RAW Hammers in the Tent Posts for the Biggest Show of the Year...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts? Is this Monday treating you well? It’s been a rainy one for Southern California. We can’t complain since we’re constantly under drought conditions. We don’t always know what to do when water falls from the sky. That is why pro-wrestling becomes a welcome distraction. Let’s chat about what’s going on, shall we? So, word is that Kenny Omega is open to a WWE run. This is something I never thought he would consider but seeing how he’s done everything else in pro-wrestling, he might as well. My only concern is I’m not really sure what they’d do with him. He’s kinda cheesy so…I don’t know how they’d introduce him to the WWE Universe. I think many of us have heard of him but I don’t think anyone has ever been salivating at the thought of him in WWE. I feel that would be the biggest hurdle. How to bring him in and make WWE casual fans give a damn. Well see if hell freezes over here. Speaking of the WWE Universe, the grapevine holds whispers of members of the roster

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts? It’s a rainy one over here in Southern California. I’m rained in for the next couple of days so, all I have to do is hope the power doesn’t go out and I should be fine. Hope everyone is staying warm and dry. As for the Wrestling World, meh, there have been more exciting weeks but that doesn’t mean I couldn’t find something to talk about. Let’s have a little chat. It appears Jeff Hardy has received his consequences for his DUI last year. He got slapped with a decent fine, court fees and his driver’s license is suspended for the next 10 years. It was his 3 rd DUI offense in the past 10 years so, it could be viewed as a somewhat lenient punishment. Sounds like he’ll also have to go to rehab and perform some community service.  It’s probably best that Hardy takes this time to get healthy and contemplate the future. General consensus is that he’s pretty beat up from all his years of wrasslin’ so he should probably get in shape, get clean and assess how he wants

RAW Has Elimination Chamber Fallout (2023)...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts? Enjoying your 3-day weekend? I’m like the rest of the world and had to work on this day. I’ve had to do that before but in this case it just seems kinda strange because this place of business otherwise adheres to U.S. Federal Holidays. Just not Presidents’ Day 🤷 Well, it’s not the first time I’ve had to work a Holiday. I’ll live. Let’s see what’s going on in the world of wrestling. So, as we all know, Elimination Chamber was last Saturday and it was a lot of fun. I was pleased. It was a tad bit predictable but I don’t want my money back. In most opinions, Roman Reigns vs. Sami Zayn was match of the night and I think we have to give credit to the crowd for that one. They were rivaling Seattle Seahawks fans. Didn’t think Canadians had it in ‘em 😉  There’s some pissy chatter that Reigns didn’t win clean but I don’t know when that will actually be an issue. Let’s wait for another wrestler to bring it up as beef against him. I can see Cody Rhodes playing that

Elimination Chamber 2023...

What’s Up, Enthusiasts? So, here we are at Elimination Chamber and you know what, I’m intrigued. I don’t think I’d ever honestly be this kind of engaged in the product. I would be intrigued by the possibility of a truly righteous shit show going down but now, I’m curious to see what will happen. It’s kinda cool. First thing is first, the match order. Do you think they’ll start with the Universal Title Match? I would go with the Women’s Elimination Chamber. I don’t think anyone is expecting that much yet they could just as easily set the tone for the show. My money is on Asuka winning but I wouldn’t be surprised if it goes to Liv Morgan or Carmella. Nikki Cross could be a wildcard, though. Next match of interest is Bobby Lashley vs. Brock Lesnar. Now, this one has been percolating for years and now here it is. Will it be all that we hoped? Well, it’s clearly Lashley’s match to win or lose in both a literal and figurative sense. We all know Lesnar can deliver and Lashley can deliver as

SmackDown Kicks Everyone Out So It Can Prepare for Elimination Chamber...

