You'll See. SmackDown Will Be Nice & Limber After FastLane...
Greetings Enthusiasts!
Tonight we have FastLane to feast upon and in all honesty, not sure
how much it will really matter come WrestleMania time. Don’t get me wrong. I’ll watch just the same to get my money’s
worth but the thing about the WWE Universe is that it seems to refresh itself
daily. What happens tonight may be
followed up on this week’s SmackDown but after that, it’s just that steady jog
towards WrestleMania and during all that, anything established tonight, can
change. ‘Tis the nature of this beast. So, why watch? Well, to see if the WWE will make it
interesting for the most part. We watch for the blatant entertainment.
The thing we must keep in mind the most for this genre is that the
way the WWE is structured, all they need do is be entertaining. Yes, ideally what we watch should make some
sort of sense but ultimately, if it puts smiles on our faces, we don’t really
care what we see. So, the draw is to see
if the WWE can string some action together that generally keeps us
appeased. I approach each event with an “impress
me” sort of vibe. I sit back and wait to
see if I am in fact entertained. And
generally speaking, especially with the WWE, I think most of us should view it with
that slight haughtiness. We’re certainly
more obliged come PPV time but let’s save that more for the paying customers
when it comes to RAW and SmackDown. Can’t
bitch too much over what you get with the package. Break it down, the contribution isn’t nearly
as much as a ticket to a show so, we can afford to simmer down.
So tonight, let us see if the Ladies Tag Team match of Becky Lynch &
Naomi vs. Natalya & Carmella gets the blood going. Shinsuke Nakamura matches his “Strong Style”
to the might of Rusev. The Usos &
The New Day attempt to maintain their street cred with a Tag Team
Championship match. Charlotte tries to
silence the Riott Squad leader in Ruby Riott for the Women’s Championship. Randy Orton and Bobby Roode will earn their
keep with a dance for the US Title. Then
to close we have the 6-Pack Challenge with AJ Styles, John Cena, Kevin Owens,
Sami Zayn, Baron Corbin and Dolph Ziggler all vying for the WWE
Championship. Hmm, I’m gonna lean on
Kevin Owens. He’s just shady enough to
make the march to WrestleMania a little more fun I think? Thoughts, Enthusiasts? Funny tweets get retweeted and
Likes/Favorites will be earnestly considered should they present
themselves. That’s usually what we have
to wait for.
See You in a Bit,
-Nicole Alexis (^_~)
