my jaw and given the recent happenings, I kinda appreciate it. That said, this post should be to the point so, I won’t keep you long.   We’ll start in the Realm of AEW who generally went on a field trip this week. They took themselves to France and got to experience the joy that is the French Crowd. Per usual, my focus was on the Riders of Death. Though I am not going to speak directly on The Future for the rest of this month, that doesn’t mean I’m not monitoring its progress.   I noticed that PAC has been “canonized” as they appear to have started to initiate their entrances by placing a chair and towel in his honor. Jon Moxley even went so far as to perform a brief prayer be...

RAW Checks that Everything Is Ready for Money in the Bank...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Welcome to a new week. There’s not too much going on in the Wrestling World so I shouldn’t go on for too long but I won’t limit myself either. This is like my stream of consciousness blog so, I’ll talk about whatever comes to mind but at the same time, I don’t want to bore anyone who does swing through. I’ll keep to the point, whatever it ends up being.   In the rogue City-State of MLW, there were some interesting action to say the least. The beauty of not watching live means you can fast forward through undesirable bits and that will be any segments including Matt Riddle for me. That said, I didn’t watch much of the opening but I know that Riddle and Karrion Kross are slated for Tag Team action this week. I’ll watch the match but I’m not sitting through anything else with him in it. That’s how I’ll boycott here.   As for the standouts, I got a look at Stardom’s offering in H.A.T.E who are comprised of Rina and Saya Kamitani. The...

SmackDown Respects the Departed but MITB Is Next Week...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Finding some sense of peace? Yeah, it’s going to take some time. We lost a good one. As we all know, life must go on and the Wrestling World is no different. Nevertheless, there isn’t much to report yet, I took look at AEW’s Tribute Show and have some thoughts on how they might proceed and so, let’s just get into it. I shouldn’t take up too much of your time.   The Realm of AEW turned this week’s Dynamite into a tribute show for PAC who we now know as Benjamin Satterley and I have to say I had no idea how much of an impact he had. He seems to have had a “Clark Kent” quality to him in a way. In his day-to-day life, he seemed quiet and mild mannered. Very sweet and humble and just a great person to have around. If you didn’t know what he did for a living, you’d might have thought he was an Olympic Weightlifter or something. You would never have guessed he transformed into the Bastard PAC on a weekly basis.   His loss gut wrenched ...

RAW Acknowledges the IWC's Need to Mourn...

How Are You Doing, Enthusiasts?   This week starts off on a dreadful note. As you all know Benjamin Satterley, better known as PAC or Neville for those who never watched AEW, has passed. To say I’m shocked is an absolute understatement and the IWC is reeling . Finally, some details are coming out about his passing and they don’t provide much solace other than it’s looking like it wasn’t a suicide but it does allude to something physiological was not right.   Early reports are stating that Satterley was found unresponsive in a car outside a restaurant outside of Chicago. It sounds like he was found by restaurant employees and the authorities were then called to the scene. From what I can gather, it sounds like EMTs were unable to revive him.   I’m a little surprised he was alone. I’m not sure how late this was and I’ve read that he often travels back to England so, perhaps this is his own after-show ritual. It just paints a more realistic picture. Never forget ...