Happy Friday, Enthusiasts! Hope it’s treating you well. In the Wrestling World, there isn’t all that much that caught my interest but there are a few things to toss around. For the most part, the WWE Universe is preparing for Elimination Chamber tomorrow but before we get into that, let’s see what else is going on, shall we. So, there’s some speculation wafting through after Chris Jericho responded to a fan tweet reminiscing about when Jericho and CM Punk threw down for WrestleMania 28 way back when. Jericho doesn’t mind a tussle with Punk apparently. Does that mean all is mended with our tempestuous modern day icon? Will we see a return to AEW soon? Well, there’s also rumors that Punk and those who he was beefing with haven’t made up at all. Sounds like bad blood still lingers. Unless some sort of mediation is held, I don’t see Punk returning to AEW any time soon. Yet, word is that the AEW ratings haven’t been all that much to write home about either so, his return could serve a pur

How Is Everything Going, Enthusiasts? I will continue not to complain because, per usual, things could always be worse and to be honest, they’re not so bad. As for the Wrestling World, as always, there are things going on but not much has gained my interest. That doesn’t mean I don’t have anything to talk about. Let’s have a little chat. So, the Congratulations goes to the Kansas City Chiefs as they took the Super Bowl trophy this year. There are shots of Patrick Mahomes strutting around with a WWE Title Belt as is customary. I’m glad this was a competitive game. Both teams appeared to be deserving but the Chiefs applied a little savvy at the end and secured themselves a win. Don’t blame ‘em. Gotta do what you gotta do.  In the WWE Universe, we perhaps have a return to anticipate. Word is that a roster shoemaker has received an order from the long injured Randy Orton. Sounds like “The Viper” will be slithering out there soon enough.  To me, that’s great to hear. He’s far from done yet

SmackDown Let's Lesser Known Performers Get a Chance...

Happy Friday, Enthusiasts! How’s it going for you? Good, I hope. Well, there isn’t that much to chat about but that hasn’t stopped me before. Let’s see what’s going on, shall we? We’ll start outside the WWE Universe as word is that CM Punk could return to AEW in a couple of months should they care to have him. Seth Rollins has been “keeping it real” in regards to Punk and many other wrestlers have been concurring but at the same time, I can’t help but smirk a little. It seems a little all too perfect. Which is why I suggest that Punk play into the myth of himself. With just the right amount of tongue and cheek, his return anywhere could be quite amusing. We’ll see who makes it interesting. In the WWE Universe, people are clamoring for a Brock Lesnar vs. Gunther match, ASAP. Many are hoping for WrestleMania 39 but I think WrestleMania 40 would be more fitting. It allows for proper set-up and all that. I’m not opposed to a showdown. It could be the type of match that brings some validati

RAW Plays with Pacing Ahead of Elimination Chamber...

Happy  Monday, Enthusiasts. How’s it going for you? I’ve definitely had worse ones so you’ll hear no complaints from me. As for this Monday, there is talk going around but not much of it grabs me. Doesn’t mean there isn’t anything to talk about. Let’s have a little chat, shall we? So, SmackDown ended in a most dramatic fashion that I can’t imagine how RAW would match it but it doesn’t really have to. Tonight, we should get the Steel Cage Match that wasn’t between Bayley and Becky Lynch. These two have been conjuring up their past on social media which has been fun to watch and reminisce about. How far both these ladies have come. How will tonight’s match showcase their evolutions? 🤷 We also get some Elimination Chamber lead up as we welcome back Carmella and Piper Niven reclaims her old name. They’ll be involved in a Fatal-4-Way with Mia Yim and Candace LaRae. We’ll see how that goes. If you’ve been paying attention on Twitter, you’ve noticed I’ve had a minor grievance with Yim becau

SmackDown Assesses the Royal Rumble Fallout...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts? Well, I hope. As for what’s drifting through the Wrestling Grapevine, there are few things to discuss. I think I found some noteworthy tidbits. Shall we have a brief chat? What grabbed the most attention from me is that Nick Khan made an appearance on CNBC and shared the viewpoint that he feels WWE could be sold within “3 Months”. It’s not clear to who but it appears to be felt that this should be done sooner than later. I’m not sure how the pending lawsuits for Mr. Vince McMahon may impact that timeline. That may be the reason for expediting the process. Legal procedures are notoriously lengthy. For the sale to get tied up in litigation could drag the process out for years and potentially affect gains as someone has to pay for all the legal fees. We’ll see what comes to pass. All I hope for is that it ends up in the right hands and is not simply flushed down the toilet for billions of dollars. In lighter news, Dominik Mysterio continues to troll his Dad, t
