How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Happy WrestleMania Weekend! Well, say what you will about the lead up, I’m mildly intrigued. Some plans haven’t worked out others did splendidly so, we’ll see what we get. I’m staying cautiously optimistic but I have personal incentive to make it a good time regardless so, I should have fun.   As for the Wrestling World, it looks like most promotions are getting out of the way. AEW aired Dynamite and Collison on Wednesday and Thursday respectively so there’s no competition. On both nights of WrestleMania, the first hour will be shown on the ESPN network so if you got Live TV streaming or cable, you can at least partially partake if you don’t have the app. It should be an eventful weekend, come what may.   Circling back to the Realm of AEW, we got some crumbs for the Future as we saw Jon Moxley take on the “16-year-old” in Nick Wayne on Collision. Wayne went ahead and had his Mother by his side. Mox wasn’t in action on Dynamite ...

RAW Sends Everyone Home. WrestleMania Approaches!

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Enjoy the weekend? I made the most of mine. As for the Wrestling World, there are a few things to chat about but not much so this shouldn’t be that long of a post. Let’s get to it so we can get on with the evening, shall we?   In the Realm of AEW, they had their Dynasty PPV and naturally I partook to see if there were any implications for the Future. From what I could gather, in character development only but this is not a bad thing. It’s still early yet and understanding our players better informs us of what’s to come.   When it comes to Jon Moxley and Will Osprey it is a matter of Moxley being a man of his word. He warned Osprey throughout the set up for this match that he would let Osprey do all the work and Osprey just “didn’t hear him” and did himself in. One could say the match was won from the onset but when Osprey decided to “take his time” as opposed to dispatch of Mox, the mistake was made right there.   Osprey...

SmackDown Knows It's Close...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Happy Friday. So, there’s not all that much going on. Well, not a lot for me to comment on but you know, that’s not necessarily a bad thing. AEW prepares for Dynasty this weekend while WWE sets the final pieces on the stage for WrestleMania so it’s like a quiet before the storm. There are a few things I can chat about, though so let’s get to it then to our weekend.   Over in the Realm of AEW, it appears Will Osprey took Jon Moxley’s advice and “used his head” by flying in some back up to help him deal with the Riders of Death. He got his lady love, Alex Windsor along with Francesco Akira, Henare and Callum Newman to arrive just in time while he was taking it to Moxley in the Parking Lot on this week’s Dynamite. And then they went at it officially at the end of the show in a big ole 4-on-4 Match.   This was a lot of fun. And, if I didn’t know better, I’d say Osprey is beginning to have fun without the numbered canvas. See, it’s ni...

SmackDown Only Knows How to Follow Suit...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Happy Good Friday, regardless of your belief system. Easter is special to me because I am an “Easter Baby”. I was born on an Easter Weekend 😊 So, happy birthday to all the other Easter Babies out there! We’re a special breed.   In any case, as far as the Wrestling World is concerned, there are some things going on. Enough for me to have a decent chat so let’s get into it and then you can go off to your weekend, whatever you choose to do with it.   In the Ream of AEW, the big news is the return of Chris Jericho. He greeted the Dynamite Crowd in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada and then left it to everyone else to have a great show. From what I witnessed it was a solid show. I checked in on the PAC vs. Will Osprey match and it worked out much like I thought. PAC is a little beast , I tell ya. He’s made of different stuff, which is why it’s hard for me to accept his losses but we’ll just say he “got ahead of himself” this time around a...

SmackDown Keeps Up and Stays Loose...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Well, I got back into my original blog. Can’t say what happened but I’m glad to be back to my usual blog space. I got a lot of content on here πŸ˜‰ I may switch over to II in the future but just not yet. Had to do what I had to do in this particular situation.   In any case, there are few things that caught my eye this week. Nothing too crazy. I see that Roman Reigns was on The Tonight Show last night but I didn’t catch any of that. Never do. I don’t know. I feel I have to limit my wrestling intake still. I’m a fan but not that much of a fan. They have me twice a week and on PPVs so that’s enough, right? Besides, I was taken in more by what was going on in the Realm of AEW.   As you’ve gathered, I’m monitoring the formulation of the Future and this week didn’t have much to directly do with it but that’s the point. It’s not outwardly supposed to. Nevertheless, the Riders of Death were at work against the mixed team of SkyFlight. ...

SmackDown Holds the Pace but Knows the Music...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   I can understand if it’s a bittersweet Friday as many of us mourn the loss of Chuck Norris. I have to say that I didn’t care much for him in my youth. He seemed a corny alternative if you were a true Martial Arts/Action movie fan. I was more interested in Jet Li back then and to a lesser degree Jackie Chan but over the years, especially when the Chuck Norris jokes started, my stance on him softened. And so, I will start with a soft tribute to him by sharing the 5 jokes I found the funniest. Then we’ll get into the usual business. Top 5 Chuck Norris Jokes   Chuck Norris is so tough, when exposed to the Coronavirus, the virus was in quarantine for a month. Chuck Norris is so tough he can start a fire with an ice cube. When Chuck Norris does division, there are no remainders. Chuck Norris once kicked a horse in the chin. Its descendants are now known as giraffes. The only time Chuck Norris was ever wrong, was when he thought he had made a mi...

