  What’s Going On, Enthusiasts? Happy BackLash! So, we got a decent card awaiting us this afternoon and I’m looking at a couple matches specifically. This won’t be a long post because of that but hopefully I prove that I got handle on this stuff. I have been watching for a while, you know. The first match I’ve got eyes on is the opener in Seth Rollins vs. Bron Breakker. To look at it, you wonder why Rollins would show up. What could he possibly do against this young warrior? Well, that’s kinda what we have to see. This is a precipice of WWE modern history. What once was the “hot new thing” is now staring at what is the current “hot new thing”. It has different connotations in this day and age, especially with the current climate. Not living up to the “myth the legend” could mean Rollins is on the chopping block.  Breakker, fresh and young, has nothing but potential at this stage. What can he become? Rollins has more to lose here, otherwise he’s just putting Breakker over. Trut...

  How’s It Going, Enthusiasts? Welcome to WrestleMania 42. On paper we should be thoroughly entertained but it’s always a crapshoot as to whether we actually will be or not. Both nights have 7 matches scheduled so we’ll be close to sick of wrestling by the end and then still have to watch RAW on Monday. This is work sometimes, I tell ya 😉  In any case, I’m looking at 3 matches tonight. Let’s see if they have a chance of living up to their expectations. The first one is Becky Lynch vs. AJ Lee. This one is interesting for all sorts of reasons, the main one being that most would never had figured Lee would return to WWE.  Personally, I’ve noticed that WWE has a history of welcoming back wrestlers if there’s enough interest in it and in some cases if someone just needs a job so, it’s no surprise in that respect. How’s It Going, Enthusiasts? Happy Elimination Chamber! So, this got more interesting than scheduled due to life happening and so we get to see how WWE does on the fly. They should be experts at it but given how bad it can get when they’re steering, it’s fair to be a little skeptical about how this all lands. Regardless, I’m only looking at 2 matches so, let’s see if I got a good read of the lay of the land. First, it’s the Men’s Elimination Chamber. As is, I’m thinking this is the second to last match. With this in Chicago and CM Punk in a Championship Match, that has to close. And with the sudden changes, it’s technically anyone’s guess how this goes but ultimately, it has to go in a direction that leads to an entertaining match up with Drew McIntyre. Let’s take a look at our players. We have Je’Von Evans, LA Knight, Randy Orton, Logan Paul, Cody Rhodes and Trick Williams. At a glance, I would strike out Evans, Williams and Paul. How’s It Going, Enthusiasts? It’s the first Saturday Night: Main Event of the year and it’s naturally a short card but I got a match that I’m looking at. I think most of us will. So, why don't we break it down. Out of everything, I’m looking at the Fatal-4-Way with Randy Orton, Damian Priest, Trick Williams and Sami Zayn. Who wins it? Well…the shocker would be Zayn. He’s in Montréal, his hometown so they rarely give it to the hometown boy. WWE likes raining on a parade. However, they’d might do it just to drop jaws.  The favorite is Trick Williams. The Crowds have received him surprisingly well. I knew he was popular in NXT but I had no idea it translated. I didn’t even know he was a big guy until he debuted. I was expecting him to be like 5’10. He moves well for his size and he definitely has the mouth. He is basically Rick James’ Nephew. How’s It Going, Enthusiasts? There are some interesting times before us. WrestlePalooza debuts upon the worst backdrop you could ask for. It’s mired in controversy by association and it’s not of its own making. How do you make lemonade out of this? It’s possible but it’s due to circumstances that I’m looking at 2 matches.  The first match is the slated opener, Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena. Now, I never saw them throwdown in their heyday and I’ll keep to my parkour philosophy of always going forward so, I won’t watch any old matches but knowing what the conclusion is, so to speak, I’m interested to see how they incorporate all that they know. Lesnar is in an uncomfortable spot given his personal reputation is somewhat tarnished. We don’t mind him being big and bad in the ring but that doesn’t translate well to real time living. How’s It Going, Enthusiasts? Welcome to SummerSlam, Day 1! So, I usually post on both days but this time around, I think I’ll just be honest and post once. I’m only interested in 2 matches and the rest is up to our players to make interesting. Not that they can’t but my curiosity has only piqued for 2 potential hotspots.  The first is the TLC Tag Team Match. I don’t recall who’s in it and don’t feel like looking it up but given the last displays, this could be the highlight of the weekend. No pressure 😉 Yet, given these players are known for their skill and prowess, I feel the biggest challenge will be getting in their own way. Hopefully, they can relax and just let the magic happen. Then after that, it’s the Cody Rhodes vs. John Cena Street Fight. Did Cena really Face Turn? Personally, I’m sensing the Rock and potentially even Travis Scott to return. All the reports of a falling out could be disinformation. You know how it is in the WWE Universe. Can’t trust anything. I still kin...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts! We’re here at this…quarter’s Saturday Night: Main Event . And…I still don’t know how to approach these every-once-in a-whiles. So, I won’t sweat it for now. I’ll be honest, though. I’ll watch the show but I don’t even remember the full card. All I’m looking at is Goldberg, especially since he has some stuff to say at present. It makes sense to pave the way for whatever next but I’m not sure what that is. A podcast?  Guest spots? I have no idea how this is gonna go but I’m too curious to not watch. Everyone else, all I can say is mind the corporate rules. Broadcast doesn’t mess around so show that you know when to stick to protocol. Sticking to 2 hours will mean more than whatever I care to say. And I’ll leave it at that. The unofficial watch party starts at 5pm PDT. I’ll play it much like last night.   How’s It Going, Enthusiasts? Happy Money in the Bank! So, it’s that time again and this one is very much not like any other. We’ve got these new kids that are all extremely talented and the Old Guard can’t be seen. The landscape is changing and what comes to be I can’t exactly say, but it’s that uncertainty that’s exciting. Before, that was what was missing. We all kinda knew what was gonna happen or more importantly, what wasn’t going to happen. Now, who knows. Let’s get into it. I’m just going to focus on the MITB Ladder Matches because everyone else has to make it interesting. Becky Lynch and Lyra Valkyria have the most work to do if you ask me. With all the other dramatics, they’re becoming an afterthought. That said, we’ll start off with the Ladies’ MITB Ladder Match. We have Alexa Bliss, Giulia, Naomi, Roxanne Perez, Rhea Ripley and Stephanie Vaquer battling for a chance to ruin a Titleholder’s day. How’s It Going Enthusiasts! Happy Mothers’ Day Weekend. Since I’ll be traveling on the actual day, I’m making the most of my daughterly duties today. Started a little yesterday to be honest. So, here we are at BackLash and the slim card lets us know that this isn’t the biggest event but a relevant one. I take these as times for the less popular talent to get a chance. The popular ones are cool, of course, but too much of the same gets boring. It’s good to mix it up. See what everyone’s got. This could be a fun one but I’m curious about 2 of these matches on offer. The first one being the only Lady option as Lady Becky Lynch takes on her protegée in Lyra Valkyria. This is Valkyria’s match to lose or win, regardless of the actual outcome.  What has to happen here is that Valkyria has to get us to care about her to some degree or she risks being just another wrestler.
