Still interested?  RAW didn’t scare you off for good? 😉 Personally, I feel we’ve certainly seen worse from them but not in a good while.  It’s been a few years at least.  It appears the general consensus is less talk and more action.  Well, that may take some time because it looks like everything was hinged upon Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman being present.  Shouldn’t they have back-up plans in general?  You never know when someone is gonna get hurt.  Well, in any case, their absences appear to be forcing Creative to scramble and now, SmackDown has to step-up and salvage whatever’s left…mostly Seth Rollins vs. Dolph Ziggler matches.

News on tonight’s offerings is paltry at best.  We should expect to see Becky Lynch but it’s unlikely she’s clear for any real action.  The Bar will take their beef over to The Usos for a bit and AJ Styles returns to counter Daniel Bryan’s turn.   To be honest, not sure if Bryan is gonna stay heel long.  I figured it may be more for solidarity with Brie Bella but who knows when she’ll make it back to TV, you know, in a wrestling capacity.  Fact is, this probably would only work if he could do it humorously.  I don’t know, implement some delusion, similar to what R-Truth does sometimes.  I know they want this more serious but as much as we love Daniel Bryan, he’s not the best actor.  Never has been.  And I don’t need him to take lessons.  I need him to have fun.  So, if he’s enjoying his heel-turn, then all power to him.  I hope he makes it work but if they’re all backstage trying to make it stick, they’ve lost us right there.  The WWE audience may not generally be the most…forward thinking bunch but we aren’t all that stupid either.  We know a “phony”, even if it’s all fake and if someone can’t sell it, we’ll be the first to say.  I’d say we’re giving Bryan a bit of pass because we love him but if he can’t sell this heel-turn then he’s better off making amends and returning to Face-hood.  That’s just how I’m seeing it.  Let me know if I’m wrong.  Funny tweets get retweeted and as for Likes/Favorites, looks like they have to impress now so let’s see if they can make the grade.
