All Right, RAW Wants to Refocus on Money in the Bank...

A Good Monday to You, Enthusiasts! The quarantine continues and I suppose we have no choice but to soldier on.   And so, after praising the great Triple H last Friday, we now look to RAW to see what we have to look forward to.   Money in the Bank is a little over 2 weeks away and tonight’s action is just lightly teased according to what’s being advertised.   I suppose the most interesting bit of WWE news floating around is that we can expect to see Samoa Joe back on commentary soon.   He seems to have fun with it and it’s nice to see the WWE is willing to keep him in the game in some way until he’s cleared to return to the in-ring action.   Hopefully, we can see more of that sort of thing as everyone decides their respective workarounds for these current times. As for advertised action, we can expect to see a contract signing which means we should expect it to deteriorate into madness though that outcome has been 50-50 of late.   I don’t mind the WWE adhering to its own spec

How’s Everybody Doing this Friday? Well, I hope.   Guess we’re all just acclimating.   Anyway, this has been an interesting week in the wrestling world.   We’ve got some gossip to bandy about as Carmella and Corey Graves inadvertently got real on Instagram/Twitter recently.   It’s certainly a…defining moment if you haven’t seen it already.   We’ll see if they get through it I suppose but in Graves’ defense I got what he meant but he could have worded it better is all. In any case, tonight we will celebrate Triple H which I have no problem with I just would have saved this for his birthday but, I suppose that doesn’t have anything to do with when he joined the company.   So, in between a couple of Money in the Bank qualifying matches we’ll see a bunch of clips of his finer moments and I’m sure hear some comments on how awesome he is.   I have to always say that the man fooled me during the Attitude Era.   He got me livid and only when I was older did I realize he was doing h

A Good Monday to You, Enthusiasts. How’s everyone doing?   I can only hope that everyone is hanging in there.   So, in spite of low ratings, both RAW and SmackDown have been solid of late.   They have had clear trains of thought which any longstanding viewer can attest, isn’t always a sure thing in the WWE Universe and have been very amusing.   It doesn’t seem so much like a bad high school rehearsal anymore.   It’s actually has been palatable television.   The live audience is definitely missed but they are beginning to see that it doesn’t make sense to film as if they are there and they are experimenting with promos and backstage segments because those don’t require the live feedback.   It’s just common sense. In any case, word has it that Money in the Bank will remain set for May 10 th so with a few weeks to go, the slow build continues.   We'll see how the content changes now that the roster cuts are official.   We’ll also see if they address Shayna Baszler anglin

Even in the Face of Sobering News, SmackDown Goes On...

Good Evening, Enthusiasts. Guess you can say this is a bittersweet time as we have received word of the WWE furloughs and lay-offs.   This sort of thing is sweeping across the world.   Personally, I’m surprised I was one of those who were spared myself but I always feel that it’s only a matter of time.   The bittersweet-ness comes in the circumstances.   One doesn’t have to feel too bad because this is the state of affairs at the moment.   Everyone is feeling it.   Many of my friends have faced similar circumstances.   It’s just the way it is right now.   Thankfully, we know this is temporary. As for the noted released roster members, I would say Erick Rowan, Sarah Logan and Rusev were the most surprising.   I always thought that the Wyatt Family would be revived to some degree and I suppose since Luke Harper is now Brodie Lee on AEW, I guess they figured it was time to cut their losses.   Logan comes as a surprise as she just helped sell Shayna Baszler with her “injury” and
