PUTTING THAT SMACKDOWN...What Happened Last (Tuesday) Night [June 11th, 2015]

Image
Greetings Enthusiasts!  Money in the Bank is coming up this Sunday and I have to admit I continue to be lukewarm about it.  Though Smackdown wasn’t exactly disappointing, if I’m supposed to be getting all excited for MITB, I’m not really sure how I’m supposed to do  it through what was presented.  There were a couple solid matches, but in terms of any feuding or story, it all just feels a bit flat.  I don’t mind just having a wrestling spectacle but if that’s what they’re gonna do, they should explicitly state that or develop more of the drama so that we care. We open in Lafayette, Louisiana and Dean Ambrose greets us with a “title belt” on his shoulder.   As we remember from RAW, Ambrose has been having a great time frolicking around New Orleans with the Heavyweight Championship belt and he takes some time to show us the pics on the “big screen”.   Nice right?   Just as Ambrose is about to continue, a huffy Seth Rollins marches down the ramp.   What the fuck is this bullshit

It's a Sad Day for SMACKDOWN...

Good evening, Enthusiasts. Well, what would usually be more banal talk of the lead up to Money in the Bank this Sunday is marred by the passing of our beloved Dusty Rhodes.  No doubt you have seen the news all throughout the forums.  Though I missed his heyday, he has been a regular presence in the WWE for as long as I've been watching and I am saddened by this news.  May he rest in peace.  Let us mourn but not for too long.  Of what I've seen of him, he seems the type that would enjoy a Louisiana style funeral service.  So, let us remember how he brought us all joy and celebrate a great person and career.  We can watch some Smackdown too.  Funny tweets will get retweeted and if a Favorite ever comes it will be made one and retweeted but I fully understand if many of you don't feel very jovial tonight. See You in a Bit, -Nicole Alexis (^_^)

GIVING IT TO YOU RAW…What Happened Last Night (June 8th, 2015)

Greetings Enthusiasts!  By the looks of things, it would appear that the WWE is trying to embrace some semblance of change. We saw plenty of the same but perhaps in a different order or with less emphasis to sticking to the script.  Whatever the case, I found the push for invigoration encouraging. We the Audience have voiced over recent years our collective displeasure but have somewhat resigned ourselves to never being heard. Perhaps someone, somewhere is in fact listening. We open in New Orleans , Louisiana with John Cena to greet us.  His purpose?  To talk about his match with Kevin Owens scheduled for Money in the Bank this Sunday.  It’s simple to Cena. Yeah, Owens and NXT are the hot-shit right now and so, naturally Owens has earned some respect. Yet, what Owens has to understand is that there’s a difference between NXT and the WWE.  Yes, Owens got Cena at Payback and Cena has much respect but, Owens has to recognize that the game is played differently in the “big leagu

What's going on, Enthusiasts? We're in "Go Home" territory now for Money in the Bank so, I'll be expecting action to be a little more interesting.  I'll be introducing some new folks to the WWE PPV with this one so, the pressure's on for the WWE to produce.  I'll make sure to tell them to keep their expectations low (^_~)  In the meantime, let's see if they get our appetites whetted.  Funny tweets get retweeted and we'll see if a Favorite makes an appearance. See You in a Bit, -Nicole Alexis.

PUTTIN’ THAT SMACKDOWN…What Happened Last (Tuesday) Night (June 4th, 2015)

Hey there, Enthusiasts!   This week’s Smackdown was a bit of a this and that, as can happen, but I found myself more entertained than not.   Nothing too phenomenal went on but if you’re an avid Enthusiast, I’m sure you weren’t very upset with it.   I actually think we got some good action and though this seemed to favor the heels this time out, it was done in a way that built momentum for next week's RAW as we’ll want to see how those who fell, come back to redeem themselves. We open in Houston , Texas a little differently this evening.   It appears Seth Rollins would like to have a little chat with us.   He wants us to understand something.   What I want everyone to understand is that I am the future.   I sided with The Authority because it was the best move.   Yes, you can’t deny there is strength in numbers but do I need them?   No.   I don’t need anybody!   When Wrestlemania came, I waited for my moment and I took it right when any intelligent champion wo

There's Always Room for SMACKDOWN...

Plenty of it (^_~) How's your Thursday evening going, Enthusiasts? Can't say I can complain too much.  So, the WWE appears to be moving in the right direction for once and it's very exciting yet, I do hate to get my hopes up.  Nevertheless, I feel this upswing has been long coming.  I'm glad it's arriving and hope it just continues.  We've got a couple weeks until Money in the Bank and given tonight's spoilers, we should be kept moderately interested yet, I'm sure we'll get better come "Go Home" time.  We'll see how it all plays out.  Funny tweets get retweeted and I won't expect to see a Favorite but I'll be happy if it arrives. See You in a Bit, -Nicole Alexis.

How goes it, Enthusiasts?  Did you like this week’s episode of RAW?   Have to say I enjoyed myself and for once, I had a lot of fun watching it.  There was something very “back to basics” about it that I found refreshing.  It didn’t take itself seriously, it shouldn’t really in general, and was funny.  I didn’t fall over laughing but I found myself understanding more than not,why I am a wrestling enthusiast. We open in San Antonio , Texas and The Authority enter with Seth Rollins at the front of their V-shaped formation and no one’s happy, not a bit, nope.  Once in the ring, Stephanie McMahon explains to us why Dean Ambrose is just no good.  He straight up stole the Heavyweight Title Belt.  Who the hell does he think he is?  A guy like that only understands severe repercussions.  So, what shall we do with him?  Fine him?  Suspend him?  Fire him?   Triple H then interjects, telling the crowd to shut-up in true Triple H fashion and then demands that Ambrose get his ass ou

WELCOME TO ELIMINATION CHAMBER!!...What Happened Last Night (May 31st, 2015)

Greetings Enthusiasts!   Well, not much changed but what did was monumental as the New Guard appears to be getting ushered in.   As far as PPVs go, I don’t think it was a spectacular outing but it was fun and at this point, I think that's good enough.   It also had a groundbreaking match so that makes it come off at least like you got your money’s worth so, I’m not gonna complain too much.   I had a great time and I’m very curious how everything is going to proceed. I missed the Pre-Show/Kick-Off action but it appears that Stardust dispatched of Zack Ryder (surprise, surprise) and we get some Daniel Bryan updates via MizTV.   In regards to Bryan , his injury doesn’t appear to be career-ending and he plans on returning to the ring as soon as he can.   The Miz is as the Miz is and acts the pompous ass until “The Mega Powers” in Damien Sandow and Curtis Axel come out and show ‘em what the lot of us thinks of that. We then get into the meat of the matter with the fi
