RAW Kicks Everyone Out for Crown Jewel...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   A merry Monday to you! So, there’s not that much for me to talk about. Things are going on but nothing that’s rattling the cage enough for me to talk about it much. Given that, this should be a brief post. Care to take a little time to read through anyway? Here it goes.   Let’s begin with our brief stop in the Realm of AEW. The BCC took it a little easy this past week as Yuta Wheeler explained himself. That’s all fine and good. I hope he paves a respectable path for himself.   I’ll just close on the matter by dropping my final submission into the Suggestion Box.   Towards the end of this ordeal, I think it’s fine for people to start lightly “Dead Naming” Mox. Naturally, this should come mostly from former WWE stars but it should be kinda subtle. Like, someone saying something along the likes of “I knew a guy by the name of Ambrose who did something similar…” or “This seems like something someone called ‘Dean’ would say…” Someone could be so bo

SmackDown Preps to Be Out of the Office for Crown Jewel...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Happy Friday! Well, it’s a busy night in Southern California as all sorts of things are going on tonight. The Lakers have a game. World Series, Game 1 is on and there are few other events that have the streets set to be all jammed up in a few hours. I’ll be safe inside but good luck to all those out there in the thick of it.   As for the Wrestling World, there are some things rattling around but I’m only going to talk about a few of them. Are you up for it? Let’s get into it.   I’ll take a quick pit stop in the Realm of AEW as I do have my eyes on the BCC/Jon Moxley “usurpation” of AEW. I saw that “disclaimer” they were using for this week’s Dynamite warning everyone of Mox’s expected presence and I would have only used that in the locker room. There’s something about this angle that seems best not forced. Given the tone of the fan comments I’ve been seeing, most aren’t really sure where this is going or if they even like it so, I wouldn’t tr

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts? Not much is happening over here. Well, the Dodgers won the National League playoffs so, people are vibing off that at the moment on my side of town but besides that, there isn’t much to report. Kinda hot but not unusual for Southern California. As for the Wrestling World, there are a few things going on. Some of it may be a little upsetting but we should, for the most part, carry on. Let’s discuss, shall we? We’ll make a quick stop in the Realm of AEW as Jon Moxley continues his “SHIELD Vendetta”. All I’ll say is that whenever someone calls the “psychiatric hold” on him, it should be about the halfway mark of this story. I don’t know if they can drag it out over a couple of years but they should try. And whoever “turns Mox in” should be “anonymous”. It should have a “Who shot JR?” kinda feel to it. Was it Tony Khan? Chris Jericho? Renée Paquette?!? Or could it be someone in the BCC? It should drive Mox a little nuts, if you know what I mean. Also, Mox shoul

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts? Happy Friday! So, there’s not much to chat about but what there is, we could go for a while on so I’ll keep this post to the point. Ready to get into it? Let’s dive in. In the Realm of AEW, we have the fallout of Bryan Danielson’s/Daniel Bryan’s full-time retirement as Jon Moxley has declared himself “in-charge” of AEW and is pretty much just taking over with BCC.  If I’m looking at it right, Mox is taking the advice of doubling-down on himself. You don’t find any of this familiar? He’s running with a crew, who jumps fools while he rocks the mic declaring that a new order is in town. Meanwhile, everyone is pissed! Jon Moxley is Dean Ambrose and Dean Ambrose is Jon Moxley. We’ve seen this before. This is how the SHIELD rolled and now he’s got more cronies and way more clout. There appears to be a new “Architect” on the block. This is where it gets interesting to me because you can go in a lot of different directions. I hope AEW Creative is doing some rese

RAW Takes It Easy this Week....

