SmackDown Back to a Familiar Role...Custodian...

What’s Happening, Enthusiasts.   So, this is a bit of a mixed bag in the wrestling world. Let’s start with all the big news of the past week or so, shall we?   Well, I didn’t touch on Ring of Honor closing up shop so, let me just touch on that. It does sound like the plan is to start back up next April but that is unfortunate. This pandemic is taking way more than lives, livelihoods have suffered as well and it is very unfortunate. I feel for these people and hope they find their way. They should take more solace in the fact that is more a sign of the times. Life changes one’s direction sometimes. When it does, it’s up to one to ensure that the change is for the better in some way. Best of luck to the next chapter of their lives.   The other big news was that Jon Moxley/Dean Ambrose admitted himself into a rehab facility for what I’m hearing is alcohol abuse. Now, when Moxley left WWE, I wasn’t happy about it but I felt that if the move made him happy by all means enjoy you

How’s Everything, Enthusiasts?   Hanging in there? Yeah, I know. Another Monday… Stay strong. So, it’s another day full of obvious news. Let’s talk about some of it. Might as well.   So, people or at least those who feel strongly enough to post on Twitter and social media platforms are up in arms about the NXT Releases, especially since word dropped during SmackDown. Drop it prior you could lose viewership. Drop it after and you risk overtime.   Regardless, the only names I recognized were Mercedes Martinez and Bronson Reed. Everyone else, I’ve never heard of. I kinda think that was the point. WWE is clearly restructuring and though it always sucks when people are let go, let’s face it, an overhaul has been overdue.   The pandemic was an enlightening time for all aspects of life. We collective

How Are You Doing, Enthusiasts?   Well, you don’t need me to know what the big news is. I knew it was better to hedge bets than to get starry eyed with the potentials. The Dark One, Aleister Black is back to being Tommy End as WWE has decided he wasn’t worth it. Given the backlash, now they probably know they were wrong. Will they manage to save face and somehow get him back? It’s hard to say because his dismissal may have more to do with what’s going on in the Entertainment Industry at large.   For those of you who don’t follow, AT&T has decided to unload WarnerMedia, the parent company for TNT and TBS, the TV homes for AEW. WarnerMedia is set to merge with Discovery , to become Warner Bros. Discovery. This isn’t set to go down until next year but the move could prove interesting. There are some sports claims to come with this merger but what we’re most concerned about is how does this potentially effect AEW. We already know that the plan is move them to TBS next year, so
