Elimination Chamber 2025 - RAW Fallout

A Merry Monday to You, Enthusiasts!   My goodness!  Well, as you know there’s plenty to talk about and we’ll get into it. This past Elimination Chamber was by far the best one I’ve ever seen but it leaves us all wondering. What is a WWE Universe with a Heel John Cena? The argument can be made that this was always the case but if so, how do they make operating with the “lifted veil” palatable? It looks like we’re about to see. Let’s not waste any more time and just get to it.   Though the impossible/inevitable happened, most would say that the Unsanctioned Match between Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn was Match of the Night. I wouldn’t deny it but I have to say the Men’s Elimination Chamber is what held the bulk of my interest.   I thought it was cleanly executed and truly presented who our “characters” are. Say what you will, CM Punk is an “Anti-Face”. He won’t bend to the Corporate Will, but he will make them money. Seth Rollins continues to hold old grudges. ...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   We’re bracing for another round of wind over here in Southern California. It’s not so bad in my part of town but the advisory allowed me an extra remote day so, really can’t complain. As for the rumblings in the Wrestling World, there are some but only a couple caught my eye. That should keep things brief tonight so, let’s not dally and get the chat over with.   We’ll let the Realm of AEW do its thing for now. I’ll chime in when it feels right. Yet, the WWE Universe has some options to consider. Bad Bunny wants another shot at a match and he wants to be full on Heel. I guess that could work. You guys know me. Since he’s not exactly a menacing type, I’d have him lean on comedy heavily but I’m down. Bunny understands the assignment so, why not? I don’t know where this happens, but I don’t mind if it does. We’ll see how it all comes together.   In other news, Scott Steiner’s son, Brock Rechsteiner, was offered a NIL (Next in Line) c...

Bash in Berlin 2024 - Matches of Interest

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts? I like how this PPV is shaping up. Once again the home Crowd throws an interesting wrench into the plans. If things were set, are they now changing? I can't and won't say but I think how this Crowd is operating will be a big factor in how this show goes. Let me just get into it. First up, Gunther vs. Randy Orton. Well, I think Orton should tag him back in this one. Gunther spanked him like a baby or at least if you tuned in at the right time, that's what it would look like. So, I think it’s only fair that Orton does his own version of showing Gunther who he is.  Now, this will be delicate being on Gunther’s technical home turf. We can split the hairs in his being Austrian but I’m not sure when that PPV happens so, this will have 2 do. Yet, that’s also where the chance for Orton lies. I don’t doubt WWE will be back but it’s not exactly guaranteed so, everyone abroad has to make the most of what they get. So, what’s the greater moment? Witnessing ...

Clash at the Castle - Matches of Interest

How Are You Doing, Enthusiasts? What did I miss? Anything good? Well, since I know I’ll be joining after the fact, I figured I might as well knock this out sooner than later. You all know how this sector of the world works. After it’s done, who cares? Yeah, we can play it back but it’s always about what’s next.  So, what’s next? I don’t know and I’m not sure WWE knows either. That’s kinda what’s cool about this time. It’s genuine new territory. And territory we couldn’t get to under the old regime. It is a New Era.  But does that mean it’s better? So far, so good. Yet, this evening should show whether we’re on the right track or need some retooling. Here are my matches of interest.  First, the Ladies offer Piper Niven vs. Bayley and if you ask me, it could go either way. What’s interesting about this is that we have recent commentary from Eric Bischoff stating that Bayley isn’t up to snuff. Her promos should be better is all I really heard. Her matches are solid, though s...

Elimination Chamber 2024 - Matches of Interest

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts? Did you like Elimination Chamber? I’m about to check it out for myself. Given the nature of this particular PPV, where it is, is the big deal so I’m not so put out by having to catch up after the fact. I am looking forward to PPV’s becoming more global and so, posts will be as they are in those cases. Life doesn’t stop because they decided to go down under. As for the matches that have my interest, there aren’t many given there are only 4 on the card so, I’m looking at the Tag Team more than anything else. Pete Dunne has been allowed to reclaim himself and Tyler Bate definitely makes a case for those with skill as opposed to size. I managed to avoid spoilers so far, being out and about makes that relatively easy, but given that these blokes are still up and coming in terms of the main roster, I doubt they take the titles but hopefully they make it clear that they might someday. Besides that, the only thing I’m looking at is “The Grayson Waller Effect”. Give...

SmackDown Offers Some Seasons Greetings...

Happy Friday, Enthusiasts! I hope the week went well for you. I have to say, it would be wrong for me to complain. As for news in the Wrestling World, you know as well as I do there are at least a couple things to talk about. Let’s get right into it, shall we. So, let’s just lead with the big news. Mandy Rose was released this week due to explicit content she was posting to one of her fan sites. Now, what appears to be the kicker here is that this seems to have been sudden. It doesn’t sound like she was spoken to before this. It was discovered and she was subsequently released. I’m not sure what the fine print on her contract is, but she may have some room for legal recourse but I doubt it goes that way.  This seems more like Rose is being made example of to a certain degree. There was already the talk of having a fan site being forbidden in the WWE Universe. They eased up on it but it looks like WWE is cracking down again, at least depending on what someone is posting. Rose may ha...

SmackDown Plants a Post on the Way to the Royal Rumble...

Happy Friday, Enthusiasts! Did the week treat you well? I have to say, it had some ups and downs but in terms of ups and downs, they were relatively trivial so I won’t complain.  As for the Wrestling World, there’s a lot of stuff circulating through the grapevine but I’ll just pick a few of the more prominent points to chat about. Shall we? So, there are some peripheral rumblings going on that I’m going to start with. First, Ric Flair is out giving his 2¢ on Vince Russo and Seth Rollins on his podcast recently. Well, what he’s saying isn’t exactly new but it keeps the conversation going, so to speak. He doesn’t care much for what Russo has to say. Russo is clinging on to relevance any way he can in Flair’s opinion. As for Rollins, well, he can’t hate a man for siding with his wife but in Flair’s opinion, Rollins has to get over the whole “The Man” thing. I think Flair should too, to be honest.  Most of us know who Ric Flair is for sure, but most of us are too young to r...
