Uh-Oh, Could We Run Into Some BackLash...

Greetings Enthusiasts!

So, we gather tonight to view the BackLash PPV and here, I’m a little at a loss.  Yes, I know what to expect but at the same time I don’t.  Implications are sketchy, stories are very loose so, it’s hard to know if anything will be lost or gained during this go-round.  If WWE Creative is wise, they’ll be using this PPV to set the stage for Money in the Bank in June.  That’s all this space is really for so, let’s see how they lay down this groundwork.

Bayley vs. Ruby Riott will probably start things off in the Kick-off Show.  Riott has been bringing it of late so, I wouldn’t be surprised if she takes it.  Not sure what to do to help Bayley’s cause.  She may want to up her arsenal with some crazier moves so that’s she’s more generally entertaining.  Right now, she just feels like someone’s little sister playing out there.  Then there’s Seth Rollins vs. The Miz which should be interesting.  I expect hijinks when The Miz is in play so, it could go either way.  For Carmella vs. Charlotte, I’m leaning towards Charlotte since the title was so rudely stripped from her by Carmella’s cash in.  Then there’s Jeff Hardy vs. Randy Orton, another one that could go either way sort of match.  I think Hardy winning keeps things generally more interesting.  Orton winning would feel like a given.  Somewhere in all this Nia Jax and Alexa Bliss will have another unrealistic bout and given the nature of it, it could certainly go either way.  We also have AJ Styles and Evil Shinsuke Nakamura to consider.  Well, since Nakamura’s all bad now, he may bring out a different side of Styles.  We’ll see if they keep it interesting. There’s also the mismatch of Big Cass and Daniel Bryan to get our David & Goliath sentiments going.  I expect Bryan to win and Cass to be a sore loser.

Now, everyone is speculating the implications of the Roman Reigns and Samoa Joe match but “truthishly”, I doubt how they proceed will really be dictated by this match.  How they go will probably have to do more with people’s scheduling in the end so, I’m just hoping for a good match here.  Don’t care who wins.  This leaves the big ol’Fatal-4-Way with Braun Strowman, Bobby Lashley, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn.  The surprise would be Zayn winning.  The obvious winner is Strowman.  We’ll see if they’ll mix it up with Owens or Lashley.  What do you think, Enthusiasts?  Any particular hopes for this evening?  Funny tweets get retweeted and as for Likes/Favorites we’ll watch and wait.

See You in a Bit,
-Nicole Alexis (^_~)
