How’s Everyone Doing?

Looks like there’s news about the WWE Universe, doesn’t it?  I don’t know much about this Matt Riddle.  I’ve heard his name bandied about and was willing to see what he’s all about but it looks like some residual Karma has come back around to thwart all that.  I’m not going to speculate on what’s true here I’m just going to say that everyone better take notice.  If you have sketchy stuff in your history, make sure you make amends with it before you go on a public push for something.  What goes around does come around.  I think just about everyone can agree.  So, whoever made this allegation either has beef or was wronged.  It all depends on how long ago this happened and what exactly remains unresolved.  Is this someone who feels jilted or is this someone who feels used?  There is a difference.  The former was dismissed, probably without much notice or cause.  What makes this more the other party’s problem is the inability to let it go.  If Riddle simply moved on after some fun, it’s not enough to ruin his career over.  But, if somewhere down the line he got into Louis C.K. territory and believed some heinous shit was okay because he was who he was, then he fucked up and should suffer the consequences.  Story sounds like the latter but who knows.  We’ll see what happens.  Like I said, I only started hearing about the guy so, no real big deal to me.

In other news, now this is more an observation on my part but I’ll speak on it because I can appreciate the potential.  I just hope that’s what I’m actually seeing.  So, this past Monday’s RAW was a little more entertaining than usual.  It would appear the writing changes didn’t hurt but again, Mr. Drew McIntyre stands out…I only hope it’s on purpose.  No, I can’t state another instance of homoeroticism but…I can conjecture that our man McIntyre may be a bit of an elitist which plays in beautifully if he has decided to always be the “Scottish Psychopath”.  As we can see, he’s seeing how Face-dom looks on him.  He is charismatic and attractive, gained the extra muscle so, why not make him a “face” of WWE?  Yet he, like so many others, debuted as a very obvious heel.  Could Mr. McIntyre be laying down some long term foundation for his character?  As we know, in the WWE Universe all Faces become Heels and all Heels become Faces at some point in time.  A character settles generally wherever they work best but the possibility of a turn one way or another is always present.  If McIntyre plays his hand well, he could establish that he is forever the Scottish Psychopath and that we should never forget it.  Psychopaths can be charming mind you, if it suits their purpose.  We’ll see how he develops.

So, that brings us to tonight’s SmackDown.  Word is that Bray Wyatt will return to regale us with more Firefly Fun House.  AJ Styles will commemorate this Intercontinental Title since Daniel Bryan has to be on labor watch with Brie Bella all knocked up. And with Nikki Bella in a family way as well, Mr. Bryan is simply on Paternity/Family Leave for the foreseeable future.  To keep our minds off that, The Miz will host MizTV and have the lovely Mandy Rose as a guest.  Funny tweets will get retweeted and as for Likes/Favorites, well, presume we’re in No Man’s Land for the time being.  Be open yet honest.  If it sucks, it sucks.
