RAW Fallout - Bash in Berlin 2024

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Enjoying the day off if you have it? Bash in Berlin has come and gone and there’s some other news making the rounds. Are you up for the brief discussion? Let’s get into it.   Let’s just get Bash in Berlin out of the way. I enjoyed it. I have to say the German Crowd was the most interesting part of it. Not that the PPV was bad but it wasn’t the most thrilling, shall we say but it was a solid show nonetheless. As you can see, no real complaints outside of I just wasn’t “wowed”.   Most seem to have come around to CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre being Match of the Night, though quite a few are pushing for the Randy Orton vs. GUNTHER match. My vote is definitely for Punk and McIntyre. It was a lot more fun that I thought it would be and I like how Punk stuck to the assignment. Let McIntyre overexcite himself, so to speak, and just took advantage of the rules.   He also let McIntyre have it too which was good to see since we’re a little uncertain abou

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts? I like how this PPV is shaping up. Once again the home Crowd throws an interesting wrench into the plans. If things were set, are they now changing? I can't and won't say but I think how this Crowd is operating will be a big factor in how this show goes. Let me just get into it. First up, Gunther vs. Randy Orton. Well, I think Orton should tag him back in this one. Gunther spanked him like a baby or at least if you tuned in at the right time, that's what it would look like. So, I think it’s only fair that Orton does his own version of showing Gunther who he is.  Now, this will be delicate being on Gunther’s technical home turf. We can split the hairs in his being Austrian but I’m not sure when that PPV happens so, this will have 2 do. Yet, that’s also where the chance for Orton lies. I don’t doubt WWE will be back but it’s not exactly guaranteed so, everyone abroad has to make the most of what they get. So, what’s the greater moment? Witnessing

Happy Friday, Enthusiasts?  How’s everyone doing? Well, there are at least a couple things to chat about in the Wrestling World. I’ll keep to the ones that jumped out at me the most. Up for a little discussion? Let’s get into it. So, let’s just get the Nikki Bella/Garcia and Artem Chigvintsev story out of the way. Fortunately, it’s not as dastardly as it originally seemed. Given that Chigvintsev was the one arrested, it’s easy to think the worst. But since he is a professional on Dancing with the Stars , the general news outlets have picked up the story and according to them, the incident involved Bella throwing shoes at him. He might have been arrested for his own protection. Bail might have just been the consequence of getting the police involved. I find that hopeful, ‘cause I would think knowing who she knows, that should be enough incentive not to fuck with the woman. She knows too many people, both male and female, who could put a real hurt on somebody if properly motivated. It al

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Enjoying your Monday? It’s Go-Home Week for Bash In Berlin and it comes off the heels of AEW’s All In PPV that was held in London last weekend. The social media feeds are mostly filled with this but there is other chatter slipping through. Up for a little discussion? Let’s see what’s going on.   As I said, AEW had their All In PPV and it sounds like it was a success for the most part. Bryan Danielson/Daniel Bryan got his Championship ahead of potentially segueing into part-time status and getting neck surgery. By most accounts, his match with Swerve Strickland was match of the night. I’ll have to see if I can catch a look at it somewhere. Toni Storm and Mariah May got some praise as well and Mercedes Moné got honorable mention for doing what she could with Britt Baker.   Not sure what’s going on with Baker, but most accounts are saying Baker phoned it in at best. Not the best look with all the bad press circulating. At the very least, back you

Happy Friday, Enthusiasts! How’s everyone doing? I have to keep complaints to a minimum because I must admit things could be quite a bit worse. However, the Wrestling World appears to have some movement going on at the end of this week. Shall we discuss? Allow me to begin. First thing that comes to mind is that word is Ricochet has signed with AEW. The terms are murky, but it sounds like he’s set to be there for the foreseeable future. Will Osprey has already called dibs for feuding so, I may have to check out their matches when they go down. I hope the move leads Ricochet to everything he deserves. He’s a delight to watch. Elsewhere in the Realm of AEW, there’s question of what’s going on with Jon Moxley/Dean Ambrose. Is he hurt? On vacay? They just don’t have anything for him? I can’t say but I can say I haven’t heard much about him of late.  Well, I’ve always made it clear that I’d love to have him back in WWE, especially now that Management and Creative are coming around to the ide

A Merry Monday to You, Enthusiasts.   Getting back into the swing of things, are you? That’s how it is every week. This one is no different. I may have some new things to negotiate but that’s neither here nor there. I’ll just say this Monday I can tolerate a little bit more than the others. As for the Wrestling World, there are few things we can talk about. Shall we get in to it? Let’s.   We’ll start with the less pleasant news as there are reports that along with Bobby Lashley, MVP is on his way out of WWE and it doesn’t sound like they are on amicable terms. The gist I’m hearing is that they’ll let his contract expire and MVP will be free to pursue any appealing endeavors. MVP is at the end of his career but he’s not dead yet so, I’m not sure where he’s best put to use. To look at the situation, perhaps a behind the scenes role at AEW?   Some rumors circulating place Bobby Lashley at AEW once the time is right. MVP could pick up being in his corner as well. There are opti

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   I have a bit of a cold. It’s the first one I’ve had in over 5 years. This one is more circumstantial though. I was out in the desert and going in and out of air-conditioned buildings. Wears down my defenses every time. It’s minor so I’ll live but it’s not as fun coughing and sneezing every other 5 minutes. I’ll just have to distract myself. So, what’s going on?   Let’s start in the Realm of AEW as there’s a feeling that Bryan Danielson/Daniel Bryan may have to hang it up soon or at the very least, take a year or 2 off to recover. It sounds like he needs to have neck surgery and we all know how that can go. If that happens, it’s hard to say we see him as an in-ring performer again. I’d like him to retire in WWE but we’ll see if the Gods are so kind. For now, let’s just hope that minimal surgery is all that’s needed. I rather whatever needs to get fixed, get fixed as opposed to slapping Band-Aids on it. Let us all wish him the best.   In sympath
