After Some Fuss, RAW Sets the Course to Fastlane...

Happy Monday, Enthusiasts!   I hope it finds you well. So, after I posted last Friday I saw an article saying that Christian’s contract negotiations fell through. If I had seen that beforehand, I would have circled Christian as my choice for the new AEW, potential WWE “Hall of Famer”. Now, I don’t know about this move for Christian. Not that I have anything against him but I don’t know what AEW plans to do with him. At least with WWE, you play out the story with Edge but in AEW is he just another jaded, former WWE superstar looking for the proverbial “Brass Ring” to chase? If you ask me, no matter how you cut it, Christian ends up in the same place, doing short spots in the mid-card time slot. They say he’s going to come through and be the hardest worker but will that actually happen? For guys like Big Show, I get it. WWE is played out for them. They’ve done it all. Worn just about every hat. They might as well try AEW on for size. Christian has the case that he still has some thin

SmackDown to Redeem Itself on the Road to Summer Slam?...

How Are You Doing, Enthusiasts? Hang in there, however you are.   It’s all we can do.   Anyway, there’s nothing too thrilling going on in the WWE Universe but a little morsel that is interesting is the new filming location for RAW and SmackDown .   Orlando’s Amway Center appears to be the new spot.   Naturally, this is both encouraging and disconcerting.   With COVID still a threat, the question of whether it’s worth it to attempt live shows with fans arises.   Personally, I don’t know.   I sympathize with not minding taking the risk but at the same time, one doesn’t know the true cause and effect.   With people walking around asymptomatically, a person could have it and not know it and inadvertently transfer it someone who can’t combat it.   It’s not just about a person’s personal risk.   Simply attending could endanger who knows how many random people.   That’s why this pandemic is so frustrating.   You have to think of others and not just yourself.   I’m more than willing to ta

RAW Is Tasked with Setting the Tone on the Road to SummerSlam...

Hello Enthusiasts! How is everyone?   Hope you’re all doing well.   So, it looks like RAW has reclaimed the top spot because last week’s SmackDown was an absolute shit show.   Yeesh!   I’m all for paternity leave but Daniel Bryan, come back soon!   The creative problems are glaringly obvious...more so than usual .   Though it wasn’t all bad, The Fiend’s segment boiled down to bad theater as expected and the end with RETRIBUTION ransacking the place just came off lazy.   The WWE continues to show it doesn’t know what to do with itself but at least RAW has managed to hold our interest. So, tonight, we get another taste of RAW Underground and that's fine by me.   It’s clear that a game of Rock-Paper-Scissors is done beforehand but they act like it’s real.   This could be a place where up-and-comers can make a sudden name for themselves and established names can “blow off some steam”.   After a bad match or a string of losses, they can amble to the back to see if they can someho

A Good Friday to You, Enthusiasts. Everything going smoothly?  Still sane?  I hope so.  Well, the next chapter of The Fiend Experience is happening while I type so, let’s see what’s going on in the WWE Universe.  The rumor that caught me was the one on AEW and WWE being in a bidding war for Rey Mysterio.  Personally, I think he’s better off in the WWE but I don’t know.  With how they wrote him off, I wouldn’t be too keen to return.  If that’s all they got for him maybe AEW would make the use of his time more interesting.  Yet, AEW seems a bit gritty for his fare.  I feel he simply fits more with the WWE.  I feel the same about Rusev/Miro.  He just doesn’t seem to fit anywhere else.  I’m pretty sure Rusev’s coming back once the WWE financials even out.  As for Mysterio, it all depends on what he wants.  More than likely he’ll do both, a stint with AEW to retire with WWE.  That’s my guess. As for tonight’s SmackDown, we get some crumbs on what happens to Alexa Bliss and Braun Strowman.

SmackDown Has a Lot to Share on Its Way to Summer Slam...

