How’s It Going, Enthusiasts? There are some interesting times before us. WrestlePalooza debuts upon the worst backdrop you could ask for. It’s mired in controversy by association and it’s not of its own making. How do you make lemonade out of this? It’s possible but it’s due to circumstances that I’m looking at 2 matches.  The first match is the slated opener, Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena. Now, I never saw them throwdown in their heyday and I’ll keep to my parkour philosophy of always going forward so, I won’t watch any old matches but knowing what the conclusion is, so to speak, I’m interested to see how they incorporate all that they know. Lesnar is in an uncomfortable spot given his personal reputation is somewhat tarnished. We don’t mind him being big and bad in the ring but that doesn’t translate well to real time living. How’s It Going, Enthusiasts? Welcome to SummerSlam, Day 1! So, I usually post on both days but this time around, I think I’ll just be honest and post once. I’m only interested in 2 matches and the rest is up to our players to make interesting. Not that they can’t but my curiosity has only piqued for 2 potential hotspots.  The first is the TLC Tag Team Match. I don’t recall who’s in it and don’t feel like looking it up but given the last displays, this could be the highlight of the weekend. No pressure 😉 Yet, given these players are known for their skill and prowess, I feel the biggest challenge will be getting in their own way. Hopefully, they can relax and just let the magic happen. Then after that, it’s the Cody Rhodes vs. John Cena Street Fight. Did Cena really Face Turn? Personally, I’m sensing the Rock and potentially even Travis Scott to return. How’s It Going, Enthusiasts! We’re here at this…quarter’s Saturday Night: Main Event . And…I still don’t know how to approach these every-once-in a-whiles. So, I won’t sweat it for now. I’ll be honest, though. I’ll watch the show but I don’t even remember the full card. All I’m looking at is Goldberg, especially since he has some stuff to say at present. It makes sense to pave the way for whatever next but I’m not sure what that is. A podcast?  Guest spots? I have no idea how this is gonna go but I’m too curious to not watch. Everyone else, all I can say is mind the corporate rules. Broadcast doesn’t mess around so show that you know when to stick to protocol. Sticking to 2 hours will mean more than whatever I care to say. And I’ll leave it at that. The unofficial watch party starts at 5pm PDT. I’ll play it much like last night.   How’s It Going, Enthusiasts? Happy Money in the Bank! So, it’s that time again and this one is very much not like any other. We’ve got these new kids that are all extremely talented and the Old Guard can’t be seen. The landscape is changing and what comes to be I can’t exactly say, but it’s that uncertainty that’s exciting. Before, that was what was missing. We all kinda knew what was gonna happen or more importantly, what wasn’t going to happen. Now, who knows. Let’s get into it. I’m just going to focus on the MITB Ladder Matches because everyone else has to make it interesting. Becky Lynch and Lyra Valkyria have the most work to do if you ask me. With all the other dramatics, they’re becoming an afterthought. That said, we’ll start off with the Ladies’ MITB Ladder Match. We have Alexa Bliss, Giulia, Naomi, Roxanne Perez, Rhea Ripley and Stephanie Vaquer battling for a chance to ruin a Titleholder’s day. How’s It Going Enthusiasts! Happy Mothers’ Day Weekend. Since I’ll be traveling on the actual day, I’m making the most of my daughterly duties today. Started a little yesterday to be honest. So, here we are at BackLash and the slim card lets us know that this isn’t the biggest event but a relevant one. I take these as times for the less popular talent to get a chance. The popular ones are cool, of course, but too much of the same gets boring. It’s good to mix it up. See what everyone’s got. This could be a fun one but I’m curious about 2 of these matches on offer. The first one being the only Lady option as Lady Becky Lynch takes on her protegée in Lyra Valkyria. This is Valkyria’s match to lose or win, regardless of the actual outcome.  What has to happen here is that Valkyria has to get us to care about her to some degree or she risks being just another wrestler. Happy WrestleMania! Did you enjoy Day 1? I liked it though it was a bit formulaic. Given how it has been hit or miss for years, I respect the back to basics reset. This puts things on firmer footing going forward which was always necessary.  Match of the Night appears to be, hands down, the main event with Paul Heyman being the primary player. He turns on both CM Punk and Roman Reigns to side with The Architect, Seth Rollins. It was fun, I have to admit. Everyone played their parts well and the action was satisfying. As the night seemed to demonstrate, they all stuck to the book. This appears to be the Seth Rollins Era as “The Plan” goes into effect. What that means exactly remains to be seen but the beginning is compelling.  Outside of that, I’m kinda glad I had the lay of the land read. There were no surprises besides who was in attendance to an extent. Most announced are known fans or affiliates so again, a very textbook sentiment seems to be in the air. Again, I don’t mind...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   It’s the Rumble and this one feels different. With John Cena’s farewell tour well underway, we can’t help but expect WWE to pull out some stops. That said, all we really care about are the rumbles this year. Cody Rhodes, Kevin Owens, the Motor City Machine Guns and DIY have their work cut out for them. I get the feeling if people could fast forward, they would. I wouldn’t be surprised if a lot of people wait until it replays just to be able to do that.   My Saturday is set aside for this so, I’ll be watching live but I won’t lie and say I’m not like everyone else. I’m very curious about the rumbles so here’s who I’m hoping to see.   For the Ladies, I’m anticipating them opening. I hope they keep to a traditional format this time around. Just given all the potential, I wouldn’t want to leave much to experiment. These are the times to be most by the book. How’s It Going, Enthusiasts? It’s another Survivor Series and I have to say I’m a little more excited than in previous years. The card is looking good and there’s good hype/momentum going in. It’s been a while since there’s been proper set up. It’s all very promising. Never would have thought to see it in my lifetime. Was sure I’d be talking shit forever. In any case, it’s a short card so here are the matches I’ll be especially looking forward to. So, we’ll start with the Ladies’ War Game because they’ve been stirring it up for the past couple weeks. They’re all very capable women so I can’t even begin to speak on who may win. I get the feeling it won’t exactly be clean but I’m anticipating some wiliness. Someone will be caught out and a technicality exploited. I don’t really care how or who as long as it’s entertaining so all the Ladies really have to do is watch against trying too hard.
