SmackDown Back to a Familiar Role...Custodian...

What’s Happening, Enthusiasts.   So, this is a bit of a mixed bag in the wrestling world. Let’s start with all the big news of the past week or so, shall we?   Well, I didn’t touch on Ring of Honor closing up shop so, let me just touch on that. It does sound like the plan is to start back up next April but that is unfortunate. This pandemic is taking way more than lives, livelihoods have suffered as well and it is very unfortunate. I feel for these people and hope they find their way. They should take more solace in the fact that is more a sign of the times. Life changes one’s direction sometimes. When it does, it’s up to one to ensure that the change is for the better in some way. Best of luck to the next chapter of their lives.   The other big news was that Jon Moxley/Dean Ambrose admitted himself into a rehab facility for what I’m hearing is alcohol abuse. Now, when Moxley left WWE, I wasn’t happy about it but I felt that if the move made him happy by all means enjoy you

RAW Attempts to Show They Can Clean-Up After Themselves...

A Good Evening to You, Enthusiasts? How are you doing? It’s all a bit different but the same, isn’t it? Personally, I’m surprised that Joe Biden won the election. I was prepared for the worst in a Trump re-election. Almost don’t know what to do with it. I try to keep politics out of the blog and stuff just for a sort of peace of mind. I look at my joy of wrestling as an escape. Yet, every now and then, it’s good to just voice an opinion. Here’s what I’ll say on the current state of affairs. Take note of how close this election was. Half the populous wants to keep things “The Old Way”. No one should be surprised that the majority of the Red States remained red. All that says to me is one should be aware if one ever travels this country. Be mindful of where you are going to. Be it blue or red state, the people there want it that way. Book your reservations wisely. All right, back to wrasslin’ so, we’ll start with Paige this week. Poor thing. She’s having a bit of a tough go, isn’t she?

SmackDown Wants to be "A" Show Again...It's Not Impossible...

How’s Your Friday, Enthusiasts? Staying cool?   California is on fire again.   It’s been hazy the entire week.   But, let’s not dwell on that.   So, you don’t need me to tell you that the big WWE news is Rusev/Miro debuting on AEW.   I honestly didn’t see that coming.   On this very blog I have said that Miro is made for the WWE.   I understand his grievances, though.   WWE has never been perfect but I don’t know if he’ll find any more success on AEW.   I respect it as a wrestling promotion.   I’m glad they hit a million views on the ratings but they still come off like what they are to me.   Everyone who couldn’t find a following with WWE tries their luck at AEW.   So, it looks like a mid-card show essentially.   Sorry. What’s interesting about all this is that I was actually watching AEW this week.   I was curious after all the talk about All Out sucking.   I checked out a few of the matches to see for myself and then watched the show to see how they would handle the fallout.   B
