Elimination Chamber 2025 - Matches of Interest

 How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?

So, this is a first. Here we are, at Elimination Chamber and I don’t have any Matches of Interest. That seems bad but to me… I think it’s kinda perfect.

This is a state I never thought I’d see in the WWE Universe. This is a turning point. It becomes something else at this point and what exactly, I don’t know. It’s exciting!

Now, some of you are going to look at this funny but if you’ve been watching for the past 10 years or so, you have to see this has gone from absolute crap television to palatable TV. I can’t talk half as much shit about it anymore.

Many of you may beg to differ but I’ll just say our tastes differ and venture to say you watch it to crap on something. Kinda like people who like Maury Povich or Jerry Springer. You look at it and feel better about yourself. Fair enough. It’s not a judgment, just an observation. This is how you may lean.

I don’t need to crap on something but I like to playfully talk shit. It’s a display of endearment where I’m from. These days, it can be seen as rude or in poor taste but a good riffing is supposed to make you laugh, not feel bad. But you may think for the right reasons. At least, that’s how I understood it.

What I’m seeing is vast improvement in WWE. It’s stuff I wouldn’t have imagined. They were content in churning out crap. It’s clear they’re trying to think about it now.

And so, that leads to the next level, maintaining interest in this new space. I’m going to watch. I’m not bored but none of these matches stand out to me. I’m just curious as to how they play out.

The Men’s Elimination Chamber seems open and shut with John Cena winning though, I wouldn’t put past them a shock win for someone else. It could be anyone but if I’m going there, it’s either Logan Paul or Damian Priest. Paul for the blatant Heel Factor and Priest for due diligence.

I suppose it comes down to what’s most entertaining but it’s kinda hard to tell what that is. It all depends what happens after this. The lead up is WrestleMania. It’s Cena’s Retirement Tour.  Does Cena suffer another loss to get hungry for ‘Mania or do they go by the book and just book it? I’m fine with it either way. I think all that has to really happen is that he works for it.

If he wins, he’s just smart about it. Everyone is being their character right now. Cena should just read the room and play along. Let them do themselves in and win. If he loses, it just has to be hard fought. It’s gotta be clear he did all that he could and was either done in, missed a step or outdone. Whatever it is, it gets the “fire burning” and he does whatever he can to make it to WrestleMania and make it matter. Either way can be entertaining.

After that, it’s these performers making it interesting and that could go all sorts of ways. People kinda gotta sell it right now. And to me, that’s what’s really interesting. I’ll watch to see who makes it worth watching. It’s open ended and the endgame is keeping us watching. What does that exactly? We’re about to find out.

See You in a Bit.
