RAW Checks to See What's Next...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Welcome to a new week. So, there’s not much to talk about but there’s enough for a brief chat. I’ll try to keep to the point so we can get on with it. Care to bear with me for a little bit? Here we go.   Over in the Realm of AEW it looks like Collision did a little clean-up with its Will Ospreay angle. Jon Moxley and the Riders of Death have switched focus onto Kyle O’Reily so Ospreay explained himself. It’s simple, really. If you want to hit the next level, say what you want about his psycho methods, Mox gets you over the hurdle. And so that’s that.   This was more to signal Ospreay becoming Samoa Joe’s problem or is it the other way around as Joe was the one to call Ospreay out later in the night. Personally, this is enough ‘cause this course correction allows Ospreay to go whichever way he wants. He can have a sportsmanlike contest with Samoa Joe or perform a “psych out” of a plot twist and show that he’s been in cahoots with...

BackLash 2026 - RAW Fallout...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts? Welcome to another week. How did you like BackLash? I enjoyed it for what it was, though it seemed to prompt more questions than answers but I suppose that’s all right. That’s one tactic to maintain interest.   As for the Wrestling World, there a few things I can touch on so let’s get to it shall we. BackLash Fallout awaits!   Over in the Realm of AEW, I took a look at the Title Match on   “Fairway to Hell” the short Collision show that they had right at the end of BackLash. PAC, even with help from the Riders of Death, could not best Darby Allin this time around, evening out their head-to-head at 2-2.   There’s a lot that could go on from this point, so I’m curious. PAC opted for the unsportsmanlike conduct and half tried to “kill” Allin by tossing him off the 2nd level deck onto some set up and stacked tables. Allin only hit the top one but survived.   What caught my eye is that both Claudio Castagnoli and Jon M...

RAW Makes Everyone Get Ready for BackLash...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Welcome to Monday. Well, the IWC has had plenty to talk about this weekend. You’ll find I don’t have as much to say but it’s newsworthy enough for me to say something. I’ll get to it in a bit but let’s start as we do and then end with it. How’s that? Here we go.   In the Realm of AEW, matters were kept perfunctory with Will Ospreay abroad honoring some New Japan commitments. The Riders of Death just maintained face with some help from the The Dogs and won their 10-Man Tag. That’s all fine and good for now. AEW has their own internal speculations to concern themselves with. I don’t blame ‘em for sticking to business.   In the WWE Universe, some more releases changed the landscape but these were less shocking. The biggest being the New Day, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods, opting to take their business elsewhere. Word is they were asked to renegotiate their deals and what was on the table was less than ideal so they decided to see w...

RAW Sets the New Tone...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Welcome to a new week. So, for the most part the IWC is still reeling from last week’s WWE releases. It’ll get over it but it’s a disconcerting time for the fans. There’s a lot of talk of all the ads filling up WWE airspace and then there’s the news that SmackDown is returning to a 2-hour format. So, what are we going to be watching exactly? Room was made on the roster so we can barely get exposed to new talent and get inundated with consumerism?   Should we switch to AEW and/or TNA? Personally, I prefer MLW if I had to chose an alternative but they’re not on TV consistently enough. As for the named options, I’m not sure that’s realistic at this point but if these moves don’t improve the product, it may be an unexpected consequence. Both are still lacking in production values to be considered threats at present but both promotions do have decent talent, especially when it comes to those WWE didn’t value, and ads aren’t taking up half of t...

WrestleMania 42: RAW Fallout...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   How’d you enjoy WrestleMania 42. I liked it! It wasn’t the best show ever but it was cohesive and generally enjoyable. The IWC, as always, had plenty to say but the general consensus was that Night 2 was better than Night 1 though Night 2 seemed to keep to a tighter schedule. We wrapped up when it was still light out so, guess no complaints if you had work today. Everyone else was free to fill their night with whatever.     All in all, the former Shield members had a good showing. Though Seth Rollins didn’t win his match his and GUNTHER’s was match of Night 1 if you ask me. Yet, Roman Reigns vs. CM Punk lived up to its main event stature and took match of the weekend. The finish could be called a bit comical as you had 2 “old guys” trying to outlast the other but Reigns managed to hang on to victory.   The “surprises” were subtle as it appears Brock Lesnar called it quits after his clear loss to Oba Femi. You could call it a...

RAW Sends Everyone Home. WrestleMania Approaches!

