How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?

Everything going okay? Can’t say much is going on in my world but it should pick up soon. In any case, when it comes to the Wrestling World, there’s not all that much going on so this post should be brief. Let’s get to it.

So, all that’s going on continues to be speculation. Given CM Punk’s release from AEW, his partner in crime, Ace Steel, was also let go for a second time. That’s gotta sting a little for Punk as his antics trickled down to someone else. I’m not sure if that will be a factor should WWE consider bringing Punk back. I guess it will be all contingent upon the argument Punk and Steel come up with outside of Punk’s guilt. We shall see what comes to pass.

In the WWE Universe, the WWE Superstar Spectacle was held in India earlier today. Given the card, no surprises happened but it was a new experience for most of those tapped to perform. John Cena posing with The Great Khali is going around. So, Cena has become an unofficial global ambassador. No big news here, just a snippet of what’s going on today. Like I said, not that much of a news day.

And so, that brings us to tonight’s SmackDown. This show should wrap up the Fallout from Payback and allow us to start to focus on FastLane set for October 7th. To help redirect us, we have some Tag Team action as Shotzi Blackheart pairs with Charlotte Flair to take on Bayley and Iyo Sky of Damage CTRL. New Tag Team Champs, Finn Bálor and Damian Priest of the Judgment Day will face Pete “Butch” Dunne and Ridge Holland of the Brawling Brutes. AJ Styles and Jimmy Uso will complete some unfinished business tonight as well in what will probably be the night’s main event. 

We’ll have to watch if we want to get the full picture. My plans have been delayed one more week so, I’ll be watching along with the rest of the West Coast. As always, you’re welcome to join the unofficial watch party. We’ll see if people make use of the extra space with some of the roster away. It’s a good time to let loose and have some fun. Let’s see if they see it that way.
