You Should Know SmackDown Always Stays Loose and Limber...
A Good
Evening to You, Enthusiasts!
So, RAW
was…thought-provoking at best an utter mess at worst but that’s nothing
new. The 2 segments of note were the
opening with Roman Reigns unrealistically fending off “law enforcement”
officers in blatant “violation” of his “suspension”. Only to be subdued by an “unhinged” yet
unprovoked Brock Lesnar resulting in Reigns receiving a “beat down” to prove as
punishment for bringing his no-good, mug around. All
this did was cause my eyes to roll around in my head. It’s like they don’t want us to watch
WrestleMania or something. Now that the
premise of the match is completely drenched in laughable kayfabe, it appears
the WWE doesn’t care who wears the title anymore. I'm just curious to see how bad the trainwreck is in the end.
To
further add to the confusion, the Ultimate Deletion of Bray Wyatt was another
previously filmed match that though challenges the boundaries of wrestling
entertainment, to what end is ultimately the question that follows. General consensus is that of “What the hell was
that???…” which is more or less how House of Horrors went down and again, the
future of the WWE seems uncertain at best.
I don’t know what to tell anybody but so far I’m not sure what I’m gonna
see at this year’s WrestleMania. Not sure
they’ll get their sell-out with this lead up. Those tarped over seats are starting to get obvious.
Yet,
SmackDown does have some hope with Daniel Bryan getting cleared to wrestle
again. That does set the stage for some
juicy speculation and you can be certain if you tune in for anything, it’ll be
to see Bryan in the ring again. I have
to say I’m happy for him. It’s clear he
loves it out there and misses it. That’s
one of the reasons We the Audience like him so much. He honestly loves this stuff too. Hopefully they don’t bring him back just to make
him do something stupid. Rumor is that
he may team up with Shane McMahon for a match against Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens
for WrestleMania but we’ll see if that shakes out.
In the
meantime, we’ll see if Jinder Mahal will sneak himself the US Title just to
piss Randy Orton off. The Ladies will
continue to contemplate the implications of Asuka brand jumping. The Bludgeon Brothers will find more matches
to unnecessarily disrupt and AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura will find
themselves unlikely allies as the bullseyes grow larger upon their backs. Funny tweets get retweeted and as for
Likes/Favorites, judging by how it’s been going, I wouldn’t hold my breath.
See You
in a Bit.