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Enjoy the weekend? I made the most of mine. As for the Wrestling World, there are a few things to chat about but not much so this shouldn’t be that long of a post. Let’s get to it so we can get on with the evening, shall we?   In the Realm of AEW, they had their Dynasty PPV and naturally I partook to see if there were any implications for the Future. From what I could gather, in character development only but this is not a bad thing. It’s still early yet and understanding our players better informs us of what’s to come.   When it comes to Jon Moxley and Will Osprey it is a matter of Moxley being a man of his word. He warned Osprey throughout the set up for this match that he would let Osprey do all the work and Osprey just “didn’t hear him” and did himself in. One could say the match was won from the onset but when Osprey decided to “take his time” as opposed to dispatch of Mox, the mistake was made right there.   Osprey...

RAW Knows It's Getting Close...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   A Merry Monday to you. I hope you had nice Easter weekends, regardless of whether you celebrate. The Wrestling World seems to have taken a little break to honor the religious holiday so, there’s not much for me to chat about but there’s a few things we can discuss. Ready to knock this out? Let’s get to it.   In the Realm of AEW, we just have a little more information on Chris Jericho’s return. Long story short, word going around is WWE was only interested in a retirement run and clearly Jericho feels there’s still life in him so, AEW it is. We’ll see what happens when he’s ready to hang it up but for now, expect him to pop up on AEW and its affiliates as he and their Powers that Be see fit.   In the WWE Universe, the talk concerns the return of Pat McAfee. It’s supposed to explain at least one of the voices in Randy Orton’s head. What’s winding down the grapevine is this is at TKO’s request. Given the partnership with ESPN and pe...

RAW Takes It to the Next Level...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Welcome to Monday. There’s not a lot going on in the Wrestling World but there’s a few things we can chat about regardless. That said, this should be a short post so, let’s get on with it so we can get on with the week.   Over in the Realm of AEW, there’s not much to speak of. The Riders of Death had some business to take care of on last week’s Collision as they allowed Daniel Garcia to say hello and good-bye to his former cohorts in Private Party (PP). The Riders wiped off any smiles PP had on their faces and then proceeded to turn their attention to Will Osprey.   Looks like PAC will have at him for free on TV time as he and Osprey are set to battle on this week’s Dynamite . I feel I have to watch on principle but we’ll see if this remains straightforward. I think my point will be proven once this display is witnessed and then the question comes as to whether Osprey decides to drop the numbered canvas and just box or “somethin...

RAW Goes Just a Little Faster, Not Too Much Though...

Back where it belongs 😉 How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Welcome to the official workaround for my blog. For some reason, I can’t access my usual Blogger Dashboard. I’ve inquired and the bug has been reported but no solution yet so, I just created a new one. The  previous blog  is still accessible, I just can’t make any updates and such. There is currently no landing page for me to work on. So, feel free to refer back to the old blog at your leisure but until the issue is resolved, all new content will be posted here.   Thankfully, there’s not much going on at present as the Riders of Death had business down in Mexico and we’re still digesting last week’s  SmackDown.  It went down easy enough but you could say that they may be dovetailing a bit off of AEW. Not to say the Jacob Fatu's and Drew McIntyre's car crash rivaled Darby Allin’s and Gabe Kidd’s but you could make the further conjecture that WWE affiliates are watching the AEW product. I wouldn’t worry ...

RAW Picks Up the Pace, Just a Little...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Welcome to another Monday. Hope you had a good weekend. I found mine recuperative. We’ll see what this week holds. There’s a little bit to talk about in the Wrestling World so, let’s have a little chat. Here we go!   In the Realm of AEW, the Revolution PPV was had and there were some surprises. The most notable of which being Ronda Rousey proving to be an ally to Marina Shafir. For me, this is an indication of the Future. How exactly it goes I can’t yet figure but I can see Shafir skipping out on the Riders of Death in time to side with her “more popular friend” yet that all depends on how often Rousey is going to be around.   Given Rousey’s reputation, I don’t see her wanting to play “second fiddle”. She could easily make Shafir choose since Rousey is offering up her “valuable time”. Could this be the first crack in the Riders’ resolve? We’ll see. It is still quite early yet, but I like the possibilities. More than I would have ...

RAW Reminds Us It's that Time of Year...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Welcome to another week. This was a pretty quiet weekend. There are a few things happening in the Wrestling World but you know by now that I’m only interested in a few distinct things and those weren’t in action much so, this should be a short post. Let’s just get to it and knock it out.   In the Realm of AEW the focus is on Revolution. The Future is ticking along as it should yet, from what I saw, I would say it’s about time to have Konosuke Takeshita to have a Face Turn. Like I said before, he’s reading too much like a gentleman to be with the Don Callis Family. Kazuchika Okada, now that’s a heel. Arrogant, flamboyant, that’s what you want strutting around for the bad guys. But when it comes to Takeshita I’m like, “Why are you over here?”. He needs to have a falling out with the Callis Family. That way, he can shit talk with Okada 日本語で。   I could be late to the party on that one but that’s what I’d do. Takeshita’s just too nice...
