Gonna Get Up to SMACK It DOWN...

Image
What's up, Enthusiasts! Hope the majority of things are going right in your world. Well, you all know what time it is about to be and judging by the spoilers, we should come away mostly pleased.  There's just no pleasing some but there's nothing to be done about that.  Everyone's entitled to their opinion.  I'm sure you've noticed I've certainly had plenty to say (^_~) Gonna say more too.  Tweet about it even and I invite you all to play along.  Funny tweets get retweeted and the 1st Favorite remains elusive.  We'll see if we get a surprise appearance. See You in a Bit, -Nicole Alexis.

GIVING IT TO YOU RAW…What Happened Last Night (Apr. 20th, 2015)

Image
I could be wrong, Enthusiasts, but it seems that there are changes afoot and they may in fact be for the better.  It’s hard to say but for 2 weeks in a row, RAW and SmackDown have been solid.   Not great but…way more watchable than usual.  It’s beginning to get suspicious and I hope not in a bad way but it does set off my Spider Sense.  There have been internal changes within the WWE over the past 6 months or so but, it's always hard to say whether these changes will actually be beneficial or just a general reshuffling that doesn’t show in the basic product but, it would appear that an attempt at establishing a general baseline of tolerable action is being implemented and I for one am in favor of this development…if that is what is happening. We open in Albany, New York after the WWE’s annual European Tour and I wouldn't say it’s good to have them back but I have to say that I look forward to getting back on the stateside schedule.   In any case, with Extreme Rules

It's Monday and So We Get RAW...

Image
Evening, Enthusiasts!  How's this Monday going for you?  Well, the news floating about the internets today is that Seth Rollins' CurbStomp move is now banned from usage.  Apparently, the WWE is trying to cover its ass, seeing how so many are quick to sue these days.  I suppose there could be a kayfabe angle, seeing how Randy Orton is banned from using the RKO at Extreme Rules but, who knows.  Suppose we'll see tonight if they bring it up.  We're back stateside this week and so East Coasters, I'll be looking to your spoilers.  As for the West Coast We, funny tweets get retweeted and the Favorite remains at large. Will this be the night? See You in a Bit, -Nicole Alexis (^_~)

PUTTIN’ THAT SMACKDOWN…What Happened Last (Tuesday) Night [Apr. 16th, 2015]

The WWE’s European stint carries on and SmackDown continues to do its Army of Darkness type duty to keep us interested.   Again, I wasn’t blown away with the evening’s events but my interest was held and I found myself enjoying myself more than rolling my eyes and so, no real complaints from me outside of the usual.   Instead I opted to sit and pleasantly partake of the fare on offer.   It wasn’t half-bad.   If I didn’t know better, I would say that they were actually trying to change stuff up.   As They say, variety is the spice of life (^_~) We open in London with John Cena, again.   The theme of late is the hot “new” title, the US Championship.   It’s so hot that Rusev still wants it back but, he wants it back on his terms.   He wants his rematch to be a Russian Chain Match.   What is a “Russian Chain Match”, you ask?   Well, it’s simple really.   After doing a little research, these apparently fall under any various “strap match” that may occur in the WWE or Wrestl

Soon Time for a British SMACKDOWN...

Image
I suppose this is done with tea and crumpets added (^_~)  Good evening, Enthusiasts!  East Coasters are settling down now to see how this week's installment fares.  As for we on the West Coast, we'll wait a few hours and then see how the WWE edits around the prankster-crashers that we all heard about.  Surprised that sort of thing doesn't happen more often, actually.  Not that I'm a proponent for it.  It's just that side of Human Nature that likes to cause a ruckus.  We all got that.  Surprise people don't act out more often, is all.  Nevertheless, that won't stop tonight's Twitter Fest!  Who's feeling quippy? Funny tweets get retweeted and someone may just manage to conjure up an elusive favorite.  See You in a Bit, -Nicole Alexis.

GIVING IT TO YOU RAW…What Happened Last Night (Apr. 13th, 2015)

Happy Tuesday, to you Enthusiasts!  As you all know, the WWE is doing its British “Grand Tour” of Europe and this week’s installment of RAW was in London , England .  With trips across the pond, come the infusion of soccer traditions and so our raucous crowd chants resemble what you’d hear at a Manchester United match rather than a wrestling show but, I find it charming.  I respect the sport of soccer but I wouldn’t call myself a fan.  Yet, I do enjoy the culture and wish I could be more exposed to the true nature of the fan culture.  I’ll settle for this taste for now but, one of these days I’ll get myself into the belly of the beast.  As for now, I’ll take in my European dose of wrasslin’! We open a little differently this Monday night.  John Cena greets the crowd to not so much boos but “John Cena Sucks…” in time with his entrance music.  As per usual, the crowd doesn’t really need Cena but, Cena being the seasoned veteran he is, keeps to his purpose and engages the crow

Let Us Saddle Up and Get RAW...

Image
How's the evening going, Enthusiasts!  Are you ready for some RAW footballer style?  I personally enjoy the Hooligan touch when the WWE takes its trip across the pond.  Makes the whole thing truly international and I do love my doses of culture. So, let's have ourselves a merry ol'time and tweet jokingly of the night's festivities. Makes it more fun, I find.  Funny tweets get retweeted and I still hope for a favorite.  Don't force it, though.  These things tend to come in their own time (^_~) See You in a Bit, -Nicole Alexis.

PUTTIN’ THAT SMACKDOWN…What Happened Last (Tuesday) Night [Apr. 9th, 2015]

Greetings, Enthusiasts!   Smackdown came through again in moderate fashion, I would say.   Like RAW before it, it wasn’t particularly spectacular but it was a good base of wrestling entertainment.   I found myself pleased and satiated for a typical Thursday night and I like this current state of contentedness.   Let us hope that this is a foundation and though a bad night is guaranteed, with a stable base they should be few and far between. We begin our evening in Dallas , Texas and to greet us is our favorite hero, Daniel Bryan.   He speaks of the Intercontinental Championship and how he plans on keeping and defending it with all the strength and courage he’s got!  That is until, Wade “Bad News” Barrett comes out to beg to differ.   Oy!   You and I both know that the title rightfully belongs to me.   You come out here, with your winter shin-guards in spring and talking all sorts of nonsense about hard work and perseverance.   What really matters is good ol’desire, mat
