RAW Decides Championships Shall Precede Extreme Rules...

Happy Monday, Enthusiasts!

Given the circumstances, I get the feeling it’s not so painful to see as it once was.  In any case, the WWE Universe is proving that it is not immune to the trials and tribulations of Real Time living.  If it isn’t talk of cutbacks due to COVID its how #TimesUp is making its way through the ranks. Well, when it comes to the allegations and statements, at least these aren’t too recent but recent enough to call into question.  This is because what may be telling is that people now know better than to make these statements publicly, doesn’t mean they’ve changed as people.  That’s the main reason that Matt Riddle may have an uphill battle concerning his predicament.  Contrary to Sammy Guevara’s situation, the WWE has been aware of Riddle’s issues but the fact there is record of an on-going “disagreement” alludes that something did transpire.  Some way or another, Riddle is going to have to own up.  He can either continue to profess innocence or be honest in his involvement but what’s going to give him a chance is demonstrating some sense of decency.  I don’t know if he’s going to be considered a Heel or rogue but We the Audience have to know he knows what’s wrong here and isn’t stopping just ‘cause he’s concerned about getting caught.  We need to know he’s a decent person.  Like I’ve said before, being a Heel doesn’t mean you’re a bad person.  That’s why it’s so imperative that a person remain likable while they play the “bad guy”.  If they really are bad people, the WWE Universe can’t really benefit from them.  They can’t use Heel-itude as cover.  If Riddle wants to keep his career, somewhere, somehow we have to get a glimpse of the real him and he can’t be a dick about it.  We’ll see what happens.

Well, for what it's worth, let’s refocus on what’s scheduled for tonight on RAW.  So, it appears there will be a PPV for July and it will be Extreme Rules.  For whatever reason, that makes tonight “Championship Monday” and a whole host of titles go up for grabs…we’ll see where that leads.  Also, Ric Flair will make an appearance to congratulate who might as well be his Godson in the form of Randy Orton for routing both Edge and Christian.  Well, we all know Flair can take some credit for that, but that’s why this will probably not go “as planned”.  Such is the way of the WWE Universe.  Funny tweets get retweeted and as for Likes/Favorites, well…there’s a lot going on.  Let’s just see how they manage so, let’s not be too biting but let’s be honest.  We have to be if we want the quality to improve.  Be understanding yet clear-cut.  Manage that and you’ll be Liked and retweeted as you ought.

See You in a Bit,

-Nicole Alexis (^_~)
