PUTTIN’ THAT SMACKDOWN…What Happened Last (Tuesday) Night [Nov. 28th, 2014]

After a disconcerting RAW,  I would say that the bulk of us took a collective sigh of relief to see that those behind  SmackDown seem to understand what they have to do to at least not garner criticism.  I’m sure people will always have something to say but compared to RAW they just seem to “get it” more.  Perhaps it’s the Friday (soon-to-be Thursday) time slot and the sentiment that SmackDown should be about the wrestling/action anyway but, whatever leeway that SmackDown gets that RAW doesn’t should probably get reconsidered.  Needless to say, a solid show was presented and some of my more pressing concerns are presently assuaged. We begin our evening with The Miz and Damien “Mizdow” in the ring to have ourselves another installment of MizTV.  Tonight’s guest, Mr. Big Show, no doubt here to continue to validate his predictable heel-turn.  Yet, before Big Show can get started, we hear Daniel Bryan’s music and Bryan appears to announce that he’s got the GM gig for tonight t

Feel Like I'm Forgetting Something...Oh Yeah, SMACKDOWN!...

Happy Thanksgiving, Enthusiasts! Hope it went splendidly for you. Mine went way better than expected, that is for sure. And now we are recovering from both food coma and Black Friday.  I tend not to shop on this day but I may hit up Cyber Monday, though. In any case, all this Holiday business has swept the WWE under the rug a little bit as we all deal with family and friends. Yet, we have to start the process of getting back into the proverbial saddle and returning to reality as we know it. Unfortunately, that reminds us of the state of things in the WWE Universe.  Will SmackDown continue to be a saving grace or will it show signs of internal disintegration.  The spoilers don't give much so I suppose we'll have to see.  I'll be monitoring the Twitters to see how the East Coast feels and then I'll take a look for myself.  Funny tweets will get retweeted and the funnier ones will get retweeted and favorited.  I've yet to be so amused (^_~) See You in a Bit,

GIVING IT TO YOU RAW…What Happened Last Night (Nov. 24th, 2014)

So, after an…engaging Survivor Series, we return to regular time play with the typical RAW follow-up.  Well, like I voiced in my previous post, I wasn’t really sure why the WWE felt it necessary to shoot themselves in the foot to sell us on bad ideas but, the damage is done and RAW didn’t add too much salve.  It was better than the previous RAW but still comes off as a lot of the same old-same old with just the Faces “calling the shots” now.  And now we have the return of this Anonymous GM that’s serving to be more annoying than suspenseful but, seeing how it’s just the first night and feedback, I’m sure, is coming in fast and furiously, if the WWE is smart, they are having some closed-door meetings and really thinking seriously about how they’re gonna turn this all around.  I’m sure they’ve been closer to losing it all in the past than we know but, there has been no time in my cognizance of this universe have I’ve been more worried for the future of this product.  As this entire b

Ready to Get RAW?...All New & Improved Like....

Well, that's certainly the hope. For those of you seeing for yourself, I hope you're tweeting away.  I'll be sure to inspect upon my return home but in the meantime, shoot the straight story in 140 characters or less, at a time that is.  Funny tweets get retweeted and truly hilarious ones get favorited too.  I'll be sure to retweet the cold truth, as well.  Let's see what "better" means to these people (^_~)  See You in a Bit, -Nicole Alexis. PS: With all this action comes plenty of reaction...

A TRUE SURVIVOR SERIES…What Happened Last Night (Nov. 23rd, 2014)

Well, call me surprised.   Is this the moment it all changes or will it simply be more of the same called something different?   I can’t really say.   Survivor Series was absolutely not quite what I was expecting but, I find that it’s not really a good or bad thing.   It’s just not what I expected.    Yet, I love how it could either be seen as a means to appease complaints without losing face or a genius evolution suddenly revealed.   I bet it was a little bit of both.   Let’s just hope that they can carry the spirit of this change of guard for more than just a few showings.  Hopefully, this is the beginning and only that... In the Pre-Show “Bad News” Barrett and Fandango make their return.   Seeing how Fandango has been out for a bit, it was nice to see he took some dance classes so he doesn’t come off a complete jerk but, you know…jerk enough.   He gets his “welcome back” win off of Justin Gabriel.  Then, Cesaro and Jack Swagger warm us up as well but, it was a littl
