Yeah, RAW Is Here to Mess Stuff Up. Leave It SmackDown to Actually Get Things Done...

Greetings Enthusiasts! How’s this Tuesday faring for you?   Well, last night was actually kind of feisty, especially with Liv Morgan getting her dome rocked by Brie Bella.   We all know it was a bit of a botch but Morgan was tough.   Looks like she got evaluated for a concussion but it sounds like she’ll recover.   I missed that moment but it’s all over the wrassling sites. As for the ring action for RAW it was palatable.   Naturally, we were geared for the main event but I’m sure people liked seeing Finn Bálor and Bayley out there.   I don’t know if I’m ever gonna get Bálor but I respect his following.   He’s got some spunk for being out there regardless of being one of the runts of the litter.   He’s got moxie.   I’ll give him that.   As for the main event, with The Shield versus Baron Corbin with The Authors of Pain and the newly formed Dogs of War in Braun Strowman, Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler on the sidelines, as to be expected it did eventually become madness as

Feels Like Forever...Bet You Were Wondering What's Missing. Never Fear, RAW Is Here!!...

Greetings Enthusiasts! How is this Monday going for you so far?   Well, since we’re in between shows, not sure what to expect for tonight.   They can kinda free for all because the next big deal advertised is the big ol’Super Showdown in Australia.   Since that’s basically exhibition, it doesn’t really have anything to do with what’s generally going on but, when has that ever mattered? In any case, tonight we’ll see how Brie Bella fares against the ornery Ruby Riott.   Chad Gable may continue to get chances to charm alongside Bobby Roode.   Nia Jax gets to see who’s around to toss around.   Elias and Bobby Lashley are still not sure they like each other.   They’ll continue to try and figure it out in the ring.   We’ll also see if The Revival has any mainstream appeal as they battle the Tag Team Title holders in Drew McIntyre & Dolph Ziggler.   Should be entertaining…may get busted up by something…could a Braun Strowman be bored backstage with nothing to do?   ¯\_( ツ )_/¯

RAW Just Leaves the Real Work to SmackDown. Sure, Go Ahead and Leave the Mess After HIAC..

A Good Tuesday to You, Enthusiasts! I hope it finds you well.   So, last night wasn’t so bad.   Mr. Paul Heyman sat us down for a spell and told us how “things would go” in regards to Mr. Brock Lesnar and we’ll just have to sit back and see if they make it interesting.   The UnderTaker made his appearance as scheduled also but, seeing how that is now the “geriatric match ”   , not sure I’m really all that jazzed to see it.   I know Shawn Michaels has gotten himself into shape for this thing too but they’re just old.   I’m sorry. This is the Dad Match and not because “Dad’s” (Kane) there. I thought he had his hands full officiating over some town.   Isn't he busy?  Just feel like I'll be wincing through the whole thing, afraid one of them is gonna break a hip. Anyway, last night's finish wasn’t too bad either though some note the drop in ratings, there’s always a drop in the third hour. It’s 10pm on a school night.   People are probably going to bed.   But I digress

Why Are You Still on HIAC? RAW Has More Important Business to See to...

A Merry Monday to You, Enthusiasts. So, how did Hell in a Cell do for you?   I’ll be honest, I wasn’t disappointed but I thought some of the matches would be more interesting.   The best example being Jeff Hardy taking a hit for what seems like no reason to allow Randy Orton to get one of the more heeled victories I’ve seen in some time.   My point is why that way?   Since this match was hyped as the opener with Jeff Hardy doing something “he’s never done” and that it would be amazing only to see him drop from the top of the cell to crash through a table.   It’s either a shoot and he slipped or a work and they’re setting up some other angle but I can’t say what it would be.   It left much to be desired. As for the closer, I’m not surprised they made it a melee with Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler coming out prompting Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins to follow in Roman Reigns’ defense but I was a little surprised at the displeased response for Brock Lesnar coming out.   I didn’t m

There's the Cell. Hear There's Gonna Be Hell in It...