A Good Friday to You, Enthusiasts! How’s every little thing?   So, before getting into SmackDown I just want to give a little praise to this week’s RAW for it was one of the more solid shows I’ve seen in some time.   Though the word is that ratings are falling, I would have to say that the content has been improving.   Given the current state of affairs, it’s a little too clear that the WWE simply can’t get away with being sub-par anymore.   There is a distinct attempt to course correct at the moment and I couldn’t be happier about this development.   It always takes a crisis, doesn’t it?   The main event of Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler was stellar and Randy Orton putting the cherry on the top is basically the sort of finish that I hope marks the beginning of a new era. I don’t expect every night to end that way because that would ruin these sorts of special moments but the shows should have solid finishes of similar caliber.   According to whatever story is being sold, the en

A Good Monday to You, Enthusiasts. How’s everyone doing?   Can’t say I have much to complain about.   I got my health and a roof over my head so, things could certainly be worse.   So, what’s going on in the WWE Universe?   Well, not much that grabs my attention but there is one rumor that did hold my interest.   It appears there’s a consensus that with the removal of Paul Heyman from his former creative duties, so goes the push that was fueling Aleister Black’s presentation.   The general word is that Vince McMahon soured on him for unknown reasons.   One of the theories is that Black lacks something in regards to superstardom.   Doesn’t have “It”, I suppose.   Well, I don’t have any problem with Black.   Yes, he’s not that imposing but his stats do make up for it.   It does appear he’s a skilled enough fighter to know how to properly deal with a large opponent.   But is that what the WWE Universe wants?   Well, I don’t think it matters that much.   I like Black’s dark appeal.   See

Happy Friday, Enthusiasts! How’s everyone doing?   Well I hope.   I’m teetering around falling into stir crazy but I think I’ll manage.   So, what’s going on in the WWE Universe?   What grabbed me is that Matt Riddle stated his side of the story and its circulating about the Social Medias.   I read the transcript didn’t bother to watch it.   Yet, I do like how I, for the most, part read the situation right.   It sounds like the lady in question is running on some sour grapes but it’s clear something transpired between the 2.   At this point, I feel it may be none of our business but it may scrap Riddle’s WWE career before it ever had a chance.   So far, I’m not impressed with him though he has some impressive stats.   I don’t really know if anyone cares for a Spicoli II in the WWE Universe is all.   At least Sean Penn can act.   That coupled with bad press may mean we won’t give him much of a hearing.   I’m not sure if that’s too bad but it’s par for the course when it comes to the W

If You've Forgotten, RAW Hopes to Remind You that Extreme Rules Await!

How Is It Going , Enthusiasts? Recovering from a festive weekend I hope.   Well, there is certainly some news circulating.   Last week we had the “interview” of Matt Riddle who explained to us why he’s barefoot all the time.   Naturally, we would have preferred an interview of different content but there’s no reason to not take the WWE’s hint of not to pry.   This is a tricky one.   I guess all we can really say is that Riddle better not get himself mixed up in any controversy again. Any indication of that may be enough to condemn the man to some sort of tomfoolery.   I’m simply not impressed enough to give the man too many hearings as of yet. Elsewhere, former WWE talent Sarah Logan announced that she is with child with Erik of the Viking Raiders.   I didn’t know that they were an item.   I knew she was married to someone else with the WWE but never put the semi-obvious together.   I’m happy for them.   I hope this proves an enriching event for them both. As for more WWE specifi

SmackDown Invites You to Enjoy Your Independence Day....

Happy Observed Independence Day, Enthusiasts! I hope you’re somewhere feasting ‘cause that’s what I’m gonna do.   So, there’s a lot of news swirling around the WWE Universe.   The bit that most grabbed me is that Kairi Sane is returning to her native Japan to basically live her life.   She’s married and the husband is in Japan so…there you have it.   Nia Jax is probably gonna get more heat for this ‘cause the feeling is that Sane’s recent injury has a lot to do with this decision.   Personally, I think it’s because Sane’s 20 pounds.   She may just not be built to take the bumps.   I’ve been saying they need bigger ladies if they’re going to have Jax in the mix.   The ladies need to be big enough to handle it.   I get that part of the spectacle is the David(a) vs. Goliath(a) juxtaposition but, let’s just be honest.   With times changing as they are, the question arises of whether this is a spectacle we need to continue.   Now, if little ladies want to go out and take the chance, fine

