SmackDown Has a Lot to Share on Its Way to Summer Slam...
A Good Friday to You, Enthusiasts! How’s every little thing? So, before getting into SmackDown I just want to give a little praise to this week’s RAW for it was one of the more solid shows I’ve seen in some time. Though the word is that ratings are falling, I would have to say that the content has been improving. Given the current state of affairs, it’s a little too clear that the WWE simply can’t get away with being sub-par anymore. There is a distinct attempt to course correct at the moment and I couldn’t be happier about this development. It always takes a crisis, doesn’t it? The main event of Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler was stellar and Randy Orton putting the cherry on the top is basically the sort of finish that I hope marks the beginning of a new era. I don’t expect every night to end that way because that would ruin these sorts of special moments but the shows should have solid finishes of similar caliber.
