Bad Blood 2024 - SmackDown Fallout....

 How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?

Happy Friday! So, there’s a few things we can chat about today. I’ll keep to the point since there’s not a whole lot going on but there’s enough to have decent conversation. Ready to get into it? Let’s.

Let’s start in the Realm of AEW first as Bryan Danielson/Daniel Bryan is putting his 😡 face on and coming for Jon Moxley. Moxley has professed walking into the “mouth of war…” this Saturday at AEW’s WrestleDream PPV. Danielson made sure he does it with a few bruises as he gave Mox what for all around the ring, backstage and back this past Tuesday.

I did a little homework this week and caught his and Wheeler Yuta’s match against BCC members Claudio Castagnoli aka Cesaro and PAC. All I’ll say is that Danielson has every right to put his foot right up Mox’s ass and he pretty much did that so, good for him. Mox asked for it. Not sure how this plays out in the match but it’s nice to see Danielson can man up when the situation calls for it.

It also bodes well for gradually metamorphosing into comedy ‘cause there’s just something fun about a “steaming mad” Danielson. You just don’t think he has it in him. But Mox was out of line trying to “kill him”. What did he even do? Mox says he represents the shit he’s opposing but how? That has yet to be clearly explained. Not that I’m griping about it but I like how Danielson is fully within his rights to go, “What the hell is your problem, man!” But we know Mox, he speaks but doesn’t use words. An ass-kicking is all a man like that understands. I’m glad Danielson realized 😉 I’ll be checking in after the action.

On a side note, Danielson has said that the neck issue he needs surgery for has been flaring up and at times he didn’t have strength in his legs during his match. He looked fine to me but who knows. Many feel it’s a work to lure Moxley into a false sense of security. The “wounded fawn” technique, I suppose. We’ll see if Mox takes the bait.

Over in the WWE Universe, what could be big news is that The Rock may not be available for WrestleMania 41 next year. After The Rock’s appearance at this year’s Bad Blood, his Instagram post alluded to see us “down the road” but that’s pretty vague. Many thought that was a hint at appearing at next year’s WrestleMania but who knows. Personally, I feel it makes more sense to arrive at War Games/Survivor Series but we’ll see where everyone’s head is at. Naturally, these “plans” could change but whatever will be, will be. I’ll live regardless.

In other news, word is that Rhea Ripley has a nice new contract ready for her to sign. Reports say she hasn’t signed yet but if/when she does, the new deal is for 5 years with a nice pay bump. Sounds like she has plenty of reason to stay put. We’ll see if she suddenly pivots.

And so, that brings us to tonight’s SmackDown.  They should conclude Bad Blood’s Fallout. Not much is advertised for tonight. The headline is Roman Reigns telling us some stuff about what can only be his disagreement with current affairs. We’ll see what it leads to. LA Knight will give Andrade a break and face Carmelo Hayes for the United States Title. And we’ll get a look at some NXT Ladies as Jakara Jackson and Lash Legend stop-by to see if they can relieve Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill of the Women's Tag Team Titles.

We’ll have to watch to see what else is going on. Unofficial Watch Party is set for 8pm PDT if there are no technical issues. Pick your platform and play along if you’re in the mood.

See You in a Bit,

-Nicole Alexis (^_~)
