How’s It Going, Enthusiasts? Conflicted about the Royal Rumble? I’m not sure you should be. True, there are matters to be considered however, this is supposed to be entertainment. I’m not sure it should carry such weight due to its inherent levity. Why bring the party down? That may be a naive take but I think it is a fair one. Why would you come to the WWE Universe for political discussion? They don’t use their words here.  Regardless, the show will go on no matter how anyone feels so I’ll make the most of it. This is an escape for me. I admit it so I’ll keep leaving the politics at the door. So that leaves the Rumbles. Those are the only matches I’m concerned about. I’m curious about the others and I’ll watch them but it’s the Rumbles we’re here to see so, let’s chat about what may go down.  For the ladies there are about 13 open spots so that’s room for 13 “surprises”. Hey Enthusiats, Well, I've been saying I'm on the move and the move finally happened. It's not done but it's the start. I'll be moving again later in the year but this is the precursor. In any case, as you can see, that has pulled my time away from my favorite pastime. I didn't have time to even watch SmackDown.  Had to DVR it so I could catch up at my leisure. So, that's what I'm gonna do. Couldn't even check in on the Future. Let me get all caught up and I'll just see what they do with Night of Champions.  Since I've got some unpacking to do, expect me to check-in late today too. I'll see it when I see it.   How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   It’s a cold one in Southern California but nothing that those used to snow couldn’t handle. As for the Wrestling World, there’s some stuff going on but what caught my eye is more administrative. Some insight on how 2025 is gonna go. Are you up for a brief discussion? Let’s see where it goes.   We’ll stay in the WWE Universe for now as AEW’s stuff appears to be percolating. There’s an “update” on Brock Lesnar’s status going around making it seem like he’s on an unofficial retirement. Given the dirt that came up on him, it’s not surprising. You see how everyone is getting theirs for past unsavory behavior. I think he would have gotten more clemency if he was a more approachable person. His rep, in general, isn’t the best so, when dirt comes out, it’s easy to close the book on him. I don’t really think he’s needed anymore, to be honest. How’s It Going, Enthusiasts? Welcome to a new week. So, there’s quite a bit in motion/going on. I would say it was a successful weekend for WWE and AEW seems 2 making their stuff work. Shall we have a chat about it? Let’s… First up, we’ll stop in the Realm of AEW as we see Jon Moxley and Company “dial it down” a bit and decide to jump/semi-kidnap FTR. See, that’s what I’m talking about. Have some fun. Get crazy! Give us something to watch. Not sure what the endgame is exactly, but at this point, there’s time to flesh it out. I’ll be sure to check out this “epic” Fatal-4-Way getting set-up once it’s filed away. Keep things simple for now and just go out, get nuts and have fun. If it entertains, it entertains. How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Enjoying your Monday evening? Meh, it’s kinda run of the mill over here but that’s okay. Not really in the mood for much excitement. So, there’s some chatter going on but nothing that is piquing my interest so, I’ll keep it to the brief preview of the night’s festivities. Remember, it’s Go-Home Week for the King of The Ring PPV/PLE in the KSA, so this should be a fun-filled night.   What I will comment on is that word is that SmackDown’s ratings were down last week and I just want to interject that some regions don’t play SmackDown at 8pm every week. As you know, I’m in the process of relocating and the city I plan to move to, also in Southern California, sometimes opts to show local team sports rather than SmackDown at that time so it gets preempted and shown later in the evening. This week, it didn’t come on until 11:30pm so, if other, less popular markets do the same, that would have to affect ratings. Luckily, I DVR it for just such...