A Good Sunday to You, Enthusiasts! Today we have Hell in a Cell to feast on and I have to say, I’m a little curious.   Didn’t think I would be but the Go-Home shows served their purposes and got me good and interested in what happens.   Now, all they have to do is deliver.   So, do you think this night will be worth our $10 or will it be another day when we wonder why we keep watching?   I get the feeling we’ll keep watching. In any case, it’s hard to call the match order.   The Kick-off Show is on as I type and I would think, considering what’s on offer, I would think the New Day vs. Rusev & Aiden English will probably get kick off duty.   Then…maybe Drew McIntyre & Dolph Ziggler take on Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins.   Rollins and Ziggler have been solid and I think they would be a good match to set the tone of the evening.   Give everyone a nice baseline to equal.   Then, I’m thinking maybe Jeff Hardy vs. Randy Orton. This may go on later since Hardy is advertisin

Just Another Day SmackDown Has to Clean Up the Mess, Never Mind HIAC...

How’s it Going, Enthusiasts! So, RAW covered its tracks and even was fairly palatable last night.   Even Braun Strowman and Roman Reigns closing had some bite.   Wasn’t expecting it at all but was glad to see it.   We’ve all seen our share of lackluster PPVs, this time around we may just get our money’s worth. For tonight, SmackDown can focus on set-up and hopefully get us nice and jazzed for Sunday.   It’s not impossible but I would say they might want to consider adding some more crackle-pop to the mix.   Though RAW can be nonsensical, it tends to be exciting just because you can’t usually figure what hijinks will actually ensue.   SmackDown , usually tasked with having to bring order and sensibility to the mayhem by default, can often feel a little lackluster.   It can feel like going from a frat party to a Super Bowl barbecue.   Both are good times in their own right but definitely have different tones and crowds.   They need to light up the Go-Home shows a little more.

Hell in a Cell...Just Another Day for RAW...

A Merry Monday to You, Enthusiasts! So, what do we have to look forward to for tonight?   Well, mostly hype for Hell in a Cell and that big ol’Super Show.   Only thing confirmed is Natalya & Ronda Rousey teaming up to get some payback on Alexa Bliss & Alicia Fox.    Outside of that, Mr. Mick Foley should be making an appearance and Triple H may call out The Undertaker another time, we may get a face-off…it’s a little early but it might happen. We also can probably anticipate some more revenge coming from The Shield as they have a bone to pick with Braun Strowman & Company.   Now, since the last time we saw all of this, we were left scratching our heads and SmackDown had to clean up, I’m hoping they opt for mayhem of the fun type as opposed to going for quizzical faces.   If I understand the ebbs and flows of this franchise, I would say they may tease their retaliation out.   It may seem like they’re not going to do anything at all and then…at some point during the

When Does SmackDown EVER Fall on a Holiday? Do They Complain?...

Sometimes, I’m sure 😉 Greetings, Enthusiasts! How’s being back at work treating you?   To be honest, my day back wasn’t too bad but let’s get to the matter at hand, shall we.   So, I’m sure you had a hard time buying last night’s events on RAW as well but all I’m going to say is that if they’re going to do something so obviously a “work” as having the SHIELD arrested, processed and post bail in the course of 2 hours, they should have had more fun with the nonsense, especially if all that’s going to happen is that they get jumped when they “get back”. Geese, why even bother going back to the stadium if that’s all that’s waiting for them.   They should have cut and run to some degree.   We should not have known where they were at the end of the night.   Let the remaining Faces battle the Heels in Finn Bálor's defense.   They don’t have to win I’m just saying if it’s going to get “nuts” like that, might as well go ahead and get fucking nuts!   Have SmackDown roster make

RAW Honors Labor Day by Working...Is That Considered Ironic?

Image
Happy Labor Day, Enthusiasts! Hope yours is going splendidly.   As for myself I can’t complain.   Yet, as for tonight’s action, let’s see if there’s anything to get our panties in a bunch about.   A few big markers for tonight are the Bella Twins’ return.   They’re set to face the Riott Squad.   Now, since they’re returning the outcome isn’t so much a wonder as is if they’ll still be able to sell themselves out there.   They’ve been out the ring a minute and I’m not going to be the least bit surprised if there’s tons of ring rust.   I never really cared for these ladies in the ring though Nikki made great strides the last time I saw her action.   Definitely a night and day difference from when she debuted.   So, we’ll see if they maintained or if the lack of practice shows. Also, it looks like Shawn Michaels will be making an appearance.   Why, I can’t really say.   I’d assume it’s for some sort of Hell in a Cell stipulation or maybe it’s just to hype the upcoming Super Show
