RAW Has the List of Extreme Rules!....
A
Good Monday to You, Enthusiasts!
Is
it treating you well? I hope you had a
nice relaxing break. In terms of the WWE Universe, we should be ready
to jump back into it with RAW’s Go
Home Show offering for Extreme Rules. It’s
hard to say what to expect but we can at least prepare for the content to be a
little edgier. It looks like the idea
that wrestling is for kids is going out the window and now the focus is on the
young upstarts in the teenage set and all those who aren't quite ready for full-on "adulting".
Hopefully, they find a feasible way to do this ‘cause I don’t know what’s
going on with the kids anymore. The way
trends have been going, I wouldn’t think kids would care for this wrestling
fare. This is the main reason I’ve been
suggesting following a sort of Game of
Thrones set up, incorporating the Houses and such. Perhaps the political intrigue may pique young
interests who see the parallels in their waking lives. I’m pretty sure school still holds similar
social landscapes to navigate. It’s a
way to validate the violence. You can’t
get away with glorifying jumping someone but if you set the scene so that it’s
clear why the person who gets jumped, got jumped then at least youths can see
you can’t go jumping people without due process. We’ll
see how Paul Heyman sets this all up.
What’s
advertised for tonight sounds about right with The Man bringing her man along
for a mixed tag match against Andrade and Zelina Vega. Then at some point during the night, Shane
McMahon will remind us that he still can’t stand Roman Reigns. He isn’t sure why they keep him on the
roster. He and Drew McIntyre will try to
stick him with someone so they can proceed to rig the game. Personally, I’m not really seeing the point
of slapping Reigns with The UnderTaker.
I know they have “history” but we all know that was just lazy
booking. With times as they are, I think
this is a good time for the WWE to start acting like they’re actually thinking
about things. If I were them, I’d be
trying to make this match up make more sense or at least seem more
appealing. With Bray Wyatt being teased,
I would like to see something happen to Reigns. Maybe he gets jumped backstage or we hear he
couldn’t even make it in from the parking lot without “someone” taking him out first. This leaves his spot open and wouldn’t you
know it, Wyatt just seems raring to step in.
I don’t care if Wyatt sets up the sabotage but him with the UnderTaker
makes more sense than Reigns and The Undertaker. The latter only looks good on paper but that’s
just my humble opinion. Oh, and Rey
Mysterio supposed to be back as well.
Let’s see what they do with that.
Funny tweets get retweeted and as for Likes/Favorites, well we have to
be bigger sticklers this time around. It
is the Go Home Show after all. We should
be left excited for Extreme Rules. Let’s
see if they get us passed “Lukewarm”.
See
You in a Bit,
-Nicole Alexis (^_~)
