Will RAW Just Phone It in Since Everything Changes Next Week?...

How’s Everyone Doing this Monday? Good?   Hanging in there?   Stay strong, my friends.   So, there are a couple things on my mind tonight.   I guess it’s best to start with Finn Balor, given how he and Kyle O’Reilly had themselves a knockdown, drag ‘em out fight for the title last night at NXT Takeover.   Balor retained but not without getting banged up plenty.   Now, this is the sort of thing I mean when it comes to how the WWE mishandled Balor.   The Dæmon Persona is somewhat necessary for Balor to make sense in the WWE Universe.   His susceptibility to injury kinda ruins the ruse, so to speak.   If they established him correctly, his matches could be better structured to protect him.   When in trouble, he could resort to psychological tactics to “disturb” his opponents.   I always thought that would be fun for both Balor and whoever faces him.   When he found himself in a jam, he’d get the opponent all crossed up in a hold where he could whisper something in their ear.   What it i

Good Evening, Enthusiasts!   How is this Friday treating you?   Well, I hope.   So, we see how the WWE proceeds from here on out.   Now, that how they really work is becoming clearer.    The Finn Balor article is up.   Many will probably agree that WWE completely botched his concept showing that the poor guy didn’t really have a chance.   He was essentially doomed to fail.   Wrestlers have to be careful in the WWE.   They’ll bungle them, toss ‘em and just get a new one ‘til someone takes.   Wrestlers have to have a game plan and loads of charisma to overcome the blatant flaws they’re bound to encounter.   Don’t think they have the answers.   There’s a good chance they never did.   Wrestlers need to be ready and willing to submit their ideas.   At the very least, they need to negotiate to a palatable middle. So, with word of some Ladies returning or potentially returning makes what they do so all the more interesting.   Has word made it to these ladies?   Do they have game plans fo

Well, RAW Is Certainly Acting Like the "A" Show....

How’s It Hanging, Enthusiasts? For this post, I will take a slightly different approach because something has come to light for me.   I suppose it was always there but now that I write for The Wrestling Movement, some of my articles require I do a little research.   Doing so has been enlightening.    Taking a deeper look, you realize that WWE only half knows what it’s doing meaning that wrestlers have to essentially fend for themselves. The WWE Creative Department may have a vague understanding of how to book a match but they only have a basic grasp of presenting Drama.    Wrestlers have to fill in those blanks.   What made that so apparent was an article I was tasked to submit on Finn Balor.   I really feel bad for that dude.    After looking at the evidence, he simply trusted WWE too much.   He was like Ned Stark.   He didn’t know how to play the “Game” and “died” for it.     Let that be a lesson to all the wrestlers on the WWE roster.   If you want to succeed in that company, yo

How Are You Doing, Enthusiasts? Well, before I get into everything I want to get into, let’s take a moment to discuss some interesting news that’s circulating in both the WWE Universe and the actual Media.   It appears The Rock along with some other partners, his ex-wife included, have decided to purchase the XFL at a steal for $15 million.   Challenging economic times make way for moves like this and this is some interesting information to consider.   It’s hard to say what the implications are with everything so uncertain.   This new league could now potentially rival the NFL by luring current players with better conditions than the NFL currently wants to offer.   Wrestlers who need new options could reconsider an old or new career path.   There’s some potential in this turn of events.   I’m curious to see how it will develop.   In other WWE News, the Bella Twins have had their babies.   The ladies had themselves a son each about a day apart taking “twinning” to the ultimate level
