How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Happy Friday! Goodness, this has been an eventful week, hasn’t it? Well, it appears to be ending on a more hopeful note but there’s a lot going on outside of the Ludwig Kaiser/El Grande Americano II incident. This is probably gonna be a long post so, perhaps get into it after the show. This Memorial Day Weekend is jam packed! Let’s break it down.   We’ll start in the Realm of AEW as they’re getting ready for their Double or Nothing PPV that’s going down on Sunday. They had a double-header show this week holding both Dynamite and Collision together. Per usual, I’m overseeing The Future and if I didn’t know better, we got our first tastes of what’s to come in the Part 1 of the showdown between Kyle O’Reilly and Jon Moxley. As we know, O’Reilly ain’t scared of Mox. If anyone’s got Mox’s number, it’s O’Reilly so this was a loaded match in that respect. It was no surprise that it went the distance and I appreciated how O’Reilly had no problem ...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Happy Friday! Well, there’s not a whole hell of a lot going on today, but I have a few things I can chat about. Let’s knock it out then we can get on with the weekend. Sound good? Here we go.   So, in the Realm of AEW the Riders of Death continue their alliance with Will Ospreay. After a thoughtful discussion with Jon Moxley during a Rider training session, Ospreay took this food for thought and applied it in his match against the up-and-coming Ace Austin. I have to say, I like Ospreay learning how to “freestyle”. Austin was a valiant opponent but just didn’t have enough to best the Aerial Assassin.   Yet, the second part of the story had Samoa Joe and The Opps faction coming out to question this whole association. So much so, that they felt they should “force” Ospreay to reconsider but the Riders of Death made that not so easy. Is there a showdown on the horizon? It would appear so but that’s not my problem with this.   ...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Happy Friday! Well, the IWC is kinda strange right now. It’s just full of rumors and speculations. I suppose that’s always but the line between fact and fiction has never been so blurred. You ever stop to think that all of it may just be talk? There may be morsels of truth here and there but I can’t really believe half of what’s coming across my feed at the moment. None of it is substantiated and we’ll probably never know the truth because we’ll be told whatever they want to tell us, at least when it comes to the WWE. I’ll elaborate on that in a minute but first let’s see what else is going on and then I’ll get into all this…whatever.   So, in the land of AEW the Future appears “cloaked” at the moment and that’s exactly as it should be. The Riders of Death have taken in Will Ospreay and so far, their influence appears to be positive. Yet Ospreay maintains he’s not on the team just calling a truce for now and we’ll see how that evolves. Su...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Happy Friday! Well, there’s a lot of chatter in the IWC this week. I guess there always is but it’s been a bit more interesting and engaging to me of late. Gives us a few things to chat about. I don’t think I’ll be too long-winded but I won’t be holding back either so, we’ll see where I end up. Let’s get to it, shall we?   In the Realm of AEW, I took a look at the Riders of Death’s tenuous acquisition of Will Ospreay and I can say that it’s a good start. The tone was nice and accessible. I could see that fun could be had but it could get “heavy” with the “wrong” exchange or look. It’s all very…we’ll see which is fair for this point in the story. Very good, gentlemen. This makes me generally less apprehensive. You want to have fun with this, not overshoot the mark. We like wrestling but most of us have other things to do 😉   Yet, the interesting news circulating in regards to AEW is the notion that Warner Bros./Discovery has no i...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Happy Friday! Well, it was a quiet one but news of WWE releases just dropped so I’ll get into that in a little bit. Besides that, nothing too crazy has been going on this past week. Yet, we got enough to have a chat so, let’s get into it, shall we?   To start, let’s swing by the Realm of AEW. They’re doing their thing but there’s been some talk about Lio “Blackheart” Rush’s “demented” reimagining of late. So, I took a couple ganders at it. I saw his match on Dynamite from last week out of curiosity and then took a look at this week's for the same reason. Commenters don’t care for it but I kinda understand it in theory. Lio Rush is like 75lbs on a good day so, he’s a little guy and that’s hard to get over when you got big brutes walking around. How does this little dude get the W? Well, a “psych out” can work. I don’t mind a person using their smarts or crazy to be believable out there.   However, what people generally don’t like...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Happy WrestleMania Weekend! Well, say what you will about the lead up, I’m mildly intrigued. Some plans haven’t worked out others did splendidly so, we’ll see what we get. I’m staying cautiously optimistic but I have personal incentive to make it a good time regardless so, I should have fun.   As for the Wrestling World, it looks like most promotions are getting out of the way. AEW aired Dynamite and Collison on Wednesday and Thursday respectively so there’s no competition. On both nights of WrestleMania, the first hour will be shown on the ESPN network so if you got Live TV streaming or cable, you can at least partially partake if you don’t have the app. It should be an eventful weekend, come what may.   Circling back to the Realm of AEW, we got some crumbs for the Future as we saw Jon Moxley take on the “16-year-old” in Nick Wayne on Collision. Wayne went ahead and had his Mother by his side. Mox wasn’t in action on Dynamite ...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Happy Friday. So, there’s not all that much going on. Well, not a lot for me to comment on but you know, that’s not necessarily a bad thing. AEW prepares for Dynasty this weekend while WWE sets the final pieces on the stage for WrestleMania so it’s like a quiet before the storm. There are a few things I can chat about, though so let’s get to it then to our weekend.   Over in the Realm of AEW, it appears Will Osprey took Jon Moxley’s advice and “used his head” by flying in some back up to help him deal with the Riders of Death. He got his lady love, Alex Windsor along with Francesco Akira, Henare and Callum Newman to arrive just in time while he was taking it to Moxley in the Parking Lot on this week’s Dynamite. And then they went at it officially at the end of the show in a big ole 4-on-4 Match.   This was a lot of fun. And, if I didn’t know better, I’d say Osprey is beginning to have fun without the numbered canvas. See, it’s ni...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Happy Good Friday, regardless of your belief system. Easter is special to me because I am an “Easter Baby”. I was born on an Easter Weekend 😊 So, happy birthday to all the other Easter Babies out there! We’re a special breed.   In any case, as far as the Wrestling World is concerned, there are some things going on. Enough for me to have a decent chat so let’s get into it and then you can go off to your weekend, whatever you choose to do with it.   In the Ream of AEW, the big news is the return of Chris Jericho. He greeted the Dynamite Crowd in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada and then left it to everyone else to have a great show. From what I witnessed it was a solid show. I checked in on the PAC vs. Will Osprey match and it worked out much like I thought. PAC is a little beast , I tell ya. He’s made of different stuff, which is why it’s hard for me to accept his losses but we’ll just say he “got ahead of himself” this time around a...
