Happy Friday, Enthusiasts! How’s everything going? Have to say it’s a bit of a slow news day in the Wrestling World but there’s enough to have a brief post. Shall we chat just a little?  Generally speaking, there are few of people out of action with injuries across the WWE Universe and the Realm of AEW. In AEW, the most notable is Eddie Kingston out with a knee injury. Given the looks of him, it’s surprising that’s all but he’s got to sit out for a little while. In the WWE Universe, Asuka, and Ivar are out while they heal up. Not devastating, but always too bad to see someone who loves to play sidelined. Let’s wish them full and speedy recoveries.  Besides that, we can get prepared for a full night of King/Queen of the Ring action on tonight’s SmackDown. The tournament starts to heat up as all the juicier showdowns start to take shape. Nia Jax will see what all the fuss is about when it comes to Jade Cargill. Tama Tonga will cut his teeth against LA Knight. Bianca Belair will see if T

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts? I’m going to start today with a movie review because I saw The Iron Claw over the weekend and man , it’s tragic. I knew the Von Erich Family story was but jeez, it’s a bit of a rough watch. However, there is a bittersweetness to it and I do commend Zac Efron’s performance as Kevin Von Erich. Jeremy Allen White is also solid as Kerry but he tends to swing for the fences when he gets the job so, I feel that goes without saying. It is a downer though, so chase it with a comedy if you don’t want to dampen the rest of your day or night. I feel it’s a fair retelling of their story. Naturally, some things were changed for the sake of storytelling and I don’t have the full story, just what was on Dark Side of the Ring so, there’s got to be some omissions. Kevin Von Erich gave the film his blessing for the most part but has said the portrayal of his Father, Fritz, was not accurate. Kevin stated he was a “good and honorable man”.   How’s It Going, Enthusiasts? Enjoying this Friday? I was hoping to get something done today but it didn’t happen. That means, next week 😉 In the meantime, we got a few things to chat about. As usual, it’s nothing too shocking but we can get a little convo out of it. You up for it? Let’s do it. On the outskirts of the Realm of AEW, it appears someone in Ric Flair’s orbit had a little chat with him and Flair has reconsidered his recent actions at Piesano’s and has issued an apology. Footage of the mild altercation circulated and most commenters would say that Flair didn’t come off looking the better man. If anything, the staff at Piesano’s were offered praise for keeping their professional faces on while Flair complained.  I didn’t watch the whole video but without full context, it’s hard to say who’s in the right or wrong. Yet, Flair does appear to be the A-hole this time around. I’m glad he opted to make amends. It’s best to just file this one under “My Mistake”.... In the WWE Unive

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Did you enjoy Le BackLash? I have to give it to the French Crowd. They were amazing! They definitely added something to the show. I don’t think it would have been half as interesting without them. I think that gives WWE incentive to come back more often. They certainly earned it. Apologies for not pre-posting. I’m in the midst of relocating, so posts will be more to the point and I may have to omit them sometimes depending on what’s going on. This will be the case for the next few months but I should be more or less settled by Summer Slam. Please bear with me.   Let’s start on the periphery of the WWE Universe tonight as Ric Flair has gotten himself some press recently. Apparently, he wasn’t too thrilled with a dining establishment in Florida. It’s unclear why Flair was ultimately asked to leave the restaurant but Flair took to Twitter/X to share his chagrin. Bonsoir, Mes Amis! Comment allez-vous? Moi? Je vais très bien. Mais bientôt, meilleure! I’ve been learning. Took it in high school, figured I ought to finish the job 😉 In any case, we have a special French SmackDown tonight. It’s already recorded and ready to go, so let’s have a little chat and prepare for the replay. First order of business, we’ll start in the Realm of AEW. According to Matt Hardy, his brother Jeff is ready for action. Having been on the Injured List due to a broken nose, he was recently cleared. It’s hard to say when to expect him. Given there’s a lot of miles on him, many feel it may be time to hang it up. Not sure what that would do to him, really. He seems like a type that may have to do it until he dies. I don’t want to see that happen, naturally but I get the feeling it’s sort of his joie de vivre , so to speak. It gets him out of bed in the morning, I would think. It’s an uncertain time for the Hardys for sure. Let’s hope some agreeable medium is found. Back i
