RAW Goes Home for WrestleMania...

What’s Up, Enthusiasts? How you living? Well, this is an interesting Monday because for once it’s tinged with Oscars’ buzz only it’s not because of who won or lost. It’s because Will Smith felt compelled to defend Jada Pinkett’s honor. I heard about it myself so I can’t comment on how I felt when it happened but I have to say I didn’t believe it when I heard it. I figured they were doing some skit.  Yet, Pinkett’s face basically said it all. The joke could be viewed as poor taste but given Chris Rock’s sense of humor, it’s definitely tame for him. I think it would be absolutely hilarious if they can turn this minus into a plus and had a match for Bragging Rights or, or, maybe they could just have a segment where they sling their best burns. It would have to be aboveboard of course, nothing below the waist but if they could properly “singe” each other before having a “real fight” I think they could playfully put the incident behind them. They can slapfight if they want to keep the tone

SmackDown Serves as a Rest Stop to WrestleMania...

How’s Everyone Doing Tonight, Enthusiasts?   Good, I hope. So, there’s some big news. I’m sure you all know what it is so let’s not waste any time.   Triple H has announced his formal retirement from in-ring competition. The cardiac event he suffered last year nearly took his life and he now lives with a defibrillator. That’s too bad. There is nothing else the man can really do. I don’t know if we can do the 6 Million-Dollar Man thing just yet. I will always praise Triple H for supremely executing his job. He was the embodiment of a Heel. I couldn’t tell you why now, but back in the day, he had me livid! I’d be so mad! It wasn’t until my adulthood did I realize that’s exactly what he intended. I don’t even know if you can do that nowadays. You have to be so considerate, or the joke is lost. He’d just be labeled toxic and rude. He will be missed by those who witnessed and experienced his distinct genius. Hopefully he can still help out behind the scenes.   Something else th

RAW Tells Us to Get On the Bus. You Know Where We're Going...

How Are You Doing, Enthusiasts?   Well, I hope. So, there’s not a lot going on but there are some things we can chat about. Let’s get right into it. Should be a short post.   Generally speaking, ratings are down in the wrestling world. The conflict in Ukraine and March Madness has everyone distracted. The wrestling world tends to look more like nonsense alongside real issues and real sports. AEW’s Rampage took a serious hit last week. Such is life in the wrestling world. There are only a few of us and if we’re distracted it shows.   In WWE news, Bianca Belair appears to be out of action. Word is she’s suffering from some sort of throat injury and is out indefinitely. Of course, there’s speculation this is cover for something else. Others are also wondering if this means she’s out of WrestleMania. I’m not sure how to feel about this just yet. I don’t know how real it is. On top of that, I wonder if they’re figuring out a replacement. If so, I wouldn’t be surprised if Lita ge

How’s Are You Doing, Enthusiasts? I hope you all are doing well. So, there are a few things we can talk about tonight. Let’s not waste any time and get into it. So, in WWE news, they’re planning a PPV in the UK in September. That should be interesting. I don’t know what the theme is or what we’ll even be contemplating then but that is something new, I suppose. I’m all for these sorts of experiments. No harm in it. What raises an eyebrow is that AEW plans to have its PPV on the same day so it’ll be a head-to-head in views. That said, let’s see if WWE rises to the challenge. Most people bailed because WWE tends to phone it in regardless of having a stacked roster, AEW tends to have heart and that is endearing. We’ll see if WWE ups the “entertainment” value as we approach September.  In more AEW focused news, it appears that they are considering acquiring Bret Hart. They’ve already invested in the memory of Owen Hart so they might as well get Bret. I have no problem with this. I respect

RAW Takes Another Turn at the Wheel as We Head to WrestleMania....

How Are You Doing, Enthusiasts? Well, the news going around isn’t the best so I can understand if this feels more like a Monday than usual. Shall we get into it anyway? As They say, the Show must go on. So, the “heelfully” infamous Razor Ramon/Scott Hall has passed. He was on life support during the past 24 hours after suffering 3 heart attacks during surgery for a broken hip. Apparently he broke it from a fall. That’s just too bad. Try to take care of yourselves in your old age. It’s always a shame when something like a fall busts a person into pieces. He was only 63. I would hate it if my fate hinged upon something like that. Take this as a cautionary tale and keep up on your calcium intake.  As for the man, I only really knew of him. I missed his heydays. Yet, given the response on Social Media, I can see he definitely left behind a legacy. May he rest in peace. It’s a shame. A moment of silence if you will…. In somewhat lighter news, Xavier Woods has returned to the fray. We can on

SmackDown Does Its Leg Towards WrestleMania...

Merry Friday, Enthusiasts!   I hope it’s a good one for you. So, there are some things to talk about but nothing too Earth shattering. Shall we get into the chatter?   So, the biggest news is that Jeff Hardy is now officially on the AEW roster. WWE dropped the ball on this one, but it may not be all that bad. As much as I like Jeff Hardy, he’s been dated for a while. Don’t get me wrong, he still has “It” but he’s going to stay in 2001 for the rest of his life. Plus, he’s never been that great on the mic. Granted, WWE doesn’t always give a person the best shit to say but he never got the hang of sounding natural with his lines. Nevertheless, I wouldn’t be surprised if Hardy retires with WWE in the end. That may seem farfetched at the moment, but it all comes down to his appeal factor. Dated as he is, he’s still engaging and entertaining and that sells. We’ll see if AEW puts him to good use but if they don’t, WWE may lure him back with an apology and a fat paycheck.   In AEW

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts? So, there’s not that much going on. AEW had a PPV over the weekend but I wasn’t a fan of the blood so I didn’t give it too much attention but it’s generally being praised on social media. I’ll probably check out the Bryan Danielson vs. Jon Moxley match later. Shall we chat about the other goings-on in the meantime? Let’s. So, William Regal has hopped over to AEW as well and was warmly received. Please don’t find me cold but I had very little reaction to the departure of Regal. I had nothing against the man so, naturally it was a little sad to see a good worker go but I went on with my day. It’s nice to see he’s so well-received in AEW. Good luck to the man in his new chapter. In pseudo-WWE  news, the rumor of Cody Rhodes’ return hitting a snag has become the new sentiment of the moment. Word is Creative was working on his return for WrestleMania when talks stalled. Well, I did suggest they talk things out first. It’s somewhat presumptuous to think everyth

Happens every year 😉   Happy Friday, Enthusiasts. I hope things are going well for you. So, there’s a few things to talk about, aren’t there. Let’s get right into it. So, Tony Khan acquired Ring of Honor. I can’t help but feel that benefits the former owner(s) more than AEW. It’s just a feeling but that’s my initial read. ROH was never an elaborate promotion. Yet, that was what was kinda endearing about it. You could see everyone there loved the gig but it’s definitely where you start. No disrespect to lifers but I would imagine the goal would be bigger and better things after a while. We’ll see what AEW does with it. What’s interesting about this is that word is that talks with WWE and Cody Rhodes stalled out as they couldn’t agree on terms so the new rumor is that he may head back to AEW to operate in some capacity with the ROH acquisition. Not sure what to believe here. There are other rumors stating that WWE is working avidly to build his creative angle. Regardless, I think in ter
