SmackDown Can Meditate with the Best of Them!...

A Good Tuesday to You, Enthusiasts!

So, we have a few things to contemplate as we continue our steady jog towards WrestleMania.  First of all, Roman Reigns got himself “suspended” on RAW for insubordination over this whole Brock Lesnar matter.  It’s an intriguing angle but I’m not sure how it will play out.  This match is a tricky one.  Creative has sort of painted themselves into a corner with how these 2 have been handled in general over the years and this could help turn this match into something more palatable but, it will take some thought.  We know whatever we see would have been decided.   So, in the event of a Reigns win, there’s a good chance it will be booed but at least the title will be on someone who’s working full-time.  If Lesnar wins, the title continues to be held by someone who’s eyeing leaving the company anyway which could still garner boos but less than what Reigns would get unless they put on a great match. In that case, it may just not matter who wins but lead-up will still be key.  So far, things are WWE believable so, I’m not quite rolling my eyes but I’m not fully confident this will land cleanly either.  It’s a tough sell.  It’s uphill all the way.

The other thing of note was that John Cena officially threw his hat in the ring regarding a “One Last Time” Match with The UnderTaker for WrestleMania.  Will he take the bait?  Probably, but is that a good thing?  I didn’t like how the UnderTaker was sent off at all and I know it left a bad taste in a lot of people’s mouths but if he’s not good to go, I don’t see the reason for a do-over.  The man doesn’t have to bust himself up for our amusement.  This sort of thing kinda borders on cruel when you think about it but, if the man’s healthy and up for it, why the hell not?  I’m curious but not if he can’t do it.

That all being said, we come to SmackDown and there’s very little out there about what’s slated for action tonight.  The only thing I could find was that since the Bludgeon Brothers decimated The New Day and Jey Uso.  Jimmy Uso and Big E. are going to join forces for payback.  Besides that, it looks like you’ll have to wait and see or check the Internet somewhere.  Funny tweets get retweeted and as for Likes/Favorites, it’s so hard to say.  Let’s not push for too much.  Give it chance to happen naturally.

See You in a Bit,
-Nicole Alexis (^_~)
