So That's How SmackDown Plays It...RAW Is NOT Amused....

A Merry Monday to You, Enthusiasts!

So, we leave Crown Jewel for a European stint where it appears they’ll continue to rehash the current feuds.  I’m sure with the World Cup going to Shane McMahon, we can deduce that we will begin the lead up to Survivor Series.  If anyone is actually taking this win seriously, then you may be missing the mark with the WWE all together.  I’m sure the humor is clear and intentional. Personally, I’m all for it.  I believe the less the WWE takes itself seriously the easier it is to enjoy it.  Yet with this SmackDown switch to FOX, how they implement Kayfabe-ry will be quite interesting, indeed

In any case, the WWE is across the pond this week and I’m sure the focus will now turn to Survivor Series.  I’m not sure what to expect but I hope they keep the Game of Thrones underlying theme.  With the GOT final season coming up in 2019, if the WWE is smart, they could potentially fill a slight void in the future.  I don’t know if another show will blend story and violence so palatably again so, if WWE plays their cards right, they could step in to be a visceral alternative that GOT once provided.  Again, that will all depend on how they continue to present their content.  It’ll have to become less arbitrary and have a clearer, more distinct train of thought.  They already have “Houses” with the wrestling dynasties under them, factions could need to seek allies in order to have ample “protection” and “backing” within the ranks and of course, there will be the lone wolves who may or may not band together or choose a side.  If they need some sort of “White Walker” to unite against it’s always The Authority.  Just act like Cersei won and there you go.  Zombies will only work on a playful Halloween episode.  We’ll see if they have similar thoughts in the meantime.  Funny tweets get retweeted and if someone spits mad fire we’ll just have to retweet and respect.

See You in a Bit,
