RAW Concludes the Tour of Germany...

How’s It Going, Enthusiasts?

Enjoy your weekend? I felt mine was productive. As for the Wrestling World, there’s not a lot going on that’s piqued my interest but we’ve got some stuff to talk about, don’t worry πŸ˜‰ Without further ado let’s get into it, shall we?

Over in the Realm of AEW, I feel we got some clarification on Jon Moxley’s “status” so to speak. As the Riders of Death in Daniel Garcia, PAC and Wheeler Yuta participated in their version of a 6-Man Tag, Moxley sat in on commentary to talk up his crew and generally lend support. The discourse, to me, made it clear he’s no Face but he’s not exactly a Heel either. I think he’s more or less what he’s always been, Rogue and that’s fine.

I was just pointing out how if he has Face-turned, he’d have to be a better Face and he’s more or less the same as he ever was so if people have grown to appreciate it, I have nothing against it. I hope it’s clear that I am a fan. I just couldn’t get behind faux attempted murder. This shit just isn’t that serious and if someone is taking it that far, then said person has bigger problems. No one wants to see that. It alludes to corporate irresponsibility and whatnot and we’re trying to have a good time. That shit just pops the balloon, so to speak. We can’t maintain a sense of belief. It tips us off that this is bullshit and bad storytelling. I hope that’s never the endgame.

Mox can go nuts all he wants he just can’t go “criminally insane”. If it were real, he would have been arrested and charged. Note the absence of police presence and no news coverage. So, the move was just stupid. I had to voice that. I like being able to enjoy my “wrasslin’” and shit like that makes me question why I watch. It can be over-the-top but not ridiculous, unless that’s the point then it has to be hilarious. I’m here to be entertained. Yet, the crux of live entertainment blended with kayfabery is that there’s a definite line that can’t be crossed. We have to believe it but it shouldn’t be real.

Should the Future take shape as I feel it ought, then the “drastic measures” are a response to Mox “acting up again”. All believable. The drastic measures can easily be staged and all Mox has to do is “lose his mind” in response to being reined in. All doable and I am looking forward to it. All I suggest is that the ramp up should be gradual, which it appears to be and when things start to pop off, the “old habits” should become more and more “familiar”. Remember, this should be a “relapse” not a breakdown. Keep to those tenets, and when this is all said and done, the Wrestling World should have a new landscape. Let the Rogue go rogue.

All that said, let them enjoy the quiet for now. PAC is up to take on Darby Allin on this week’s Dynamite and I feel PAC should make it 3-0 in their head-to-head. If Allin does manage a win, it’s got to be crafty. I don’t see him taking out PAC without some sort of help. PAC is no joke and he should be presented as such. It also helps if that’s the plan for the future of the Riders. If PAC is to assume the helm at some point, why should be clear. We’ll see how this all plays out. I’ll just close the matter with don’t be surprised if Mox starts to slip into old habits soon. He’s the type who can’t sit still for too long. The Future should start to take shape in the coming months. Let us be patient.

As for the WWE Universe, they conclude their tour of Germany with tonight’s RAW. It got an early start on Netflix so, I understand if you watched it already. As for those of us who were busy, when our night opens up we can expect Je’Von Evans to keep up to speed with “Tres” Americano. A recovered Penta (Lucha-Mitsu) will pair up with Dragon Lee to see if they can make it through against Bronson Reed and Austin Theory of the New Vision. We’ll hear why Raquel Rodriguez feels she has to stomp out Stephanie Vaquer. AJ Styles will give GUNTHER something to think about. Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky will celebrate being the new Tag Team Champs. And CM Punk will remind us why we should have never counted him out.

This should be my final early viewing as the new state of affairs for me should go into effect this week. It was a long time coming but now, it’s just time for the next thing. I’ll be taking it back to 8pm PST next week but for now, enjoy one last 6:30pm start time. Maybe a little earlier if I can get myself together. You know where to find me.

See You in a Bit,

-Nicole Alexis (^_~)
