Getting Ready to Merge into the FAST LANE...

Image
Good Afternoon, Enthusiasts! And an early good evening for our East Coast compatriots.  It's the night of Fast Lane and the Oscars and there's a low buzz going on about both it would seem, like a white-noisy hum in the background.  I'm still blissfully uncertain of the night's outcome in either regard and quite fine with waiting and seeing.  Maybe we'll get something good, maybe we'll get something bad but more than likely we'll just get what we get. Suppose it could be worse (^_~) That doesn't mean we can't tweet about it and have some fun.  Funny ones get retweeted and if someone comes up with a gem, it's sure to get favorited.  See You in a Bit, -Nicole Alexis. PUTTIN’ THAT SMACKDOWN…What Happened Last (Tuesday) Night [Feb. 19th, 2015]

I’ll say this, Enthusiasts.   This week’s episode of Smackdown was less apprehensive in comparison to the episode prior to the Royal Rumble and so, by that marker, I think we don’t have too much to worry about come Sunday.   It’s still anybody’s guess as to how things will go but, as I voiced in my previous post and a bit on the Twitters, I get the feeling that Seth Rollins should figure somehow.   After further research, it appears we have a 6-Man-Tag with him involved scheduled for Sunday evening but, that match doesn’t really do anything to move anything along.   I mean, there are really no rewards or consequences for winning or losing.   Could that allude to a possible preemption for a Money in the Bank cash in? At the rate the WWE is currently going, the bulk of what's presented turns out to be MacGuffins.  Why not build some drama? Or will my off-shoot prediction transpire and will we eventually be led into some sort of Fatal-4-Way for WrestleMania? And then, there’s

We Gotta Put the SMACKDOWN Before We Jump into the FAST LANE...

How goes, it Enthusiasts?  We're almost to Friday but first, let us take a look at the "Go Home" episode of Smackdown  before we head into Fast Lane.  The spoilers aren't exactly promising but...they aren't usually.  Nothing really takes shape until you see it in the WWE Universe and tonight is no different.  Perhaps we'll make note of potential clues of how Fast Lane may fare but, ultimately we'll have to wait and see.  We at least know that they can't fuck things up too much lest they suffer severe consequences from We the Audience and so, we can hope to at least be moderately entertained.  Yet, at the same time, we just never know.  Do we, Enthusiasts (^_~) Well, let's not let that fact ruin a good time in the here and now.  Funny tweets get retweeted and excellent tweets get a favorite.  I'll be watching. See You in a Bit, -Nicole Alexis.

GIVING IT TO YOU RAW…What Happened Last Night (Feb. 16th, 2015)

And so, true to form, RAW gets our interests piqued for Fast Lane but for what exactly?  What can we expect to be entertained with this Sunday night?  Will it be compelling?  Will it be epic?  Or will it simply leave us wanting?  The WWE track record would have us prepare for the last option but, who knows.  This week’s RAW was not entirely predictable and the twists and turns didn’t really assist as it simply mixed things up, which doesn’t hurt but allows them to break even in a different manner, I guess.  I will wait until Smackdown before I decide to feel any one way about Fast Lane, Enthusiasts.  Yet, given what RAW presented, I would say the question now would be are we going to be surprised, underwhelmed or severely disappointed? We’re in Orlando, Florida to begin the “Go Home” trek to Fast Lane and we have John Cena to start things off.   As you remember, he’s set to box Rusev at Fast Lane and has to tag him back for that cheap shot he took last week a nd we should ta

We're Gonna Get RAW Soon...Are We Ready?...

How's about it, Enthusiasts?  Since we've got Fast Lane on Sunday, we're officially in "Go Home" territory and it looks like it'll occupy Florida, for the most part.  I'd say the locations are telling but, we'll see what happens.  RAW likes to get our hopes up so, we might get a decent show tonight but, we will have to wait until Smackdown to get any real indication of what can be expected at Fast Lane and if it'll be worth watching, regardless of it being free. At least, that's how the Royal Rumble played out.  We'll see what the WWE has learned.  In the meantime, let's tweet about it!  Funny tweets get retweeted as well as thought-provoking ones. The really funny and/or profound will be favorited.  Don't hurt yourselves (^_~) See You in a Bit, -Nicole Alexis.

PUTTIN’ THAT SMACKDOWN…What Happened Last (Tuesday) Night [Feb. 12th, 2015]

Have to say, Enthusiasts I didn’t really know how I felt about this rivalry brewing against Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns but, it is starting to grow on me.   Leave it to Smackdown to cook things up just like I like them. This evening, Tag Team Turmoil is the name of the game and it’s fun to watch. These 2 “Faces” continue to battle for their chance at glory this year and it’s proving to be quite the little competition.   Well, it’s kinda hard to view it that way entirely because of the whole thing being more or less scripted but how it’s executed, as always, is key and so far, our would-be heroes are churning out some interesting “sports entertainment”. The night opens a little differently in Dayton , Ohio .   Dad (Kane) addresses all the Tag Teams backstage about the Turmoil set to transpire for the main event.   He gets their juices flowing because, of course, he wants them to win.   Bryan and Reigns shouldn’t last through all of them anyway but, they should make sure th

How Are We Gonna Get the SMACKDOWN Tonight?....

Well, according to the spoilers "Tag Team Turmoil" will be our weapon of choice this evening.  Never seen this in action so, it'll be new to me.  Sounds like one of them there "flustercucks" I've heard about but, maybe it'll be interesting.  I'll be watching regardless (^_~)  Won't you watch with me too...if you're on the West Coast anyway?  I'll still peep the East Coast tweets, though.  Funny ones get retweeted and the elusive hysterical one will become a "favorite".  Let's see if Smackdown is able to continue holding it down. See You in a Bit, -Nicole Alexis.

GIVING IT TO YOU RAW…What Happened Last Night (Feb. 9th, 2015)

Well, Enthusiasts I’m not one to toot my own horn but please allow me a brief “rooty-toot-toot” seeing how my views for how the WWE should proceed with Roman Reigns is more or less coming to fruition.  I said to write in the question of his wrestling ability 5 months ago and after ambling down a long and winding road, we’ve come to the obvious plot device.  Hey, working with a format such as this, you kinda have to work with what you got regardless of any "plans" anyone may have.  Making the real struggle a part of the story makes things easier for everybody. As for this week’s episode of RAW in total, it was fun.  I had a good time.  Were my socks blown off?  No.  Am I any more interested in Fast Lane?  Meh, not so much but I may come around and take a gander just ‘cause it’s free but, I think it’s pretty clear that Creative has its hands full trying to figure out how to tie all this together into something We the Audience care to watch all the way through.  I don’t think