SmackDown Fallout - Elimination Chamber 2026

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Hope you’re enjoying your Friday. I’m about to πŸ˜‰ But first let’s just take a quick gander at what’s going on in the Wrestling World, then we can get on with our weekend. Sound good? Let’s get it started.   Over in the Realm of AEW, it looks like they had a meeting and decided it doesn’t hurt to talk a little more shit and keep the mood light. The Future is going to take a while to develop so, might as well have fun doing it.   I checked in to see Our Man Jon Moxley take on the submission specialist in Hechicero. It was a decent match. More a showcase for Hechicero than anything else but Mox being the draw he continued his winning streak. Konosuke Takeshita showed up after to stare him down since Revolution is next weekend.   Yet, what caught my interest was the promo the Riders of Death cut later in the show. They there were calling the Don Callis Family pussies.   I think Wheeler Yuta was the funniest bemoaning h...

SmackDown Gets Everything Back on Track, Then Sends Everyone Home for Elimination Chamber...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Hope you’re having a great Friday. This one has been chill for me so, can’t complain. There are some things to chat about in the Wrestling World but we’ll begin with what’s happening in the Entertainment World since there are some trickle-down effects. Let’s begin, shall we?   So, Paramount was eventually successful in their hostile takeover of Warner Bros/Discovery. Netflix basically said eff it and let the babies have their bottles. Given the current political climate in the U.S., many see this as President Trump solidifying a hold on some of the media given that one of the outlets held by Warner Bros. is the news network CNN. Paramount also holds ownership over the CBS Network which has been decidedly conservative.   This will have some implications for AEW but what they’ll be is hard to say at present. There won’t be the threat of any crossover now that Netflix is out of the picture but it’s hard to say if the new owners even...

SmackDown Does Its Job and Follows RAW's Lead to Elimination Chamber...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Happy Friday. I took it easy today and I’ll take it easier soon but first let’s take a look at what’s going on in the Wrestling World. Something always is but that doesn’t guarantee my interest. That’s neither good nor bad, simply the state of affairs. So, with that let’s take a brief look at what does and get on with our lives.   In the Realm of AEW, the “feud of the century” continues to percolate as Jon Moxley proceeds to battle any and all Don Callis Family takers for a shot at the Continental Championship. The week’s Dynamite offered up a face-off between Our Man Moxley and this old school brute in Mark Davis. It felt like 1985 seeing him. He’s just a big, burly dude. He’s half a mess and mean. Didn’t know they made ‘em like that anymore. Looks like someone’s big scruffy dad after a few beers and  sitting on the couch,  ready wrassle. Well, he did plenty to put a dent in Moxley and half did it too but in the end, Mox preva...

SmackDown Fully Embraces Elimination Chamber...and Spreads Seeds for WrestleMania...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   It’s kind of a sad end of the week as a lot of Dawson’s Creek fans mourn the passing of James Van Der Beek. It’s too bad but we could see he was fading fast. Cancer is absolutely no joke. It’s always worse when it takes one of the good ones and Van Der Beek appears to have been one. Godspeed, good sir.   As for the Wrestling World, there are various bits of chatter but all I’m hearing concerns WrestleMania. We’ll get into that but first let’s visit the Realm of AEW.   They’re preparing for their Australia PPV and this week’s Dynamite was quite heavy with the Riders of Death and the Don Callis Family. Callis is growing on me to be honest. I know nothing of his career but I kinda like his Vegas Uncle Persona. It definitely works as a heel. Besides that, I don’t have much to comment on. The Future appears to be slowly inching towards us but in the meantime, these 2 crews seem to be having fun roughing each other up.   To b...

Royal Rumble 2026 - SmackDown Fallout...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   It’s another Friday. Looking forward to getting some extra sleep this weekend. As for the Wrestling World, there’s not a whole hell of a lot going on that interests me. I’m glancing at it though, but nothing raised a full eyebrow. Given that, this should be relatively short so, let’s knock it out.   Over in the Realm of AEW, the Future is progressing nicely as the Riders of Death continue to wage a “war” with the Don Callis Family. This week, it was a Trios Match as Jon Moxley took PAC and Daniel Garcia into battle against Konosuke Takeshita, Josh Alexander and El Clon. The high points were the exchanges between PAC and El Clon for sure. PAC appears to be finding his new normal after some injury setbacks. There were some nice exchanges between Mox and Takeshita as well as Takeshita has made it clear he aims to come for Mox’s Continental Championship.   The match was relatively clean though there were a few shenanigans from Alexan...
