How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Welcome to SummerSlam weekend! So, there’s plenty to talk about in the Wrestling World. AEW prepares for the future while WWE solidifies its own. While they do this, We the Audience have some mixed emotions about the whole affair. Naturally, there are more complaints in the WWE Universe but I may have a theory on that. In any case, let’s get into it. I’ll try not to bore you but I’m gonna say what I’m gonna say.   In the Realm of AEW, things have been interesting, I’ll admit. The Redemption Fallout has produced some intrigue. Though I can comment on much, what I’ll focus on is what gained the most of my attention. With this being SummerSlam Eve, AEW didn’t try to compete so they had back-to-back Dynamite and Collision episodes. How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   It’s another week and there’s some things to chat about in the Wrestling World. AEW had their Redemption PPV and there are plenty of thoughts. I have my own but they’re less confused because if I didn’t know better, I’d say we’re simply witnessing how The Future will lead into the future. Have no idea what I’m talking about? Good, you shouldn’t. We’re free to comment on execution but for the most part, we should sit back and let it happen. Let me explain…sorta.   Generally speaking, this PPV wasn’t a well-regarded one but I was happy with what I saw. Naturally, I’m concerned with The Future and we got our amuse bouche in the Tag Team Match with Jon Moxley and Will Ospreay pairing up to take on the Young Bucks. The Bucks fared better than I would like to give them credit. Probably tired of people saying they suck. I wasn’t impressed but they executed the technical stuff with a lot more grace than I would have ever given them so, at least t...

So, there’s not all that much going on in the Wrestling World that I feel the need to talk about but I got a few things to chat about but I’ll try to keep to the point. Want to get to my weekend like everyone else 😉 Let’s dive in, shall we?   Over in the Realm of AEW, they are steadily preparing for the future as they are getting their top talent in place. I heard the match between Darby Allin and Kevin Knight was good so, I checked it out. I concur. It was a fine display. Allin is certainly coming along and I respect and commend the improvement. You can’t say he isn’t working on it.   I’m unfamiliar with Knight but he made a good impression. He’s trying to make it clear that though he is a member of the Don Callis Family, he doesn’t need them to rig the game. He can win on his own. How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Welcome to a new week. So, there’s not much to chat about at the moment. It’s kinda quiet as the Top 2 promotions prepare for bigger things. I believe AEW has it’s Redemption PPV coming up next weekend and WWE has SummerSlam of course after this past weekend’s Saturday Night: Main Event . There are a few speculations hovering around so we’ll chat about that and get into tonight’s action. How’s that sound? Here we go.   The Realm of AEW is relatively quiet as the road to the future is being paved. The goal appears to be get Will Ospreay into “Top Guy” shape but what kind of Top Guy will he be? A Major Face or a Huge Heel? It’s hard to say. I get the feeling he wants to be the “Good Guy” but you should be able to play the villain just the same so, we shall see.   To look at it, I think Omega is going to go out a Face so perhaps Ospreay could have an “Identity Crisis” to start and as the sun sets on Omega’s career, he can come aroun...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Happy Friday! Bed is gonna feel good tonight, I know it. But before that there’s a few things we can discuss concerning the Wrestling World. Most of it isn’t anything new but it should give me at least 1,000 words to type so let’s get on with it. Everyone wants to get to their weekend.   In the Realm of AEW, the pieces for the Future are being subtly laid. I wouldn’t suspect a thing so that’s promising. I can see that a clash for Papa Christian and Uncle Edge could be on the horizon as they have some business with the Riders of Death. Also, I noticed that the showdown between Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay could potentially be derailed by Kevin Knight as Omega and Knight are set to box later in the month. Knight now affiliated with the Don Callis Family could present an opportunity to “screw” Omega over but as I keep saying, that is not necessary just something to keep in mind should they want to supplement Omega’s wrestling lore.   ...

The return of Baron Corbin to the WWE Universe is a delight but we’ll get into that later. There’s not much for me to report on today so, this should be a relatively short post but you know, I can always start rambling. Let’s see where I end up. Here we go.   Over in the Realm of AEW, the groundwork for the future is definitely being laid given what I witnessed on the most recent Collision . As for the Future specifically, I’ll just say Our Man Moxley is starting to posture in a way that’s “strangely familiar”. Uh-oh. Here it comes. I’m sure many have some things to gripe about but when is that not the case. I don’t think there’s been a time there wasn’t someone bitching but it is what it is. In any case, this could go a little long but I hope it’s captivating enough. I’ll try not to bore you. Let’s dive in.   In the Realm of AEW, it would seem that MJF is angling for a bigger part in the Future. After CM Punk returned to wrench the Undisputed Title from Sami Zayn’s hands he posted a face-swapped image of Punk as Hulk Hogan when he did something similar back in the day. He quickly deleted the image but that didn’t stop other posters from picking up on the sentiment and posting their own. How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Well, some stuff went down over the weekend, didn’t it. Guess something had to with it being so quiet. We won’t jump right into it but what I’m gonna talk about may have some correlation. Let’s take a little time and unpack.   So, we’ll start with the curmudgeonly ravings of Jim Cornette who had nothing good to say about WWE or AEW recently. WWE is too manufactured and AEW is full of wannabe jokers no one wants to emulate. What’s a person to do who wants some good old fashioned wrasslin’? Well, that is a good question. Probably stay in the past with the old footage available for consumption.   Most commenters pretty much hit it on the head that Cornette is coming off like the old man that he is here.
