A Survivor Series to Remember?....

Image
Uhhhh....We'll see.   Greetings Enthusiasts!  Yes, I have been missing in action of late but I've been keeping current with the goings-on.  So, we'll see who takes the Heavyweight Title tonight while Seth Rollins recovers.  I don't really care what they do with this as long as it's well executed.  Seeing how the WWE Universe is an entity unto itself, there's no telling how anything will go or if it will even make sense so, all I'm aiming for is to be entertained.  A good match will do me fine because chances are it won't matter much come tomorrow (^_~)  Funny tweets get retweeted and don't strain yourselves for a Favorite.  Let that come naturally. See You in a Bit, -Nicole Alexis.

BEEN SOME TIME SINCE I’VE GOTTEN RAW…

Image
Guess a little taste wouldn’t hurt (^_~)   Evening Enthusiasts! Yes, the pull of everyday living has been a little strong for me of late but now I think I’ve found some breathing room.   So, I figured I could take a gander at one of my well-documented guilty pleasures.   Now, just ‘cause I haven’t been watching doesn’t mean I haven’t checked in on what’s going on.   Apparently, Mr. Seth Rollins has succumbed to a knee injury and isn’t due back until sometime next year.   Pity, because it snarls up the plans for Survivor Series.   Blessing in disguise?...We’ll see.   Wouldn’t fully count on it but, I’ve certainly been surprised before.   Anyway, in the meantime, let’s see how this WWE Universe contends with the curveballs Life continually throws.   Funny tweets get retweeted and any real gems that make it through, may just become a Favorite. See You in a Bit, -Nicole Alexis.

Feeling RAW? Why Not Watch Some (^_~)…

Image
Greetings Enthusiasts! I’ve been away but not away, you know. I’ve been watching but not tweeting. Other things continue to grab my attention but the action has been all right. I’ve been impressed with the Divas, certainly. A feminine revolution definitely appears to be in the works. As for everyone else…well, I just hope they’re having fun. Not much to work with of late but that happens in the WWE Universe. Let’s see how they continue to string things together as we lead up to Hell in a Cell. Funny tweets get retweeted and a Favorite certainly gets the same. See You in a Bit, -Nicole Alexis.

I Can Do Some SMACKDOWN...

Image
How's about you? (^_~) How's it going Enthusiasts?  Well, I've been better but I shan't complain.  It could certainly be worse, of that I'm sure.  But enough of me.  So, we've got this "big match" with Big Show and Brock "Gun Jack" Lesnar coming up and I can honestly say I have no plans to watch.  Yet, I'll catch whatever news that trickles through on the Twitters or somewhere.  I'm not expecting glowing reports. As for the night's events *shrug* the spoilers don't give a way much though some of it is predictable but, what isn't these days?  I suppose the real news that's been circulating, and not just through the online communities, is the flailing ratings that RAW has been bringing in.  Well, it's nothing like good ol'lack of interest to get feet held to fire.  Let's see if Creative can get some solid juices flowing that gets us interested in watching these matches.  I'm curious as to what they&

Oh That's Right...RAW Will Soon Be Upon Us...

Image
What can we expect this evening, Enthusiasts? Oh, I'm sure much of the usual.  Some heavy pushing for this supposedly exciting match between Brock Lesnar and the Big Show this weekend, I'm sure.  Wow, that one seems like an act of desperation.  With no real lead up or attachment to any loose plot in action, I'm guessing it's just supposed to be a spectacle but of what, I don't really want to know.  I hope they have a lot of filler that evening 'cause I can't see that match going more than 20 minutes or being all that fun to watch for that matter. In any case, the prep is now for Hell in a Cell which I am comfortably lukewarm about.  I took a little break last week, skipping the TweetFest but now I'm getting back into the flow of things...see if the WWE spits out anything interesting.  We shall see as always, Enthusiasts.  Funny tweets get retweeted and who knows, a Favorite may just come along after all (^_~) See You in a Bit, -Nicole Alexis.

