How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Enjoy your weekend? I felt mine was productive. As for the Wrestling World, there’s not a lot going on that’s piqued my interest but we’ve got some stuff to talk about, don’t worry 😉 Without further ado let’s get into it, shall we?   Over in the Realm of AEW, I feel we got some clarification on Jon Moxley’s “status” so to speak. As the Riders of Death in Daniel Garcia, PAC and Wheeler Yuta participated in their version of a 6-Man Tag, Moxley sat in on commentary to talk up his crew and generally lend support. The discourse, to me, made it clear he’s no Face but he’s not exactly a Heel either. I think he’s more or less what he’s always been, Rogue and that’s fine.   I was just pointing out how if he has Face-turned, he’d have to be a better Face and he’s more or less the same as he ever was so if people have grown to appreciate it, I have nothing against it. How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Happy Friday! There’s a lot going on stateside so, expect many of us looking forward to a little escape. The WWE Universe gets another taste of Germany as WWE does its European Tour so that will be a nice change of scene. As for the Wrestling World, there’s not much that caught my attention but there’s enough in play to have a brief discussion. Shall we?   We’ll start in the Realm of AEW as they ease into this “age” of a calmer, gentler Jon Moxley. He took on Shelton Benjamin to see if Benjamin could get himself a shot at the Continental Championship and though Benjamin was the better wrestler, he just couldn’t get the job done in the end. You could say he should have zigged when he zagged so it was the sort of loss where it was understandable if he “kicked himself” afterwards.   Mox was sportsmanly enough to offer a handshake after but he wasn’t completely clean in the match. He did go for the eye poke at one point so…how “Face”...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts? Happy first Monday of the year. Feel any different? I don’t know about you but I’m accepting it a lot more than usual. Maybe because of the impending changes that are on the ever-approaching horizon. Whatever it is, I felt more ready for it than usual. Guess I’ve had enough of the holidays 😉   As for the Wrestling World, there is some minor shuffling. Nothing that shocking but it should give us something to chat about so, let’s get into it. It won’t be that much but we’ll jump around a bit.   We’ll start in the Realm of AEW as we check on the Future. Not much to speak of just yet. It appears Darby Allin means to make good on his new target in PAC. I’ve noticed that he seems a bit absent from the Riders of Death of late. Is that foreshadowing? Everyone is talking about how Claudio Castagnoli will probably be the one to usurp Jon Moxley but could it really be PAC setting up to stage the coup?   I suppose we’ll see but, in the me...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts? Happy New Year! Have no idea what to expect for this one but I have a few reasons to be optimistic. In the meantime, let’s take a little look at what’s going on in the Wrestling World. It’s not much but there’s a few things to talk about. Let’s get into it.  Over in the Realm of AEW, many are trying to wrap their heads around Jon Moxley being a Face. It does appear that the Callis Family is assuming the primary Heel Faction designation and most feel that the Riders of Death in general are still Heels which sets the scene for them turning on Mox at some point but I’m not sure if that’s what the endgame actually is. As of now, Mox appears to be facing some “Karma” more than anything else. As he may have bullied others previously to “make a point” opponents aren’t feeling any restraint to do whatever necessary to get the W. How’s It Going, Enthusiasts? A Merry Monday to you. So, there’s some things to chat about in the Wrestling World. There are a couple that I can think of off hand but the one you can expect will take us into the Realm of AEW so, let’s not delay. Got other things to do 😉  So, it would appear that Our Man Jon Moxley has gone and Face turned. Is that what that is? Not that I have a problem with it.  I saw it more as the man behind the mask speaking honestly for a moment. I think, for the most part, the bulk of the IWC are fans of Mox/Dean Ambrose but there are a lot of commenters not sure about this sudden about-face.  I’m not sure that’s what it is. He’s always been intense and he’s always been about wrestling for wrestling. It keeps him “sane” and gives him a reason to get up in the morning so, I would never badmouth that. How’s It Going, Enthusiasts? Enjoy your Christmas if you’re one who celebrates? Have to say it was a nice night, even if I had to work today 😉 Well, as you can imagine, it’s pretty quiet in the Wrestling World as everyone enjoys the Holidays, as they should. Given that, this will be a short post but I have a few things to chat about so, let’s get to it. In the Realm of AEW, it looks like Gabe “The Hooligan” Kidd is looking to establish himself as he picked a fight with battle weary Darby Allin. Kidd is making sure we know he’s a “bad man” as after offering a pointed promo, he proceeded to interrupt Allin’s interview to kick him down a flight of stairs. It was quite rude. We all know Allin doesn’t back down from a fight so, we’ll see how he comes back to ruin Kidd’s day. He did ask for it.  As for the Future, there’s not much to report. Jon Moxley managed to spoil the evening for a determined Orange Cassidy so he stays alive in the Continental Classic. What I find interesting here ...