PUTTIN’ THAT SMACK DOWN…What Happen Last (Tuesday) Night [Nov. 21st, 2014]

Image
The “Go Home” SmackDown show perhaps had to “dumb itself down” to meet where RAW left off yet, I was not all that disappointed.  If anything, I was a little intrigued and somewhat at a bit of an impasse because I’m not sure what the intention is, going forward, for the WWE.  It’s in a strange place it appears.  They’re either paving the way for a true changing of the guard or they’re going to continue going with…whatever they’ve got going on.  It’s hard to say and the manner in which they are proceeding leaves me feeling like I have to see how this pans out before I can make an honest decision as to whether it’s a bad thing or not.  In that respect, they have my full attention. SmackDown opens with Michael Cole asking Triple H a few questions.  Here’s where I start to get intrigued yet confused at the same time.  With the livelihoods of everyone supposedly on the line, I understand why we’d want to hear what Triple H has to say, yet Michael Cole opens with how the WWE Univ

Jeebus, Over this Week! But, I'm Always for SMACKDOWN...

What's up enthusiasts! Hope your week went better than mine.  I foolishly side-swiped a garbage can on the way to work the other day and had to spend $310 to get it replaced (>.<)  Well, I suppose I should just be glad I can cover it but you never want to spend it when you didn't plan on doing it. Anyway, enough about me.  Let's let our worries drift away for at least 2hrs.  Judging by the spoilers, SmackDown may alleviate my RAW chagrin but as always, we will see.  I'll probably be a little more curt in my tweetings tonight due to my misfortune but just read it as a way to vent.  I'll get over it.  In the meantime, make us laugh with your tweets. The funnier the better, I'm looking to retweet something.  Let loose! See You Soon, Brethern! -Nicole Alexis.

GIVING IT TO YOU RAW…What Happened Last Night (Nov. 17th, 2014)

So, for whatever reason, we’re upon what’s called the “Go Home” showing of RAW before Survivor Series.   Go Home seeing how it’s before a pay-per-view but, does the WWE roster ever have a “home field”?    I would think it’s case specific and only pertains to when talent are in their given hometown.   But that's beside the point.    I went into this week's RAW  hopeful that the momentum created on SmackDown would seamlessly carry over  and unfortunately I was grossly mistaken. I probably shouldn’t have gone in with such high hopes.    Though it wasn’t a complete disaster, in comparison to SmackDown it read as mere child’s play.   Rumors are circulating the WWE Universe cyberspace that cuts are going to be made in the new year and though the speculation primarily surrounds talent, I wouldn’t be surprised if there was a cleaning of house on RAW’s Creative Team, if they are in fact split into separate factions.   What’s becoming painfully clear is that they don’t know what th

So Ready to Get RAW...

For the first time in a long time, there's anticipation in the air.  How will it all shape up this week before Survivor Series?  Well, it looks like I'll have to sign up for this freebie promotion the WWE's got going and see the end results myself.  More tweeting for me.  But in the meantime, let's hurry home and see what they got to offer this evening.  Those of you already at it, you guys should be well on your way.  I'll scroll through and see, promise (^_~)  Funny tweets get retweeted and funnier tweets get retweeted and favorited.  Let's have some fun! See You in a Bit, -Nicole Alexis .

Well, well, well what do we have here?  Could we actually be manifesting the WWE Revival I so desperately hope will come to pass someday?  It’s early but WWE Creative has not been disappointing of late when it comes to SmackDown  and I certainly hope the trend continues.  The wrestling for this week   was well framed by palatable, loose story and for once, I kinda want to know what happens next.  Can’t say when the last time that was.  Very promising and like I’ve been saying, adaptations such as these can only be good for business. We begin the evening with Chris Jericho making his triumphant return for his “Highlight Reel” segment.  Of course, the hot topic currently is Survivor Series and what would the WWE Universe look like without an Authority running it?  Would we patrons in fact make it a Democratic Republic where we constantly choose our own adventure when it comes to the roster?  Good Ol’Y2J seems to think so but, The current Authority not so much.  Stephanie McMa

SMACK it up, flip it, lay it DOWN, Oh No....

A bit of a stretch, I know, but I couldn't resist.  So, who's ready?  I hear it may be a mixed bag tonight so I don't blame you for going off to do other things but, seeing how I need this mild fix, I'll be tweeting as I usually do. So, those with a similar itch please, feel free to tweet it up.  I have a ball.  I do, I really do enjoy talking shit on the "Twitters".  Anyway, funny tweets get retweeted and I have yet to be so taken that I retweet and favorite.  Who will be the first?  Who can say, who can say?.... See You in a Bit, -Nicole Alexis (^_~)

GIVING IT TO YOU RAW…What Happened Last Night (Nov. 10th, 2014)

The WWE Universe found itself in Liverpool, England last night for RAW and the name of the game was team building.  Well, you don’t have to tell The Authority twice.  With their actual authority on the line, they’re doing all that they can to create an unstoppable force for Survivor Series.  I can’t say I’m all that excited because it feels more like choosing stickball teams on the neighborhood block.  Stephanie McMahon and Triple H are gathering the biggest, baddest kids who no one likes to play with while all the rest rag-tag it with John Cena.  I’ll be sympathetic and admit that it can’t be easy coming up with fresh material year-in, year-out to advance us through every Pay-Per-View but this time around, it’s a little easier to see the straws Creative’s grasping at.  Nevertheless, something is made of the hodgepodge that they have to work with and a palatable enough wrestling stew simmers.             We begin the evening with a lot of talk, actually with John Cena kick

Soon, It Will Be Time to Get RAW...

A good Monday evening to you all.  Have we gotten through it in one piece?  I hope so.  I know these starts to the week can be rough.  Well, I'm geared up and ready to see what RAW Abroad has in store for us.  It's hard to say, I hear the roster has been split for this European tour so, we'll see if anything is actually accomplished or if we're merely entertained.  I'm fine with either.  It should be clear by now that I look for clean execution above all else. I'm sure I'll have plenty to say, feel free to chime in.  Funny tweets get retweeted and the funniest of the tweets get retweeted and favorited, as they should (^_~)  See You in a Bit, -Nicole Alexis.

The WWE main roster is all packed up and shipped off across the pond to let Europe get a taste of its madness but, before they go, they stop off in Albany , New York for one last stateside romp .  They also have a steel cage about to make this night a little extra spicy.  I liked what they came up with on this week’s SmackDown .  Didn’t really anticipate it and was only slightly surprised, imagine that, but I was not disappointed.  No, I was actually intrigued with where things might be going.  As I’ve suggested, it appears that the middle ground we’re all desperately seeking may soon be reached after all. We begin the evening with the Tag Team Title on the line and The Brothers Dust and The Usos locked in battle within the travel-size Steel Cage.  “Truthishly”, the cage looked a bit small.  I’m not sure if it was proportionate to the venue or the bigger one is in the shop but, it looked like a practice cage or something.  Nevertheless, the 2 sets of brothers step inside a

Ready to SMACK it DOWN?...

Always.  When am I not (^_~) Well, it looks like the WWE is doing their annual stint abroad so that the world can get a glimpse of them in the "real times".  Can't knock it really.  I always like how it seems to come off more like a football/soccer match given how the crowd responds.  Wonder if they get any hooliganism associated with it too.  In any case, you'll have to forgive me if my tweets are a bit sub-par.  Getting over a nasty bit of food poisoning but, as you can see, I'm not so debilitated that I can't type...that was yesterday.  I try to be a trooper and simply carry on.  Funny tweets get retweeted and real funny tweets get the same and favorited too. Have a Great Night! -Nicole Alexis