After a Night of Champions, We Get Back to Being RAW...

Image
Evening Enthusiasts, Well, in terms of Michael Bay, I'd say Night of Champions came in at a solid Armageddon .  Mainly due to the Father-Daughter bonding in the form of Charlotte winning the Divas Title and Ric Flair showing his emotional pride.  Have to say it got to me a bit. Very well sold.  As for everything else, well it was solid.  Nothing jaw-dropping, though it is nice to have Dad (Kane) back but I'd prefer him in the suit and tie.  He can be as mean as he wants, let's just not forget that the man's pushing 50.  As I've said before, he looks great but I liked the Korporate transformation because, realistically, it's the next logical step and it keeps Dad in the game a few more years.  I'm sure he'll suit back up before long. Anyway, let's see what keeps, what reverts back and whatever the hell else that might happen.  Funny tweets get retweeted and if someone spins straw into a "Favorite" well, they may just have to get some so

Could this Be a True Night of Champions?...

Meh, it's possible but yet again, feels best to keep expectations low.  We Enthusiasts are enthusiasts by default in many cases and so, we complain but accept more often than not because, when you think about it...it all doesn't really matter.  Of course, we'd love to see a well-crafted product in the WWE but the underlying beauty of it lies in its slap-dashedness.  It's like a live-action Michael Bay flick.  All you need are tits, ass and explosions and you got yourself a movie.  The only difference is there's a little wrasslin' mixed in when it comes to this extravaganza.  Hey, I love a good slam-bam action flick.  I know exactly what I'm getting into and expect no Oscar-worthy performances outside of maybe special effects.   This is how I generally approach the PPVs.   Even grander spectacles that I, in theory, have to pay for.   And so, I'll judge this evening in terms of Michael Bay films.  Plot may have plenty to be desired but with enough bells,

SMACKDOWN? Only If Someone Deserves It (^_~)

Image
Greetings Enthusiasts! Well, let me just say that last year's season premiere was WAY better, hands-down, which doesn't make for an inspiring lead up to Night of Champions.  Spoilers for Smackdown don't tell too much better of a tale but we'll see.  I will also say that I do like how Charlotte is manifesting in the Divas Division.  Though done in on RAW  by some dastardly "Twin Magic", she sold her performance well and I can now start to see what all the buzz is about. Now, if they could just get some more Divas that actually look like they can kick your ass, we'd really be going but, one step at a time.  Until then, let us take in our "Go-Home" showing and keep those expectations low.  Funny tweets get retweeted and we'll just see if a Favorite rears its head. See You in a Bit, -Nicole Alexis.

Can't Create Champions Without Getting RAW from Time to Time...

Image
Evening Enthusiasts! The flavor of the month is Night of Champions and we're now in "Go-Home" territory.  As is often the case, I'm not really sure what to expect.  The past PayPerViews have been at least entertaining so I haven't felt the need to feel cheated yet set-up, as per usual, has plenty to be desired.  'Tis the crux of this genre I fear.  The slapdash nature of it gives you the same in terms of performance and product more often than not.   The question then becomes, is that the point?  Perhaps we ask too much.  Perhaps we should revel in the fact that in the WWE Universe, just about anything can go...if you at least make it watchable and hit your marks. (^_~)   Anyway, let's see what they come up with to get us interested this time around. Funny tweets get retweeted and if a Favorite arrives, a Favorite arrives. See You in a Bit, -Nicole Alexis.

See, Now We Can Do Some SMACKDOWN....

Image
You know, in moderation (^_~) Greetings Enthusiasts! How is everyone doing?  Well, I can't entirely complain, especially since this week's SmackDown appears to have some fun bits to anticipate given the spoilers.  I'm always up for a good time.  Aren't you?  Who doesn't like a little premeditated drama?  Funny tweets get retweeted and we'll be patient when it comes to Favorites. Don't want to ruin the integrity of the content. See You in a Bit, -Nicole Alexis.