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts? So, some stuff went down over the weekend. It’s nothing devastating. We mostly knew AEW was having their WrestleDream PPV and the headline was “retiring Bryan Danielson aka Daniel Bryan”. Did that happen? Yes and no. I didn’t watch the whole thing but I caught a couple matches just to see how they’re doing and of course, I have some notes. Wanna hear ‘em? Here they come. So, in the Realm of AEW, it looks like Will Osprey, Ricochet and Konosuke Takashita took the top spot for Match of the Night. I don’t need to take a look to believe that but I did find that Willow Nightingale and Mariah May had the 2nd spot so, I just had to take a look to see if it warranted the attention. Well, it’s not like the action we’d see from WWE Ladies but it was executed in earnest and that all-outedness earned them a great deal of endearment. They may not want to hear it but the display came off as real cute and I mean that in the best way. They may not be the most skilled pra

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts? Happy Friday! So, there’s a few things we can chat about today. I’ll keep to the point since there’s not a whole lot going on but there’s enough to have decent conversation. Ready to get into it? Let’s. Let’s start in the Realm of AEW first as Bryan Danielson/Daniel Bryan is putting his 😡 face on and coming for Jon Moxley. Moxley has professed walking into the “mouth of war…” this Saturday at AEW’s WrestleDream PPV. Danielson made sure he does it with a few bruises as he gave Mox what for all around the ring, backstage and back this past Tuesday. I did a little homework this week and caught his and Wheeler Yuta’s match against BCC members Claudio Castagnoli aka Cesaro and PAC. All I’ll say is that Danielson has every right to put his foot right up Mox’s ass and he pretty much did that so, good for him. Mox asked for it. Not sure how this plays out in the match but it’s nice to see Danielson can man up when the situation calls for it.  It also bodes well

Bad Blood 2024 - RAW Fallout

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   So, people are having some trouble adjusting to the new 2-hour format for RAW it sounds like. Lots of comments are less pleased than stoked. People have been complaining all these years only to complain some more. Ain't that how it always goes? Well, there are few things to chat about. Ready to get to it? Let’s dive in.   Bad Blood is done and dusted and CM Punk gets to float on some bragging rights for the time being. There are some sentiments of displeasure being tossed around seeing how Drew McIntyre ended up with 16 staples in his head for an unprotected toolbox shot to the dome but I have to say, the “violence” didn’t bother me. It was exactly the right amount if you ask me.   True, I’m not a fan of the Crimson Mask and both Punk and McIntyre where wearing them but, it seemed appropriate for all the build up of the match. The usage of the wrenches was a bit hokey but it comes with the territory so, I’m not going to gripe about it. I w

Bad Blood 2024 - Matches of Interest

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   So, best show of them all, huh? Guess we’ll see about that. While we contemplate, here’s what’s got my attention. Care to take a look? We’re probably on the same page.   So, first order of business is the supposed first order of business. Word is that the Hell in the Cell Match is going to open. I wouldn’t do this. Only because of the logistics. Just face it. It takes time to set up. Time to break down. Even if CM Punk and Drew McIntyre knock it out of the park, you risk a loss in momentum. First match should set the tone of the night.   Personally, I’m thinking it should be Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan. That’s fun. Dominik Mysterio is in a shark cage. Already, they’ve kinda undersold themselves and that’s fine. The kids get to prove themselves while everyone else gauges how to measure up. To me, that’s a better way to set themselves up for success.   The HIAC is hit or miss by default and then you pressurize it by opening? I don’t know. I t

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts? Happy Friday! Well, there are plenty of things we can discuss this evening but I’m only going to touch on a few. Shouldn’t take too long. You’ll be hearing a lot from me with Bad Blood this weekend so, I’ll try not to ramble on. Let’s get into it, shall we? We’ll begin in the Realm of AEW as they finalized their deal with Warner Bros./Discovery. Content will be posted to Max and they’re locked in for the next few years. Congratulations to them! It’s nice to seem them getting a foothold. I never ascribed to the tribalism that floats around so, I don’t mind them succeeding. Don’t know why that would be a problem. There should be alternatives in a free market. It may not be my bag but I’m glad it’s out there to showcase talent that may not get the recognition they deserve otherwise. Onwards and upwards! I also followed up on the BCC vs. Bryan Danielson Saga and I see we’ve come to the “Ballad of Wheeler Yuta” chapter. I don’t know anything about the guy but
