RAW Takes a Breather Before Directing Us to BackLash...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?

Just a Spring day in Los Angeles over here. Well, there are a few things to toss around. It’s all WWE related but that’s my focus. Should be no surprise. Let’s not waste any time and get into it, shall we?

So first, we have some speculations. To start, there’s been talk that Bayley may be thinking of pulling a Sasha Banks and head over to Japan but those may be false alarms. Other reports attribute her recent social media talk to be storyline related. We shouldn’t be reading too much into it.

Same goes for the second set of speculations revolving around Drew McIntyre. There’s talk that his contract is up soon and that there has yet to be an agreement.  Many think this is why McIntyre has been absent but word going around is that he’s either injured or sick. Don’t know whether that’s just code for “mind your business” but I don’t think we should worry too much about McIntyre leaving WWE. Not sure he’d really work anywhere else.

No doubt he could pick up work but it wouldn’t be at the premium I’m sure WWE would provide or offer. McIntyre is more of an ass-kicker than professional wrestler and we all know that AEW prefers the skilled wrestler. So, that would basically leave McIntyre Impact or MLW. Maybe a stint in Japan but again, that is a different type of presentation. I feel McIntyre is right where he belongs so both sides should be gracious here. They can work well for each other.

Regardless, Logan Paul made his re-up official. He renewed his contract with WWE so we can now steel ourselves for him to pop up at random. Get the feeling we’ll see him next at Summer Slam but let’s see how things shake out.

So, that brings us to tonight’s RAW. Well, SmackDown did its job for the most part though closing out with Matt Riddle I find questionable for obvious reasons. But if they want to risk his history getting exposed to the masses, so be it. The only reason I can figure we’re not getting too much backlash about Riddle is because his sexual assault allegations and settlement aren’t common knowledge. Riddle isn’t really well-known outside of WWE though I hear he has dabbled in MMA fighting. We’ll see if he ever gets enough traction and then see what happens. I’ll just not say anything since I don’t have anything nice.

As for tonight's RAW, it gets to follow up on Brock Lesnar’s destruction of Cody Rhodes. We will see if the event has broken our underdog hero. We’ll also see the Ladies get some more action as Lita and Becky Lynch defend the Women’s Tag Team Championships against Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez.  As for everything else,  you’ll have to watch to see what they fill the rest of the time up with. I’ll catch up with the other West Coasters. Feel free to join me if you’re able.

See You in a Bit,

-Nicole Alexis (^_~)
