RAW Takes It Easy this Week....

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts? So, some stuff went down over the weekend. It’s nothing devastating. We mostly knew AEW was having their WrestleDream PPV and the headline was “retiring Bryan Danielson aka Daniel Bryan”. Did that happen? Yes and no. I didn’t watch the whole thing but I caught a couple matches just to see how they’re doing and of course, I have some notes. Wanna hear ‘em? Here they come. So, in the Realm of AEW, it looks like Will Osprey, Ricochet and Konosuke Takashita took the top spot for Match of the Night. I don’t need to take a look to believe that but I did find that Willow Nightingale and Mariah May had the 2nd spot so, I just had to take a look to see if it warranted the attention. Well, it’s not like the action we’d see from WWE Ladies but it was executed in earnest and that all-outedness earned them a great deal of endearment. They may not want to hear it but the display came off as real cute and I mean that in the best way. They may not be the most skilled pra

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts? Happy Friday! So, there’s a few things we can chat about today. I’ll keep to the point since there’s not a whole lot going on but there’s enough to have decent conversation. Ready to get into it? Let’s. Let’s start in the Realm of AEW first as Bryan Danielson/Daniel Bryan is putting his 😡 face on and coming for Jon Moxley. Moxley has professed walking into the “mouth of war…” this Saturday at AEW’s WrestleDream PPV. Danielson made sure he does it with a few bruises as he gave Mox what for all around the ring, backstage and back this past Tuesday. I did a little homework this week and caught his and Wheeler Yuta’s match against BCC members Claudio Castagnoli aka Cesaro and PAC. All I’ll say is that Danielson has every right to put his foot right up Mox’s ass and he pretty much did that so, good for him. Mox asked for it. Not sure how this plays out in the match but it’s nice to see Danielson can man up when the situation calls for it.  It also bodes well

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   So, people are having some trouble adjusting to the new 2-hour format for RAW it sounds like. Lots of comments are less pleased than stoked. People have been complaining all these years only to complain some more. Ain't that how it always goes? Well, there are few things to chat about. Ready to get to it? Let’s dive in.   Bad Blood is done and dusted and CM Punk gets to float on some bragging rights for the time being. There are some sentiments of displeasure being tossed around seeing how Drew McIntyre ended up with 16 staples in his head for an unprotected toolbox shot to the dome but I have to say, the “violence” didn’t bother me. It was exactly the right amount if you ask me.   True, I’m not a fan of the Crimson Mask and both Punk and McIntyre where wearing them but, it seemed appropriate for all the build up of the match. The usage of the wrenches was a bit hokey but it comes with the territory so, I’m not going to gripe about it. I w

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   So, best show of them all, huh? Guess we’ll see about that. While we contemplate, here’s what’s got my attention. Care to take a look? We’re probably on the same page.   So, first order of business is the supposed first order of business. Word is that the Hell in the Cell Match is going to open. I wouldn’t do this. Only because of the logistics. Just face it. It takes time to set up. Time to break down. Even if CM Punk and Drew McIntyre knock it out of the park, you risk a loss in momentum. First match should set the tone of the night.   Personally, I’m thinking it should be Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan. That’s fun. Dominik Mysterio is in a shark cage. Already, they’ve kinda undersold themselves and that’s fine. The kids get to prove themselves while everyone else gauges how to measure up. To me, that’s a better way to set themselves up for success.   The HIAC is hit or miss by default and then you pressurize it by opening? I don’t know. I t

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts? Happy Friday! Well, there are plenty of things we can discuss this evening but I’m only going to touch on a few. Shouldn’t take too long. You’ll be hearing a lot from me with Bad Blood this weekend so, I’ll try not to ramble on. Let’s get into it, shall we? We’ll begin in the Realm of AEW as they finalized their deal with Warner Bros./Discovery. Content will be posted to Max and they’re locked in for the next few years. Congratulations to them! It’s nice to seem them getting a foothold. I never ascribed to the tribalism that floats around so, I don’t mind them succeeding. Don’t know why that would be a problem. There should be alternatives in a free market. It may not be my bag but I’m glad it’s out there to showcase talent that may not get the recognition they deserve otherwise. Onwards and upwards! I also followed up on the BCC vs. Bryan Danielson Saga and I see we’ve come to the “Ballad of Wheeler Yuta” chapter. I don’t know anything about the guy but

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   Making the most of a Monday? I guess you have to. There is quite a bit to chat about, depending on your interest, but I’m only going to talk about a few things. Just going with a broad overview. Though there’s much to choose from, I’ve only got words for a few. Up for hearing them? Let’s get into it.   First thing is first, whether you like him or not, congratulations are in order for Mr. Logan Paul. He’s a proud Papa as he and his fiancée welcomed their 1 st child last week. I’m sure the reality is sinking in and changing our braggart at a core level. Will he be as fun to boo going forward? Can’t say but I do wish his new family well. Mazel Tov!   In other news, for The Simpsons fans out there, John Cena got his debut but most agree that the Simpson-ification didn’t quite take with him. A commentor got it right, I think, by noticing Cena was drawn without a chin and that’s one of his more distinguishing features. Can’t say I made the corre

Happy Friday, Enthusiasts! Certainly glad to see the end of this week. Not that it was particularly bad or anything, just looking forward to a rest 😩 As for the Wrestling World, there are a few topics of interest we can chat about. You up for it? Let’s break it down. We’ll start in the Realm of AEW as there were some things that warrant a short discussion. First of all, Shane McMahon was seen with the Young Bucks during a flight recently. Both parties were on their way to Salt Lake City, UT for some reason. Most are saying this is a coincidence but is there a Shane McMahon debut at AEW in the works?  I can’t say. It does seem random but without Tony Khan in the mix it’s hard to say one way or another. I guess with those who travel a lot and in the same business, crossing paths is bound to happen but the destination does raise an eyebrow. It would be more dismissable if the flight was from Salt Lake to New York but reports are saying it was from New York to Salt Lake so 🤔 Guess we’ll

RAW Deals with a Mixed Bag Ahead of Bad Blood...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?   A decent Monday, for you? I don’t know about you, but it was kinda strange for me, a lot of irregular happenings. People usually present, absent. Routes usually clear, backed up with traffic. Shops usually open, suddenly closed. And some of the opposite happened as well. Someone never there, shows up. Detouring from one franchise to another leads to a better experience. There are astrological explanations but I’m keeping it simpler. It was a bit of an odd day.   In any case, we’ve got some stuff we can talk about going on in the Wrestling World. Still up for the chat, even if it’s a weird one? Let’s get into it.   Well, let’s get the less savory chatter out of the way. In response to the new Netflix documentary out on Vince McMahon, it appears Mr. McMahon has issued a statement generally asking for some consideration. Given his disgraced status, it’s no surprise most onlookers and commenters aren’t willing to hear it but I can’t help but feel
