SMACKDOWN'S Gonna Be So Ready, They're Gonna Have a PPV to Warm-Up...

Happy Tuesday, Enthusiasts.

May you enjoy it with tacos!  So, RAW continues to make more sense than usual so, I’m just chocking it up to WrestleMania madness.  Expect it all to deteriorate back into chaos come the RAW fallout show.  Yet, I will say that The Miz may be on some sort of passion project because I’m not sure if you all caught it but, he took a pretty blatant jab at the concept of Kayfabe by calling out Creative and indirectly management on the supposed obvious conclusion of Triple H and Stephanie McMahon winning their match against Ronda Rousey and Kurt Angle.  Now, granted it was more to sell the joke of Angle not coming back next year as opposed to a push for creative rebellion but it did add bite to the segment.  With an off-handed comment, that match suddenly became null and void and the Triple Threat between The Miz, Finn Bálor and Seth Rollins became the unofficial main event and I’m fine with it.

Now, to be completely honest, any smart Enthusiast would have already known that.  Rousey on the roster is for the publicity and nothing more but to out the fact, places the whole concept of Kayfabe in a precarious position.  If the whole thing is fake, how do you make it seem real?  Or do you throw the whole thing out and just do it?  No pretense?   I’m all for pushing envelopes and boundaries but careful not to capsize the whole ship over some experimentation.  Make sure you know what you're doing out there.  We'll certainly let it be known if it's off.

On that note, SmackDown prepares for the final PPV before WrestleMania with FastLane.  With RAW making sense, SmackDown has unfortunately faltered.  I don’t know if that just means everyone’s pooling efforts for WrestleMania but, I would suggest they find some sort of baseline when this time comes around.  Both brands have to bring it if we’re gonna care all around.  So, we’ll see if tonight ups the ante any.  We have Carmella off the bench for a go-round with Becky Lynch.  Randy Orton and Jinder Mahal will keep each other loose with a shits & giggles match.  Charlotte is going to try and shine her boots with Ruby Riott’s ass and Dolph Ziggler and AJ Styles will see whose dance would win a battle.  Have to say, it’s a little quiet on the Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens front schedule-wise so, don’t be surprised if they give Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon something to do…could it involve a Rusev Day?  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯  Funny tweets get retweeted and Likes/Favorites will get their due if they earn it.
