RAW Enjoys the Quiet...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   It’s another week. I had a mini break last week so I’m looking forward to it. As for the Wrestling World, there isn’t much going on so this will be a short post but I’ll try to make it engaging nevertheless. Let’s get to it.   In the Realm of AEW they did one of their double-headers and pre-recorded last week’s Collision. The only points of note to me were Jack Perry seeming to be ready for the big time. Swerve Strickland may be the one who sees for sure but Perry’s not afraid to put the “money maker” on the line.   This makes me chuckle a little. I’m all for Perry becoming his own man but it leaves the door open for some cheeky asides. If I rode death, I’d be suspicious of any promotional activity with original 90210 stars. Beware Jason Priestley rolling through with some hockey goons 😉 Somebody has to look out for the kid. I'm down to see Priestley's version of going "Wayne Brady" Chappelle Style.   I’ll also give a...

SmackDown Sees What Else Is Going On...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Happy Friday! There are a few things we can chat about but this has been a kinda slow week. It’s only natural to have a lull from time to time. Makes the big events feel bigger. This should keep this a fairly short post so, let’s get into it so we can get on with our weekend. Here we go.   In the Realm of AEW, the focus is on All In at the end of the month. All the action and preparation is geared towards that. This doesn’t have too much to directly do with The Future but that’s all right. There’s plenty of time for that.   What I will say is that MJF is continuing to do his job. He is making it quite clear he can be a dick in his sleep so that’s perfect for executing Strike 1. That’s all it really needs, someone dick enough to do it.   Our Man Moxley doesn’t have any crossover business with MJF or Don Callis at the moment but that could easily change in the months to come. As for now, it looks like Jack “Jungle Boy” Per...

RAW Takes a Moment to Collect Itself...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Welcome to a new week! There’s not much going on at the start so, I can promise a relatively short post but I will say that the future, in general, is looking quite promising. Wrestling seems to be in the process of evolving and I welcome this manifestation. There’s life in the industry yet. Let us observe. In the meantime, let’s just get caught up in the current goings-on, shall we?   In the Realm of AEW, things are building slowly to All In at the end of the month. Last week’s Collision , had some tidbits for the Future as the Riders of Death were in action. What caught my eye was the promo Our Man Moxley cut on the Bang Bang Gang. He doesn’t seem to have a problem with his upcoming opponent, Jack Perry. But that fucking Bang Bang Gang better not cross his path or there’s gonna be all kinds of hell to pay.   With a name like “Bang Bang Gang”, I can understand some dislike but Mox got up to a 7.5 on the Crazy Meter. Dang, what d...

SmackDown Fallout - SummerSlam 2026

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Happy Friday! Well, the Wrestling World is kinda quiet at the moment but that doesn’t mean there’s nothing to talk about. I’ve noticed a couple of things but nothing I can ramble on about for too long so, this shouldn’t be that long of a post. So, let’s just have the chat and get on with our lives, shall we? Here we go.   We’ll start in the Realm of AEW. They had a bit of a field trip this week as they were down in Mexico City for an extended Dynamite. Naturally, I had my eye on The Future. I didn’t see much but that’s okay. There were more important things to establish. There’s plenty of time for The Future to develop and they should take it. What I will say is that there seems to be positivity surrounding it so, I’m glad that it is indeed looking Bright.   As for the action, what I focused on was the opener as we had all Riders of Death on deck for a Fatal-4-Way against Papa Christian, Uncle Edge and the Young Bucks. The Mexico...

RAW Fallout ─ SummerSlam 2026

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   How’d you like SummerSlam? Despite “disappointing” ticket sales, most would say it was a good weekend. Most say Day 2 was better than Day 1 but overall, a solid PPV. Personally, I didn’t expect the roof to blow off with Kevin Owens back in action but I’m happy to see him back. He does stir a good pot.   With the surprise return and the clean main event, my take was just that but I’m not mad at it. I got one right with Baron Corbin besting Trick Williams. I still feel it’s the right move, I just hope Corbin manages to have fun with it. He definitely is playing “no nonsense” this time around but we like to have a good time so, I hope he leaves some room for some levity or at least plays the straight man in some nonsense from time to time. We don’t take it that serious, generally.   The SHEILD homages were plentiful in the lead up and at the end so we’ll see if it goes to Jon Moxley’s head 😉 But it does look like there’s a place l...

SmackDown Kicks Any Stragglers Out for SummerSlam...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Welcome to SummerSlam weekend! So, there’s plenty to talk about in the Wrestling World. AEW prepares for the future while WWE solidifies its own. While they do this, We the Audience have some mixed emotions about the whole affair. Naturally, there are more complaints in the WWE Universe but I may have a theory on that. In any case, let’s get into it. I’ll try not to bore you but I’m gonna say what I’m gonna say.   In the Realm of AEW, things have been interesting, I’ll admit. The Redemption Fallout has produced some intrigue. Though I can comment on much, what I’ll focus on is what gained the most of my attention. With this being SummerSlam Eve, AEW didn’t try to compete so they had back-to-back Dynamite and Collision episodes. We knew that Will Ospreay renouncing his affiliation to the Riders of Death would have repercussions but they weren’t exactly what we were expecting, though PAC would have gladly gone there. What caught my attenti...

RAW Says Go Home for SummerSlam...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   It’s another week and there’s some things to chat about in the Wrestling World. AEW had their Redemption PPV and there are plenty of thoughts. I have my own but they’re less confused because if I didn’t know better, I’d say we’re simply witnessing how The Future will lead into the future. Have no idea what I’m talking about? Good, you shouldn’t. We’re free to comment on execution but for the most part, we should sit back and let it happen. Let me explain…sorta.   Generally speaking, this PPV wasn’t a well-regarded one but I was happy with what I saw. Naturally, I’m concerned with The Future and we got our amuse bouche in the Tag Team Match with Jon Moxley and Will Ospreay pairing up to take on the Young Bucks. The Bucks fared better than I would like to give them credit. Probably tired of people saying they suck. I wasn’t impressed but they executed the technical stuff with a lot more grace than I would have ever given them so, at least t...

SmackDown Tidies Up So We Can Get On with SummerSlam...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Welcome to the weekend. So, there’s not all that much going on in the Wrestling World that I feel the need to talk about but I got a few things to chat about but I’ll try to keep to the point. Want to get to my weekend like everyone else 😉 Let’s dive in, shall we?   Over in the Realm of AEW, they are steadily preparing for the future as they are getting their top talent in place. I heard the match between Darby Allin and Kevin Knight was good so, I checked it out. I concur. It was a fine display. Allin is certainly coming along and I respect and commend the improvement. You can’t say he isn’t working on it.   I’m unfamiliar with Knight but he made a good impression. He’s trying to make it clear that though he is a member of the Don Callis Family, he doesn’t need them to rig the game. He can win on his own. Noted.   I also see that the Callis Family may be getting “too big for its britches” as there appears to be some i...