Okay, Let's See How RAW Handles This...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts? Mondays becoming easier…yeah, well if you have the luxury of being able to stay at home for it, I can see why.   So, he we are again in a No Man’s Land before a PPV.   There’s news circulating about the WWE Universe but nothing exciting enough for me to comment on.   What is somewhat interesting is the speculation of what will become of Tessa Blanchard.   Rumor has it that the WWE may consider taking on the controversial lady.   I’ve seen a bit of her stint with Impact and I wasn’t impressed.   Her winning the Men’s Championship came off more like spectacle than anything else.   Come see the Lady beat a Man sort of thing and given that she’s not imposing it reads more like playful titillation as opposed to a valid contest.   There’s definitely potential drama-wise but the current WWE Ladies have to wonder if this would downplay their accomplishments.   The Ladies of WWE have a great distinction at the moment.   They can boast their skill in the ring unlik

SmackDown Invites You to Relieve Some of This Tension...

Happy Friday, Enthusiasts. How you doing out there?   These are some thought-provoking times, aren’t they?      Well, remember the core of it.   Stay polite while out in the world.   None of us are perfect.   So, in other news, the only thing that caught my attention out in the WWE Universe is that Jinder Mahal went back under the knife for knee surgery.   Guess they just caught this ‘cause I was like, didn’t he just come back from surgery?   I thought they were going to start planting seeds towards a showdown with Drew McIntyre, now we get to see if they keep the title on him until Mahal is recovered or if that will just be a potential feud.    We shall see.   Such is the crux of the WWE Universe.   Though it promotes its own, it is still subject to Reality.   Shit happens just the same.   We’ll see how they adapt. As for tonight's SmackDown , we see how they explain Jeff Hardy’s return.   Not sure if we’re going to buy it but they’ll try to sell it.   Bayley & Sasha Banks

RAW Invites You to Think About Something Else for a Few Hours...

A Good Monday to You, Enthusiasts. How is everyone doing?  If it’s not a pandemic, it’s social unrest, isn’t it.  Well, here’s what I’ll say on that.  Remember what this injustice is really about.  It’s more than Racism.  It’s a matter of disrespect.  We must accept that an unfortunate aspect of Human Nature is prejudice.  With such a large brain, many of us don’t take the time to use it.  It generally boils down to being courteous.  Treat others as you would like to be treated.  Yet, too many of us use prejudice based on broad generalizations to validate disrespecting other human beings.  Question why a person has to feel better than/superior to someone else.  That’s where the root of this issue lies.  We’re all here with an equal shot.  Some of us are born with more going for them than others and it’s what we do with the proverbial hands we’re dealt that determine the merit of a person, not arbitrary means of categorization.  All anyone is asking is to not be rude.  How hard is that?

RAW Recalibrates Us for Money in the Bank...

How Are You Doing, Enthusiasts? Still hanging in there?   Do your best.   It shouldn’t be for too much longer but I understand.   Do what you can to stay sane.   So, here we are again, another Monday night when we see what the WWE has got for us this time around.   I think it will be kinda crazy for them once we’re back up and running.   Fans like us tend to get frenzied.   Many of us use this medium as an outlet for our pent-up frustrations.   That’s often best expressed through the fans’ reactions and without them, our general “release” is a bit stunted.   It’s definitely not as much fun.   I personally love reading the crowd responses to get a better sense of what’s landing and what’s not.   That’s more helpful than you think.   It allows you to be accepting or at least it should.   This sort of information allows me to accept The Fiend and other aspects I don’t care much for because I can see, someone else does like them so I don’t know everything.   It’s good to have that s

Not the Greatest News for SmackDown to Work With...

Image
How’s It Going, Enthusiasts? You hanging in there?   My sympathies to you if you’re in a state where you’re out of work due to the current circumstances.   This CoronaVirus is certainly having far reaching effects.   The very likes of which can be seen in this year’s WrestleMania.   The latest news could be a blessing in disguise as it is circulating that Roman Reigns is being replaced by Braun Strowman due to health concerns.   Is this the right call or does it hearken to make a call for postponement all together? Now, I hold the unpopular view that the bout with Leukemia is a work of some sort but I have also voiced that it’s to cover something else.   Given the nature of the work, I would say it’s of some concern but none of my business so I take the hint to not pry.   The gentleman is allowed some privacy.   So, in response to that, one may be offended that such a grave condition was used in such a way but that’s why I think it’s a private matter.   Who’s to say it isn’t j
