SmackDown Sticks to Fallout Procedures...

Merry Christmas, Enthusiasts!     Though there may be less people around that doesn’t mean there should be any less festivity. I had my annual feast of Chinese food and now I’m ready for some wrasslin’.     So, in terms of news in the wrestling world, there’s not too much going on. AEW and NXT both took ratings hits due to real sports being on at the same time. I looked in on both this week and it’s very interesting to see the contrast. I respect NXT but a lot of those guys will have a tough time if they try to go to WWE, The Undisputed Era especially. I don’t doubt they’re skilled wrestlers but they’re far from intimidating. I’m pretty sure Rhea Ripley and Raquel Gonzalez could take them on in a fight. I kinda think I could take ‘em too. That doesn’t bode well for making it on the big stage. WWE fans are more like the real world. For example, remember when The Shield would walk through the crowd to the ring? As much as Roman Reigns was given shit back then, when they walked th

SmackDown Says, "Happy Holidays!..." as They Deal with TLC Fallout...

Happy Friday & Happy Holidays, Enthusiasts! How are you doing?   Well, I hope a lot of you are like me and have pretty much checked out for the Holidays.   I gotta head out of town tonight.   Gonna see if I can catch the live feed but if I can’t, I’ll be catching up with SmackDown over the weekend.   RAW will definitely be picked up on the flip when I get back in town.   I suggest you all feel free to allow the usual routine to slip as we cater to friends and family during this festive time.   Let’s remember where the true priorities lie, shall we.   Tis the season and all that. Anyway, RAW wasn’t bad this week.   It did what it did and it felt as if people were given some room to breathe, so to speak.   It seemed looser and freer, like it got let out in the seams a little bit.   Perhaps the WWE have decided to ease up during this Holiday time as well.   I don’t see it hurting.   The roster has gotta be kinda checked out too.   That’s what the Holidays do. So, for

Greetings, Enthusiasts! How does this Tuesday treat you?   Well, it looks like the general sentiment for last night’s RAW is that everything changed right back to the way it was.   Well, not exactly.   The McMahon Family gave us a bit of their time to take personal responsibility for the state of things and vowed to turn them around.   And again, Baron Corbin served as WWE Martyr to take the blame and serve as whipping boy.   After that, we were given quite palatable fare with Natalya closing out the night via the Women’s Gauntlet match that allowed the winner to face Ronda Rousey on “Christmas Eve”.   That episode was taped the same night so, we’ll see how that plays out.   Leads me to think it probably goes to Rousey but we could be surprised. Nonetheless I’m happy for Nattie.   I feel this sort of opportunity is long overdue.   She demonstrated she has the skill.   I know she doesn’t have full crowd support but I’m one for time done and she’s done her time.   I wish her the bes

The PPVs of 2018 Are Over! RAW Now Turns to the PPVs of 2019...Triumphantly!

A Happy WWE Week to You, Enthusiasts! Now, I know some of you may not be so thrilled but might as well make the most of it.   TLC was lackluster except for the main event and now we begin again as we focus towards 2019 and the Royal Rumble.   We all know the Chairman, Mr. Vince McMahon will be making an appearance tonight to commence the annual “shake-up” that tosses up the rosters and creates a new playing field.   Many of you probably feel this couldn’t come at more opportune time because what’s in play is floundering.   It’s hard to pinpoint the exact problem but a gentleman on the Twitter tweeted, in regards to TLC anyway, that the main thing wrong was that the lead up to the TLC matches was just not there.   What’s the point of these matches?   Why are these people fighting?   These lead-ups are what make the entertainment entertaining.   They definitely need to get back to basics on that. As for what we can expect outside of Mr. McMahon remains to be seen but since it is

RAW Can Be Stingy with the TLC Sometimes...

A Merry Monday to You, Enthusiasts! Well, TLC saved all the TLC for last and I have to say, it was nice to see good ol’Kurt Angle back at it again.   He definitely seemed like he enjoyed himself.   I wouldn’t be surprised if he missed it.   He definitely made the end of the night interesting and I'm not upset with him showing up in a PPV from time to time.  If he's still got it and healthy, why not?    Yet, I have to state this again, comes off as an old patch being used on something that should probably be renovated or straight up replaced.   I loved seeing Angle out there but I’m not sure too many of the old-timers outside of, Dad (Kane) can make it work out there nowadays.   He did seem a little out of place.   Yet, with the new kids being new at this whole "firing up the crowd" thing, Angle certainly brought a taste of the Old Days back to the ring.   But the WWE certainly needs to think about how to keep the old vibe going in these New Eras without having