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts? I have a house full of family for the Holidays so…you know not complaining but at the same time kinda want to 😉 You know how it is. Anyway, it’s quiet in the Wrestling World as I can imagine many of our players are contending in similar ways. So, let’s get to it, shall we.  All that caught my eye is that the word going around is that Dominik Mysterio suffered a shoulder injury performing for AAA recently. So, he may just have to lay up backstage for the time being. Kayfabe-wise, who cares. But when it comes to real world, let’s wish him a speedy recovery.  Besides that, for this week’s RAW we can expect to get better acquainted with Je’Von Evans as he faces “Dos” Americano. Bayley will give Roxanne Perez her Winter Final. I expect Perez to pass with flying colors. GUNTHER will stop by to see if people are still mad. And Rhea Ripley is set to get some payback on Asuka for spit/misting her last week.  This should be the last early RAW for me. ...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Happy Friday! So, Netflix is making it a little difficult for the East Coasters with the Jake Paul vs. Anthony Joshua bout going on tonight. I have it on in the background but since I’m on the West Coast, I don’t anticipate much overlap but the DVR is already covering that potentiality.   As for the Wrestling World, there’s not that much going on but there is some talk floating around so, we’ll have a little gossipy chat and get on with it and so, here we go.   In the Realm of AEW, things appear to be going along smoothly. MJF made his return and I wonder how long that lasts ‘cause he should have a part to play in the Future. I feel he’d be a great person to bring about the “beginning of the end” so to speak. I’m waiting for him to take time off again, hopefully to do another film or cameo somewhere. Upon his return, his “detached viewpoint” could be what really starts things off. How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Welcome to the end of Monday. So, John Cena’s career has ended and the Internet Wrestling Community (IWC) had plenty to say about it. Well, I said to brace yourself. WWE will WWE and Cena’s send off was no different. They gave him his flowers after his loss but many fans were bummed that they ended it that way.   After years of Hustle, Loyalty and Respect along with never giving up our dedicated hero tapped out. When you think about it, it is a fitting end as he closes this chapter he did so by simply admitting he was “beat”. You could read that various ways. GUNTHER was simply too much. Cena was simply too old, too tired. It works poetically however you look at it.   However, the fans wanted to celebrate and WWE just wouldn’t let them. How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Enjoying this Friday? I’ve had better and I’ve had worse so there will be no complaints from me. As for the Wrestling World, there’s not that much going on so this shouldn’t be that long of a post but I got a few things to chat about so, let’s get into it.   First, allow me to restate my thoughts on the Paramount “hostile” counter-bid to Netflix’s offer to acquire Warner Bros./Discovery. I looked into what this means exactly and apparently, the “hostile” side of it is that Paramount is essentially going over WB’s head and attempting to cut a deal with the shareholders directly. From what I gathered, this is kind of hit or miss but makes it clear that Paramount does mean business and pledges to give the shareholders a better deal if they opt to side with them.   I still don’t know if that changes anything but to me, it seems that Paramount is hoping the shareholders are more swayed by greed than principle. How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Welcome to the start of another week. So, there are some things going on but not much for me to talk about. We’ll touch on a few things and then get to the show. Ready? Here we go.   We’ll do a brief stop in the Entertainment World as Paramount doesn’t want to let Netflix have Warner Bros. Word is they planted a “hostile” counteroffer on the table for it. From what I’m hearing, it’s not more than what Netflix is throwing down but I suspect it’s more liquid. I would think that’s the only consideration but I don’t have any specifics.   If I’m Warner Bros., I wouldn’t really be open to dealing with Paramount, especially with its MAGA leanings. Warner Bros. seems to be staying out of the political fray for the most part so I can see them going thanks, but no thanks to them. I’m not sure what Paramount could do to sway them outside of leaving the political arena but we shall see. It looks like this isn’t done quite yet.   Ove...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   A happy Friday to you! So, there’s some big news circulating and some other business but otherwise a quiet day in the Wrestling World. Since I have a few things to say, let’s get into it, shall we? Here we go.   As many of you probably already know, Netflix is going to acquire Warner Brothers. That is huge. It marks the end of an era certainly. In a way it’s promising because I may have full access to the Looney Tunes Library through Netflix not to mention the Matrix franchise and a plethora of other content but the question mark that hovers for our world is how will both WWE and AEW exist under the same roof?   I suppose it’s too soon to say. I guess in theory it doesn’t matter. Both have to work with Netflix but it is an interesting set of bedfellows. I’m thinking they remain separate for the most part but will that allow Netflix subscribers to view AEW PPVs without extra cost? Hmmm…I’m not opposed to that. In that respect, AE...
